There’s no better way to geek out about August 24 than taking a look at what’s on deck for when you lace up those digital boots and arsenal of toys before going all-out on the gaming goals. Here’s a round up of what’s waiting on the horizon.
In Warzone beginning with Last Stand, Operators will notice Caldera’s biggest new feature the moment they take off for deployment: The island’s Peak has been transformed by increasing volcanic activity. Lava flows down its slopes, hardening into molten rock, altering the mountain’s geography in several locations from the top to its base.
Beware: Hot Lava! Watch your step when battling in and around the Peak. Stick your feet in the lava and you’ll start taking heavy damage. Get out at all costs!
Redeploy, Take a Ride. Take advantage of one of the many Redeploy Balloons set up around Caldera’s Peak to reposition in a pinch, or get away completely by taking control of one of the many vehicles found near the top.
Gondola Still Operable. A little magma won’t shut down this famed attraction. Take an easy ride to the top of the Peak as the rest of the Operators blast away at each other while playing hopscotch over lava flows.
Players will be challenged with saving Caldera in a Search and Destroy-inspired limited time mode that supports 80 players divided into 20 teams of four, whereby they can choose to either defuse or detonate various bombs throughout the island.
Last Stand also brings new ways to earn loot and conduct battle, from the Doomsday Station to the Rage Serum and other new items.

Is there any area of the entertainment game Snoop Dogg doesn’t invade? Turns out the legendary hip-hop artist’s presence is going to be all over Call of Duty this spring starting April 1.
Snoop Dogg’s in the Call of Duty universe
The hip-hop heavyweight is headed to all three COD games - Mobile, Vanguard and Warzone. The hype is real and Snoop’s already confirmed the big news.
"The D O Double G is back in Call of Duty and this time I’m in the freakin’ game! Excited to be working with the COD team to bring some fly features for you all to enjoy. It’s dope."
Snoop Dogg’s Lucky Draw
If you’re not really about the next generation gaming, the mobile version of Snoop is going to keep you locked and loaded on the fly. He’s set to appear in ‘Lucky Draw’ starting next month.
This Lucky Draw will include a Snoop Dogg Operator for Call of Duty: Mobile, which has him decked out head-to-toe in a 24K gold embroidered outfit. It also includes a new signature weapon based on a fast-firing Legendary SMG that’s gold-plated and diamond-encrusted. Light up your enemies under the lights of a mini-concert with this weapon’s unique death effect, and see your iced out weapon get even flashier as you earn eliminations. (COD)
Snoop Dogg’s Vanguard and Warzone
For everyone else, it’s all about the Xbox Series and PlayStation 5 experience. Snoop will have his presence felt all over the place with a major bundle set for mid-April.
Meanwhile, over in Call of Duty: Vanguard and Warzone, the Snoop Dogg Operator Bundle will be available on April 19 at 10 AM PT. And just so we’re clear on high-level details: the Snoop Dogg in Vanguard and Warzone is separate from the Snoop Dogg in Call of Duty: Mobile.
The Warzone and Vanguard Snoop Dogg Operator Bundle will include ten items — three exclusive to Vanguard — and a full Operator progression track. Rewards across these 20 levels of Operator progression include Weapon XP for Snoop’s preferred weapon from Vanguard, three alternate outfits, and other cosmetic items.
This won’t be the first time Snoop Dogg dropped into Call of Duty, as fans will remember his Snoop Dogg Voiceover Pack in Call of Duty®: Ghosts. Snoop’s voice — with all new lines recorded for his very own Operator — returns to Call of Duty in the Snoop Dogg Operator Bundle for Vanguard and Warzone.
Years ago, Snoop entered the world of Call of Duty with a voice over pack for Ghosts.

'Attack On Titan' is unloading in Call of Duty: Vanguard
Need more reasons to keep getting hyped up about everything going down in Call of Duty: Vanguard at the start of the new year? You can already tell there are tons of enhancements and perks simmered into the game but the biggest headline of the week has to be on iconic best-selling manga series ‘Attack on Titan’ gearing up for war.
Attack On Titan teams with Call of Duty: Vanguard
With the series’ final season being celebrated, it’s only right this collaboration is going down right now. It’s coming to Call of Duty: Vanguard and Warzone Pacific as part of the games’ first major update of the new year.
This epic collaboration will officially become available on January 20, approximately one week after a midseason update for Vanguard and Warzone Pacific that will include a new Operator, a new weapon, additional content for Zombies, various bug fixes, and more.
The Vanguard update will be available to download on January 11, at 9 PM PT, while the Warzone Pacific update can be downloaded starting on January 12 at 9 PM PT.
These will prepare both games for the first full day of Season One’s midseason update on January 13 at 9 AM PT.
The massive Attack On Titan store bundle
What’s a collaboration without an epic bundle? Look no further than the Tracer Pack: Attack on Titan - Levi Edition Bundle.
This 10-item Store Bundle is not just for superfans of the franchise; it has the style and firepower to become a leader among soldiers, just like Levi Ackerman.
One of the most notable additions to this Bundle is the “Titan Piercer,” a Weapon Blueprint that models the very blade that can slay Titans. Made of ultrahard steel, the only material that can cut through Titan flesh, this one-edge blade is more than capable of slicing through squads with ease.
Also available in the Bundle is the Legendary “Steel Cut” Finishing Move, as well as the Vanguard-exclusive “Vertical Maneuver” Highlight Intro and the “Ultrahard Steel” MVP Highlight.
The other two weapons in this Bundle are the Legendary “Historia” SMG and “Ymir Curse” Assault Rifle Weapon Blueprints, two firearms that are great additions to your Warzone Pacific or Vanguard Multiplayer and Zombies Loadouts.
More Operators are heading to Vanguard
Along with all of the ‘Attack On Titan’ hype, there’s a major operator addition coming courtesy of Isabella Rosario Dulnuan Reyes.
Isabella was trained in the martial arts as a young girl by her father. After his death, she continued to hone her skills on those who drove her into a local resistance. After the war, she joined Trident alongside Francis and Lewis to uncover Caldera’s secrets, acting as the close-quarters battle (CQB) specialist with extreme proficiency with a new weapon for the Vanguard arsenal.
Unlock Isabella by purchasing her Wild Rose Operator Bundle, which also includes two Legendary Weapon Blueprints.
Those who have all three members of Trident — Francis, Lewis, and Isabella — unlocked and leveled to the max can unlock a special Gold outfit for all three Operators, as well as a Platinum one if they have at least three other Task Forces maxed out to Level 20.
Call of Duty: Vanguard is your Thanksgiving break must-play
Okay, so hear me out. I know you all already probably prestiged like 4x already and that is cool. I have been out of the Call of Duty game for a while now. The Warzone was fine for a minute until I hit a player with way too many headshots for him not to go down, but instead they hit me with one and I go down. Yeah, I just calmly (not at all) put PlayStation 5 controller down and turned the game off. Retired THE SAME DAY!

Yeah, I just calmly (not at all) put PlayStation 5 controller down and turned the game off. Retired THE SAME DAY!
Then here comes Call of Duty: Vanguard. Every time I try to get out they pull me back in! The return to World War II and the zombies is usually the formula to bring me back. It tears me up inside most times. Vanguard brings in new elements to make the campaign even better as well. Much like in The Last of Us Part II, the introduction of dogs brings a new unique challenge to the first person shooter franchise. Those things are annoying, but the challenge of them made me enjoy the experience that much more.
The multiplayer is always going to be a draw. It’s Call of Duty, if you aren’t in the multiplayer or Warzone, why are you even here? I admit I am rusty, it showed. You all have no mercy. NONE! The new weapons, and dynamic maps made the gameplay more fun. Not much room for those campers which makes me happy. Those players make the gameplay dull. The maps force you to move and get in the mix.
The main reason Vanguard brought me back into the Call of Duty franchise, the perks system. New perks, new weapons, and much better load outs. The double experience points this weekend helped me level up a bit faster. The realism of having to move left to right with the blurry picture enhanced the realism. As someone who serves even I was impressed by this concept as this is a real thing. Moving target to target with this level of realism definitely is something not to be ignored.
Congratulations Activision, you won back this previously retired CoD player. Keep up the dope work! If you all want to catch me while I am still knocking this rust off on the PS5, hit me up, Gamertag: Proctorious or if you want to find me on the social media: IG: Rproctor23 Twitter: Zero2Hero I’ll see you all out there. Cop Call of Duty: Vanguard if you haven’t done so already. It’s a new experience with a similar WW2 vibe. Let me know what you think!
