Who says a new single can’t get love in the Attack The Culture NEWS section? Turns out I’m in a very giving mood and love showing big love to folks showing big love here - so it’s all eyes and ears on what’s brewing these days courtesy of Suburban Noize Records’ Saint Dog and the newly released ‘Miss Demeanor.’

Saint Dog comes through barking with the ‘Miss Demeanor’ single

It’s more than just announcements and buzz for Dog these days. Saint’s gearing up for his full-fledged Funky Soul studio drop in October and ‘Miss Demeanor’ teases what’s on deck.

Suburban Noize Records proudly announces the release of Saint Dog's latest single, "Miss Demeanor," now available on all digital music platforms. Originally recorded in 2012 with Aaron "Mutilator" Danek, the track's studio files were uncovered by Donny "The DRP" Polinske in the Suburban Noize archives. The beat has been remixed by "Fiasco" Andretti for the highly anticipated album, "Funky Soul."

"We're all proud of the Saint Dog 'Funky Soul' album and can't wait for you to hear it," says The DRP, who helped bring the album together with the help of Suburban Noize and Saint's family. "Saint Dog was a one of a kind MC and human being.  Anyone that met him, instantly wanted to be friends with him.  He has a legacy as a musician but also as a good hearted person.  He always had his friends back in any situation.  He was loyal to the bone and never afraid to stand up for what's right.  His music will be shared by generations of fans for years to come.  His name will never die, and his soul will live on forever.  He is truly the 'Funky Soul'!"

Saint Dog’s final album, "Funky Soul," is set for release on his birthday, October 21st, 2024, via Suburban Noize. Featuring collaborations with longtime friends and music partners Donny "The DRP" Polinske and Kyle Krukowski, and guest appearances by D-Loc, Johnny Richter, Chucky Chuck, Obnoxious, Danny Diablo, and S.O.S (Son of Saint). "Funky Soul" captures the essence of West Coast hip-hop that shaped the genre. With a blend of gritty G-funk, robust grooves, and Saint Dog's signature hypnotic flow, "Funky Soul" marks a return to his roots, evoking the spirit of his early days in Placentia, CA as a Kottonmouth King.

Pre-orders for "Funky Soul" are now available at www.SubNoizeStore.com, offering fans a chance to secure a limited edition T-shirt, basketball jersey, sticker pack, and an advance digital download of the tracks. Physical pre-orders will be shipped before the October 21st release date, with fans receiving their copies ahead of the streaming platforms.

Saint Dog's departure left an undeniable musical legacy on the underground, with his contributions to Kottonmouth Kings' seminal debut album, "Royal Highness," as well as his solo projects like "Ghetto Guide" and "Unconformable Social Amputees." His influence can also be heard on underground classics such as the Subnoize Souljaz and DGAF's self-titled debut album with Big Hoss and Chucky Chuck.
