10Percent’s new album is repeat-worthy
The underground effort comes packed with anthems and caps off at 11 tunes altogether. From his Yo single to bodying the songs solo, there’s no holding 10 back on his new effort.
Today, CMG signee 10Percent announced the release of his new mixtape “Broke Before You Heard This,” which you can stream HERE on all platforms via CMG Records.
The mixtape includes the fan-favorite single “Major Payne,” which 10Percent recorded alongside his labelmate Moneybagg Yo. The pair teamed up to release a new music video earlier this week and the single appeared on CMG’s compilation album, Gangsta Art, that dropped in mid-July.
“Broke Before You Heard This” marks 10Percent’s first project release since signing with Yo Gotti’s record label earlier this year. In recent months, he unveiled singles such as “Worth Mo Dirty” and “Out The Blue” as he built his fanbase.
The Memphis native’s ascension started when he earned a coveted spot-on Yo Gotti’s new CM10: Free Game album with his standout verse on “Dolla Fo’ Dolla” in February 2022. They wound up releasing a visual for the collaboration and 10Percent wound up inking a deal with the Memphis mogul’s acclaimed CMG record label.
Most recently, 10Percent performed at “Yo Gotti & Friends Birthday Bash 8” that took place at the FedEx Forum in Memphis last month.

CMG’s Gangsta Art is now streaming everywhere
After some teasers and new tunes these past few weeks, Gotti hit the green light on putting out the star-studded LP to the masses. The studio release is stacked with everyone from Moneybagg Yo, Blac Youngsta, EST Gee, 42 Dugg, GloRilla, Blocboy JB, Mozzy, Lil Poppa, Big Boogie, Lehla Samia to 10Percent.
Beyond showcasing CMG’s heavyweight talent, “Gangsta Art” also highlights the rising stars of the label, with new music from GloRilla on the song “Tomorrow” as well as R&B songstress Lehla Samia’s collaboration with EST Gee on “Hood Rich.” Additionally, Big Boogie shines on “Keke” and “Meant Dat” while 10Percent showcases his skills alongside Moneybagg Yo on “Major Pain.”
The project also includes the recently-released “Steppas,” which features hard-hitting verses from Gotti, Moneybagg, Blac Youngsta, EST Gee, 42 Dugg, and Mozzy. It also includes Gotti, Moneybagg, Mozzy and Lil Poppa’s collaborative effort on “Big League,”which was tapped as the official song of the 2022 NBA Finals between the Golden State Warriors and the Boston Celtics.
It’s deeper than rap
It’s more than just putting out a new project. Gotti’s LP comes at the perfect time with his annual birthday celebration starting up today.
The new release also coincides with the long-awaited return of “Yo Gotti & Friends Birthday Bash 8” that will take place tonight, July 15th at FedEx Forum in Memphis, TN. Earlier this week, Gotti announced that Lil Uzi Vert would serve as one of the special guest performers at the show.
Fans can stream the show at 8 pm CT on the Amazon Music channel on Twitch, where Gotti and a surprise array of counterparts and collaborators will perform at the 8th installment of his acclaimed celebration.
“Gangsta Art” comes shortly after Gotti and the CMG label were featured on the cover of Billboard in May, where they were crowned “The Hardest-Working Label in Hip-Hop.”
