Freeway has had a very tough 12 months. The hip-hop star recently came forward just days after announcing his daughter’s death to remember his late son on the 1-year anniversary of his passing.
The Philadelphia native went to his Instagram page with some heartfelt words. He also shares a slideshow of pics showing his late son from childhood to his teenage years.
“I thank Allah for giving me the little strength and understanding that I have, because without it who knows where I would be at right now. Today marks one year since my son Jahad passed away.😢 I miss him & Love him dearly. I never thought in a million years that I would have to bury his sister almost one year later same month, days apart. It’s almost unbearable. I keep thinking to myself who am I to complain when our beloved prophet (SAW) lost children himself. Please keep my beautiful children & my family in your Duas. Thank you 🤲🏾🙏🏾💔💔❤️”

The same week, the Philly native returned to Instagram with some deep feelings about his close-knit bond with his late daughter Harmony. Free took things the religious route to try to find understanding in not having his daughter with him anymore.
“From my understanding of religion & Islam I truly believe in my heart of hearts ♥️ that Harmony will make it to Paradise, so that brings me Joy. I’m just so sad because I miss her so much 😢😢😢😢 have you ever been around a person that no matter what they’re going through they’re still always happy smiling and Hopeful, well that’s Harmony! Looking through my phone I can’t find a pic when she’s not smiling! Even in hospital beds! I Love her so much!!!!! it’s a Big hole in my ❤️ O & she’s so talented! We did this record a few months before her brother Jihad passed away & she killed it!! 🤲🏾💔❤️ Please keep both of my beautiful children in your duas!”
Freeway Announces Harmony’s Shocking Passing
In October 2021, Free broke the sad news to the masses. He dished on losing his daughter and shared footage from her 21st birthday.
“You know the saying sugar and spice and everything nice, well that’s my Harmony! ❤️ I promise y’all she was the sweetest most kind most caring generous loving adorable person I know. Allah Really blessed me putting her in my life. I love her so much and this hurts so bad 😢 this video was February of this year on her 21st birthday. Even though she was fighting cancer she was always happy and always smiling and she always brightened up my day. The only thing that’s giving me comfort is I know 100% that she believes in Allah and she was a good person. I truly believe she has everything it takes to enter into heaven. 🤲🏾🙏🏾❤️ Please keep her in your prayers & please ask God to show her comfort and mercy. Listen Life & Death is very real! cherish your love ones & keep them close to you because you never know, we are not promised our next breath. She truly was my best friend and I don’t know what I’m gonna do this pain is unimaginable. 😢💔”

Bow Wow gives T.I. his much-needed respect
Recently, rap veteran Bow Wow shared a clip of himself chopping it up with Tip. Bow credited T.I. for believing in him when others didn’t.
“Casual conversation w/ myself and my big bro @troubleman31…. Cant believe he told me what he told me backstage. This man believed in me when they doubted me. He taught me how to song write. Bro went from taking me to the southside to pick up my back then gf to haunted houses to becoming a legend himself! I get shy when people compliment me. Just not use to it. But yall peep this! 2 🐐”
