Russ: The much-needed 'It Was You All Along' world tour has officially kicked off

The music festivals and global touring goals are officially happening and what better way to geek out over hip-hop crooner Russ than knowing you’ll have ample chances to catch him live these next few weeks?

Russ’ ‘It Was You All Along’ world tour is rocking

With shows at Los Angeles’ Kia Forum and New York’s Barclays Center on deck, Russ has had spots blazing up from Seattle last Friday and Oakland this past weekend.

Multi-platinum artist, producer and best-selling author Russ kicked off night one of his highly anticipated it was you all along world tour at the Climate Pledge Arena in Seattle on May 31. Russ performed a wide range of fan favorites from ““3:15 (Breathe)” to “Handsomer” as well as songs from his chart-topping album SANTIAGO released last summer.

The tour opened with support from 6lack and Melii, both of which Russ recently released collaborations with, including “Workin On Me” ft. 6lack and “Best Friend” ft. Melii. Russ came to the stage during each artist’s set to perform their songs together.

Produced by Live Nation, Russ’ 10-date North American tour kicks off on May 31st in Seattle, WA at Climate Pledge Arena, with stops in Oakland, Inglewood, Denver, Toronto, and more before wrapping up on June 28th at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, NY. Russ will also bring the it was you all along tour across the UK and Europe, hitting 20 major cities including London, Milan, Paris, Amsterdam, Berlin and more before wrapping up on November 17th in Stockholm, Sweden.Tickets available here.

The multi-hyphenate artist doesn’t stop there. Russ recently announced his second book “it was you all along,” slated for release via HarperCollins on June 4th and debuted his clothing line inspired by his chart-topping album SANTIAGO at the KidSuper store in Brooklyn earlier this month. As a follow up to his best-selling book “IT’S ALL IN YOUR HEAD,” “it was you all along” is about self-empowerment, self-awareness, and ultimately self-love. The book immediately rose to #8 in the world on Amazon with pre-sales, and charted as the #5 self-help book, and the #1 best-selling in Rap & Hip Hop Musician Biographies.
