“We’ve seen groundbreaking achievements from the R&B and Hip-Hop worlds over the past year. We cannot wait to celebrate the incredible power players behind some of these unforgettable milestones. Our Hip-Hop LIVE event will continue this momentum by spotlighting the next wave of talent, taking the industry and our charts by storm. We couldn’t be more thrilled to have Teezo Touchdown, BossMan Dlow, and DJ Miss Milan join us this year and bring their diverse sounds to the stage,” said Hannah Karp, Billboard Editorial Director.
American singer songwriter Teezo Touchdown combines emotive vocals with stylish pop punk, R&B, rap, and wit, making defiant soundtracks for dreamers. His debut album, How Do You Sleep At Night?, reached No. 3 on the Heatseekers Albums chart and No. 22 on Alternative Albums upon debut and has boasted over 96 million streams with his solo catalog. Teezo’s shape-shifting sounds have earned him an expansive fan base and support from artists like Andre 3000, Drake, Travis Scott, Tyler, The Creator, and more, illuminating his presence as one of music’s most inventive new creators.
Breakthrough Florida rapper and Alamo Records artist BossMan Dlow burst into the scene in 2022 following the release of his deluxe debut album 2 Slippery, which charted on the Billboard 200. Mr. Beat The Road, his latest mixtape, debuted at #20 on the Billboard 200 after racking up over 37 million streams and has garnered over 515 million streams to date. Getting the most out of Dlow’s massive charisma, the 17-track album is also home to two Hot 100 songs: the certified-gold “Get In With Me,” which peaked at No. 49 and recently hit #1 at Urban radio, and “Mr Pot Scraper,” which peaked at No. 93. Recently named Billboard’s ‘Rookie Of The Month'' for June, and XXL magazine’s Freshmen Class of 2024, as well as a BET Awards nomination for ‘Best New Artist, Dlow has received cosigns from industry stalwarts like Rod Wave, Moneybagg Yo, Sexyy Red, Solange, Lil Baby, and more. The rising star is making a name for himself with his unexpected punchlines, sly flexes, and out-of-pocket pronouncements.
Setting goals for herself at the start of her career to work with artists led NYC-native DJ Miss Milan to become the DJ and hype girl for acts such as Justine Sky, Saweetie, and now, the official DJ to TDE’s first female rapper, Doechii. Recent success in her career has added to her resume, from performing for Beyonce’s Renaissance tour and Coachella Festival to opening up for Doja Cat on her sold-out arena tour and more.
