Albee Al: The 'Albee For President' anthem has me flexing political drip

Forget the presidential election, it’s all eyes on a New Jersey big flexer in the form of hip-hop artist Albee Al. The flexing isn’t slowing down anytime soon and with a full-fledged ‘Albee For President,’ why not dumb out on a repeat-worthy anthem?

Forget the presidential election, it’s all eyes on a New Jersey big flexer in the form of hip-hop artist Albee Al. The flexing isn’t slowing down anytime soon and with a full-fledged ‘Albee For President,’ why not dumb out on a repeat-worthy anthem?

Albee Al delivers with a certified ‘President’ anthem

It’s signature raps and pure confidence whenever it comes to Albee. But getting a full cinematic drop for ‘Albee For President’ too? Tough.

Albee Al starts his 2024 in a presidential way with his newest video, “Albee For President.” Albee Al makes it known in the song that he wants to bring the homies who struggled with him to the same presidential lifestyle that he lives.

Al raps, “Albee for president, shit got a ring to it. Look at my campaign, gang on the airplane. I left Dubai. I’m in the sky. and I’m drinking champagne.”

The video has Albee in the Oval Office rapping his proclamations. Albee gives insight into the fake love some people try to give him with the lines “You told me you love me, that shit was fake. How could I fall for it? Like, how could I fall for it? I had to ball for it. They told me I would never make it to the league, I was too small for it. I feel like a small forward.”

Al used to fight his way to the top in the Marion Projects out in Jersey City, New Jersey before his rap fame. His journey has been documented before on Sway In The Morning with Sway and Heather B. Gardner last year.

Those lines are coupled with the visual of Albee’s crew and beautiful women turning up in the Oval Office with him. He further raps about his presidential-like luxuries in life as different clips of political news play throughout the video. The new “Albee For President” song and visual is a single for his upcoming Albee For President album that drops Friday, January 26th.

Albee Al: The new 'I'm From Marion' album is stacked with anthems

Need some hard-hitting tunes? Look no further than New Jersey rap heavyweight Albee Al - fresh from putting out new music and he’s back-back with even more audio fire in the form of his new I’m From Marion studio effort.

Albee Al’s new ‘I’m From Marion’ album is now streaming everywhere

Albee goes hard when it comes to the wordplay and his latest studio effort has some certified guest features with Lil Tjay and Leaf Ward joining the fun.

Albee Al was dubbed the Jersey City Gladiator throughout his career, but specifically his home will always be Marion Projects. I’m From Marion is his declaration that anything is possible. The fourteen-track album covers his maturation from his humble beginnings in the projects to becoming one of EMPIRE’s many superstars.

His prior release Follow The Leader, set the tempo for Al’s 2023. In the single, he talked “boss talk” rapping about holding down a chick that was with him when he was down bad, being around beasts, and becoming the wolf to lead the pack.

And of course when it comes to cinema, Albee had to go all-out with his ‘Top Opp’ music video with Lil Tjay.

“Top Opp'' featuring Lil Tjay emphasizes never forgetting where you come from and keeping your head up in rough times. Albee opens his verse by revealing his pain due to his brother’s death. His pain can be felt as he raps about betrayal, keeping his mom fine during times of turmoil, and making everything he can happen from nothing. The visual, directed by Twizz Shot It, has Albee and TJay in the studio vibing and working on some music. Lil TJay raps about how he’s not wasting time on petty beef because he has million-dollar meetings to attend. He shares how he had a narrow road toward his goals and is not afraid to be in the superstar type of position he is in his career.

The features in the album include Leaf Ward, Lil Tjay, and Shani Boni. Earlier in the year, Albee Al and Leaf Ward were featured on “Risk Takers” by Millyz.

Albee Al keeps going strong-strong with his new 'I Could Take The Hate' music video

Granted, this could have easily slid into the VIDEOS section but when you’re back-back from doing a bid in prison, it’s the least shine to give to Albee Al - plus he’s representing for New Jersey so of course the respect is mutual. The hip-hop artist comes through with the visual treatment to his new ‘I Could Take The Hate’ anthem.

The hip-hop artist comes through with the visual treatment to his new ‘I Could Take The Hate’ anthem.

It’s all about Albee Al in ‘I Could Take The Hate’ music video

Riding around looking at the opps and also toasting to the good life, Al doesn’t hold back on his witty wordplay with his newest video. It’s non-stop turn up energy from Albee clocking in at over four minutes.

Fresh off the successful release of his album FREE THE REAL, Jersey’s own Albee Al continues to put in work with his new video for “I Could Take The Hate.” The video is a movie of Albee’s life with Albee turning up at the album’s listening party and his interview at Sirus XM.

“I Could Take The Hate” is a reflection of Al’s ability to overcome as he went from “state slides to Gucci slides on an island, [and] went from handcuffs to Rolexes, flooded diamonds.” Aside from rapping about shining like the star he is, he discusses paranoia about old friends betraying him and losing his brother. “Pray for me, you know I’m under a lot of pressure since I lost my brother, still ain’t pulled myself together, changing like the weather, hard to read who’s really down for me…”

He closes out the cinematic video by stating that when you’re comfortable with your own skin, nothing will bother you as you stack your bread up.

Albee Al's 'Free The Real' album is finally arriving next week

Jersey stand up? Of course the days of Joe Budden and Slaughterhouse might be done-done and Redman can’t represent the entire Garden State by his lonesome - so enter Albee Al and his new Free The Real album slated to arrive in the coming days.

Jersey stand up? Of course the days of Joe Budden and Slaughterhouse might be done-done and Redman can’t represent the entire Garden State by his lonesome - so enter Albee Al and his new Free The Real album slated to arrive in the coming days.

Albee Al’s ‘Free The Real’ album is dropping September 30

Following a stint behind bars, Albee is back-back with new tunes. From putting out ‘Thottie’ to getting the East Coast pumped for even more tunes, September 30 can’t come soon enough.

Jersey City's gladiator Albee Al is back with an emphatic seventeen-track album FREE THE REAL released through EMPIRE. On August 15th, Albee Al was released from Passaic County Jail after a three-year stint, and FREE THE REAL shows that Albee Al has not missed a beat. Albee’s album asserts his superstar status on “King of New Jersey” with the lines “I’m a shooter like Ginobli, better yet Kobe, gotta pay up if you owe me. I ride around with a thirty… I’m the King of New Jersey…”

Brooklyn’s own Rowdy Rebel joins Albee Al on the drill-type song “She F**k With A Gangsta” and Sacramento’s hip-hop king Mozzy delivers an introspective verse on “Cash Rules.” “Cash Rules” gives a nod to the famous Wu-Tang song C.R.E.A.M. as Al raps about what fuels his drive with the lines “Cash rules everything around me, CREAM, get the money, remember times when I ain’t had nothing, remember times when won’t shit in my stomach, so broke, felt punished…”

FREE THE REAL provides a juxtaposition between Albee’s superstar status and the recurring obstacles that hit him whenever he gets on a hot streak in his career. Like the gladiator spirit that Albee Al embodies, he rises above and obtains the throne by brute force.

In mid-August, Albee finally tasted freedom and didn’t waste time celebrating with his ‘Thottie’ single and music video.
