Today, 9th May, marking her momentous comeback year, ShaSimone, the Hackney rapper, returns with her latest double single, "Let Go/Mob Ties". Sha penned “Let Go” amidst her darkest period last year, finding strength in hitting rock bottom and embracing that real growth only emerges from discomfort. “Let Go”, produced by JB Made It - known for producer credits for Drake, Headie One, and Unknown T - unveils Sha's remarkable vocal in a lullaby-like chorus, marking the first time her supporters experience her versatile singing range in full force. Produced by Harry Jay, "Mob Ties" flips the script, seamlessly blending reflective vibes with Sha's infectious, high-octane, club-ready energy, striking the perfect harmony between both.
Shauna Yeboah, known as ShaSimone, emerged onto the music scene in 2020 and has become renowned for her unparalleled mastery of her pen, effortless delivery, and unwavering confidence. Her viral sensation "A Star Babe" instantly accumulated over 100K views and catapulted her into a flurry of high-quality freestyles and consistent releases like "Supersize," "No Chaser," and "Back To Sender". She has already graced stages at major festivals such as Wireless, Reading & Leeds, Rolling Loud Portugal, and Parklife, performing in front of crowds of up to 80,000 alongside Dave - following her feature on his album - as the headliner. Since then, ShaSimone dropped her debut EP, "SIMMA DOWN" in 2022, collaborating with industry heavyweights like Dave, James Blake, Nia Archives, Beanie Man, Cristale, Kwengface, Lethal Bizzle, and prominent producers. She has also received support from BBC Radio 1Xtra's Kenny Allstar, Snoochie Shy, Tiffany Caliver, Capital Xtra's Rob Bruce, and Kiss Fresh's Ellie Prohan.
Sha started the year off with her infectious single "No Hands," inspired by Cardi B, and now Sha is ready for people to get to know the real her. 2024 is a new era for the Hackney musician, with Sha fully letting go of anger and bitterness and emerging at a place of happiness and ease.
