Paul Wall & Termanology’s new ‘Start Finish Repeat’ deluxe album has arrived

The anthems you already heard plus new audio fire? Of course it’s mind-blowing and must-hear vibes from the Texas and Massachusetts rap heavyweights.

Paul Wall & Termanology have just released the deluxe version of their recent album Start Finish Repeat. With five additional tracks added to the original tracklist, the deluxe continues to demonstrate the natural cohesion between Paul Wall’s unmistakable Southern charm and Termanlogy’s bar-heavy Northeastern boom-bap influences. Featuring a remix of “Talk About It” with an added verse from KXNG Crooked, as well as a remix of “Thailand” (feat. Smif-N-Wessun), a fan-favorite off their 2022 joint-album Start 2 Finish, the pair of legends are ready to rinse and repeat their winning formula to further solidify Paul Wall’s place as an undisputed Hip-Hop icon and Termanology’s long-standing tenure as one the underground’s most essential emcees. Out now, the Deluxe version of Start Finish Repeat boasts additional features from Nim K and Brian Angel, and continues Paul Wall and Termanology’s successful experiment in combining their regional sounds into lushful collaborative efforts.

Paul Wall & Termanology dropped Start Finish Repeat on October 13th, which was led by an impressive string of singles including the authoritative “Talk About It”, the introspective “Do It for the Ghetto” (feat. Big K.R.I.T. & Lakeith Rashad) and “No Apologies” (feat. Bun B & Deandre Nico). Start Finish Repeat boasts a long list of features from Hip-Hop greats like AZ, Sheek Louch, Peedie Crakk & Nems, plus production credits from Statik Selektah, Large Professor and more. Regardless of his legendary stature in Hip-Hop, Paul Wall has always considered himself to be a student of the game, keeping his ear to the underground – leading him to discover Termanologythrough a mutual friend, the legendary producer Statik Selektah. After seamlessly merging each other’s gritty bar work with the traditional East Coast-infused production on Start 2 Finish last year, the dynamic tandem once again flexed their lyrical muscles across Start Finish Repeat by stepping outside of their comfort zones in order to match each other’s energy. With an emphasis on playful bar work and detailed storytelling, their shared underlying love of Hip-Hop and artistic evolution unites them. As Paul Walland Termanology once again effortlessly blend the characteristics of their respective Hip-Hop hubs, the result is an unlikely yet powerful hot streak between two legendary worlds and careers that keeps on giving.
