Ready to go all-out on your streaming goals? Look no further than what’s brewing for hip-hop heavyweight Conway The Machine and a much-needed Slant Face Killah studio album loaded with repeat-worthy tunes.
Conway The Machine delivers with his ‘Slant Face Killah’ album
It’s more than just a few tunes for Conway. The Machine comes through with Wu-Tang’s Method Man and Raekwon, Joey Badass, Ab-Soul, Tech N9ne and Key Glock - just to name a few hitmakers.
Since the release of God Don’t Make Mistakes (2022), commercial breakthroughs have become the norm for The Machine; and all the while, he’s still been as prolific and revered as ever. That balance was never more apparent than in 2023, as it was Conway’s most commercial and critically successful year to date. In May of 2023, Conway released Wont He Do It (his second consecutive solo album to top the DSP charts) and with it launched a worldwide tour, he then spun the block with Conway The Machine Presents: Drumwork The Label, Speshal Machinery (with 38 Spesh), Palmero (with Wun Two), Conductor Machine (with Conductor Williams), and most recently Hall & Nash 2 with Westside Gunn & The Alchemist (which also topped the DSP Charts); and contributed standout appearances on Westside Gunn’s And Then You Pray For Me (#1 on DSP’s), Benny The Butcher’s Everybody Can’t Go (#1 on DSP’s), and BadBadNotGood’s “Mint Chocolate,” all in the span of one calendar year. Conway was also highlighted on Jay-Z’s Favorite Songs Of 2023 Playlist (“Dangerous Daringer” featuring Sauce Walka), and was recently nominated by XXL as a 'Lyricist Of The Year' Nominee.
The Machine is known for the quality and quantity of his output, and after a yearlong sabbatical in between solo projects, Conway is finally back with Slant Face Killah; which is now available!
Slant Face Killah features guest appearances and production from Raekwon, Swizz Beatz, Joey Bada$$, Method Man, Ab-Soul, Larry June, Stove God Cooks, Key Glock, Tech N9ne, Jay Worthy, The Alchemist, Conductor Williams, Daringer, Cool & Dre, Camouflage Monk, Cardo & Don Cannon.
Conway The Machine’s Slant Face Killah is now available via Drumwork/EMPIRE.

Spice 1 & Conway The Machine: The new album hype keeps growing with 'Crumbs With Bums'
I know April just hit but what better way to get pumped about what May has to offer than getting Spice 1 and Conway The Machine linking up for their ‘Crumbs With Bums’ anthem? It’s all types of must-hear and ignites the anticipation for the Platinum O.G.2 drop.

Spice 1 and Conway The Machine drop ‘Crumbs With Bums’ for the masses
It’s all types of replay value and quality production coming courtesy of Spice. With a star-studded line-up on deck for the new LP, 1 keeps the momentum brewing with the latest tune from his upcoming project.
A true O.G. and undisputed West Coast Royalty, after three prodigious decades in the game, Spice 1’s longevity, and influence speaks for itself. The Bay Area legend’s brand of vivid, raw and uncut lyricism, venting on the complexities of street life, has resulted in three Gold plaques, standout soundtrack singles (“Trigga Gots No Heart” from the award-winning Menace II Society Film), and respect from Hip-Hop’s elite; including making classics with Tupac, Too Short, MC Eiht, E-40, Method Man, Ice-T and UGK among others.
In the summer of 2019, Spice made a triumphant return with Platinum O.G., which debuted in the top 10 on DSP’s and included collaborations with comrades Too Short, Pimp C, MC Eiht, Kurupt, Devin The Dude, Tha Outlawz, Yukmouth (Luniz), Digital Underground’s Money B and more.
After announcing Platinum O.G. 2 with "Gangsta Shhh" featuring Snoop Dogg, Rick Ross & Q Bosilini, Spice 1 releases the sequel's second focus track, “Crumbs With Bums” featuring Conway The Machine. “Crumbs With Bums” is now available at all DSP’s. “I really wanted to collaborate with Conway for Platinum O.G. 2.” Spice 1 asserts. “I love what Griselda is doing and I knew Conway and I could really relate on giving some storytelling sh*t for the fans. That’s exactly what we did with “Crumbs With Bums.”
The chilling and powerful story-telling that separates Spice 1 from his peers is still in effect with Platinum O.G. 2. The album is narrated by Sway Calloway, and produced by N.O. Joe (Geto Boys, Scarface, UGK, Ice Cube, Devin The Dude, AZ, LL Cool J) & Ryan Elder; Elder who also executive produced the album states “I think Spice is the most underrated rapper of all time” he offers. “His significance and importance on the culture should be recognized. I truly care about preserving his legacy and would never do a sequel if I felt we couldn’t top the first one; and we did that. No one likes a bad sequel.”
Spice 1’s Platinum O.G.2 will be released on 5-3-24 and features appearances from Snoop Dogg, Rick Ross, Conway The Machine, DJ Premier, Paul Wall, Treach, MC Eiht, Devin The Dude, Bushwick Bill, KXNG Crooked, CL Smooth, Lil Flip, Sway Calloway and more.

38 Spesh and Conway The Machine’s new album has arrived
Whether it’s the hard-hitting production or the fire lyrics from both hip-hop heavyweights, the new LP demands replay value from start to finish.
Aligned with a similar set of core values, T.C.F. and Griselda have long maintained a mutual respect and prosperous working relationship with one another.
38 Spesh is coming off perhaps his biggest year ever in 2022, as he released fan favorites 7 Shots (which was highlighted by Kevin Durant as one of his top 5 albums of 2022 and even named Spesh his favorite rapper) and Beyond Belief with Harry Fraud.
Conway The Machine followed up his Shady Records major label debut, God Don’t Make Mistakes, with his recently released solo album, Won’t He Do It, and Drumwork’s first official label compilation Conway The Machine Presents: Drumwork The Album; on which Spesh & Conway provided a foreshadowing of things to come with “Lalo.”
Musically adjacent for nearly a decade now, after releasing the album's two focus tracks, “Latex Gloves” featuring Lloyd Banks, and “Goodfellas” featuring Benny The Butcher, Spesh & Conway’s Speshal Machinery is now available. Spesh & Conway also released a new video for the album’s title track as well, which can be viewed below.
“While a lot of fans associate me and Benny, Con and I have been doing songs together for over a decade too” 38 Spesh clarifies. “Speshal Machinery was a long time coming, and I think people are going to be astounded by our chemistry.”
Speshal Machinery features appearances from Benny The Butcher, Lloyd Banks, Pharoahe Monch, Che Noir, Elcamino & Emanny and is produced in its entirety by 38 Spesh and Jimmy Dukes.

Conway The Machine and Jae Skeese’s new album is must-hear
Jae and Con deliver must-hear anthems on their newly released project. While it’s less than 10 songs in total, each one slaps.
The first signee to Conway The Machine’s Drumwork Music Group imprint, Jae Skeese appeared on two songs on the deluxe version of Conway The Machine’s From King To A GOD, and the first single, “Blood Roses,” from La Maquina. Skeese continued his ascent by not only appearing (“Drumwork” with fellow signee 7xvethegenius) on Conway’s Shady Records debut album God Don’t Make Mistakes but also by contributing to the album’s rollout, as Skeese murked two different freestyles alongside Conway on Bootleg Kev and LA Leakers.

Busta Rhymes holds New York down with his new ‘Slap’ anthem
The Big Apple native holds both the city and Upstate New York down with his newest banger. From the audio appeal to the visual impact? It slaps.
Today, Busta Rhymes returns with a new single and music video for “Slap” featuring Buffalo recording-artist Conway the Machine and one of the most influential and skilled MCs in hip hop Big Daddy Kane via The Conglomerate Entertainment, Inc./EMPIRE.
In a dramatic entrance, Rhymes, Conway the Machine, and Big Daddy Kane step out of midnight black Maybach’s with an introduction by Funkmaster Flex. Directed by Drefilms and Rhymes, the visuals capture their New York City takeover as they rap over a classic cypher instrumental on loop. Rhymes opens “Slap” with a shout out paying respects to Biz Markie and PnB Rock ahead of his show stopping verse as he ends with, “Somebody polish my crown and put it back on my m*therf*kcin’ [head].” Conway the Machine acknowledges his impactful influence on music as he raps, “Hall of Fame and we just analyzing my old stats; Gliding on those tracks, my catalog in its entirety all slap.” Big Daddy Kane also hammers home his legendary status as he jumps in with, “In this story no one goes after me, I ain't the track so you hear last from me, don’t ask me to pass the mic that’s blasphemy.” “Slap” sets as a reminder to the current generation of rappers -- the trio are untouchable and will forever be respected as hip hop legends.
It’s more than a one and done for Rhymes. He’s staying extra busy these days touring the nation and having ample respect placed on his name.
Most recently, Rhymes toured alongside Wu-Tang Clan & Nas for their North American ‘NY State Of Mind Tour’ making stops at and guest starred on Dave Chappelle’s sold out Radio City Hall Music Hall tour. This past September, Rhymes was honored at the BMI Hip-Hop Awards receiving the Icon Award signifying his unique and unmatched influence on generations. Rhymes released his latest albumExtinction Level Event 2: The Wrath of God on October 30, 2020 achieving his 7th Top 10 record on Billboard’s 200 list which also peaked at #4 on US Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums. A star-studded follow up to his seminal 1998 three-time Grammy nominated, RIAA Certified Platinum album E.L.E. (Extinction Level Event): The Final World Front.

‘Helicopter Homicide’ hits super hard
Jay and Harry deliver in a huge way with their new banger. The record comes with vocal support courtesy of New York rapper Conway The Machine and Action Bronson BFF Big Body Bes.
“This track is real family here” Jay Worthy commented to Complex. “All organic, we bout to smack Em upside the head; love the feel of this one.”
‘Helicopter Homicide’ is a clash of three titans all in top form doing what they do best” Harry Fraud commented to Complex. “I wanted to make the beat something that was ever evolving so it could keep up with what these guys were inevitably going to do vocally… KILL S*IT.”
A little more than a new song
It’s way bigger than dropping ‘Helicopter Homicide’ to the world. Jay and Harry are gearing up to drop a new studio album to the masses at the start of next month.
Jay Worthy and Harry Fraud have a long-standing collaborative history. Even as established in the industry as they both are, a lot has transpired since the last time they connected, Eat When You’re Hungry, Sleep When You’re Tired (2020), and there’s little debating that both artists have experienced a major level up in between.
Both Jay and Harry have seen their profiles raised exponentially. Jay Worthy has since signed with Griselda Records, appeared on Isaiah Rashad’s The House Is Burning (“True Story”), released a new project with LNDN DRGS (Burnout 4), and collaborated with Larry June on the breakout 2 P’z In A Pod.
Harry Fraud has been equally as busy. Since Eat When You’re Hungry, Harry has produced chart-topping projects for Curren$y (The OutRunners), Dave East (Hoffa), Lil Peep (High Fashion), Benny The Butcher (The Plugs I Met 2), Jim Jones (The Fraud Department) and French Montana (Montega).
Now, Jay and Harry have officially announced their new forthcoming re-formation with You Take The Credit, We’ll Take The Check, which will be released on 8-5-22. In addition, they have released the project's first single, “Helicopter Homicide” featuring Conway The Machine and Big Body Bes. “Helicopter Homicide” was exclusively premiered by Complex.

Flee knows this is a certified anthem
Instead of geeking out over social media, Flee’s already issued a statement on the new tunes. Specifically, Lord talked about piecing together the hip-hop heavyweights to the must-hear record.
“Me and Mephux were building on ideas for PFTE3 and Meph played me the “Final Four” beat and I knew immediately that Conway and Roc would sound so dope on it. They always show me love and jumped on the track” Flee Lord commented to Complex. “After we finished recording the project and we were putting the finishing touches on it, Trae happened to be in town and he pulled up to our session and kicked it. We played Trae the track (still untitled at that time) and he asked if it was done? Me and Meph were like it’s not done if you’re jumping on it and Trae went in and drummed that shit down. Salute to DJ Premier and Havoc! Once Trae was on it, the title of the song was clear---“Final Four.”

Conway The Machine Tells Apple Music About Opening His Album with Beanie Sigel on “Lock Load”…
I just wanted to set the tone with something that's just kind of that feel that my fans from before the Shady deal, before any of this shit, when they was enjoying my music for that. That spooky sound and shit me and Daringer do beautifully. I wanted to set the tone of first shit up, knock it out the park on some shit like that. And then I kind of connected with Beans on some other type real shit. You know what I mean? Real n***a time. That's the big homie. Plus I always been a real big Sigel fan, and I respected his pen always. So when we connected, and it was just love. We spent a few days together in the studio and we cooked up a couple things. And I'm just like, "Yo, I got to have you on this joint." Actually, I was just playing the album for him and that's the first song he heard. Like, "Man, shit, load that up." He wanted to get on that, And I just was like, "Man, shit, let's get it.”
Conway The Machine Tells Apple Music About His Recovery After Being Shot in 2012 and How Rap Saved His Life...
I wouldn't go nowhere, and I wouldn't even try to get better or try to walk. My mind was just... I just gave up. And just one day... I really don't remember what day it was, man. I think it was after. Because I had the bullet stuck in my neck for a year and a half maybe. And that shit start moving, so that shit was kind of up here and where my doctor seen that shit. And he had to immediately like, "We got to go get you in surgery.” And so I got the bullet out, and I took a cab from the hospital to DJ Shay's studio..And I'm just like, "Throw a beat on. I just want to see." I had the patch on my shit, blood shit soaking through the patch. And I recorded a song. I forget... Shay got that song, and I was just rapping. It wasn't even no song. It was just a verse. And I heard how it sound, and I was like, "Yo, this shit really ain't that bad.” And I would just start going over there all the time, every day. And that was the shit actually getting me out the house. Rap saved my life, for real.
Conway The Machine Tells Apple Music About Working With The Alchemist…
Al, man, that's just my brother, man. You feel me? He's a big bro. There ain't never a time where I ain't reach out when I'm around his neighborhood, and I got a extra room or a couch to crash on. He always makes sure I'm good, checks on me, pull up to everything, and just been showing Griselda n***a's love from the beginning. He was the first n***a that I know was tweeting and really putting n***s on to this shit. Man, you know what I'm saying? Prodigy played him some shit show. There's some YouTube videos and shit. And he like, “N***a, what the fuck is this" on Twitter. And he ain't even know our Twitter names. He just like... And so people was just tagging us like, “N***a." And it's the Al, so it's a good guy, man. I love Al, man. Shout out to Al and these two that we cooked up on here. It's crazy, crazy records.
Conway The Machine Tells Apple Music About Continuing To Evolve With Age…
It's all about the mentality. It's the mind state, man. And it's like, your life can be changed. Sometimes it's just as simple as a change in your mentality, and you're changing your life. You're moving different. You're eating better. You're sleeping better. You're working harder. You're working smarter. Sometimes just as simple as, "Man, I got to change how I think, because if I'm still on the same dumb shit I was on when I was in my 20s or in my teens, then no matter what I get, I'm going to fuck it up. I'm going to still have the same results." So I just try to keep that in mind. Man, I don't want be the wisest man in the room. You know what I'm saying? If I'm the wisest man in the room, I'm in the wrong room.

Conway The Machine’s ‘God Don’t Make Mistakes’ album is here
After mounted anticipation, Conway hit the green light on releasing his new LP Friday (February 25) and the follow-up to 2020’s From King To A GOD.
God Don’t Make Mistakes is not only Conway The Machine’s major-label debut, it’s also his de-facto origin story. To touch souls, you must first reveal your own, and listening to Conway’s God Don’t Make Mistakesis akin to reading entries in his notes app; vulnerable and reflective; questioning decisions, and wrestling with his own demons and inner-turmoil, while simultaneously celebrating life, love, and loss. It’s an autobiographical window into Conway’s soul; the trails, the obstacles, the tribulations, and the trauma from a shooting that resulted in him being shot in the head, and with it, the debilitating Bells Palsy diagnosis that he has suffered from since, which resulted in him having to re-learn how to speak and completely reinventing the way he would rap. It’s a thoroughly captivating timeline, and one that you can’t help but become immersed in; it’s intimately Conway The Machine; because God Don’t Make Mistakes.
It’s all about the fans
Conway has since issued a statement on the importance of getting the new LP out to the masses and - most notably - his true day ones.
“It was tough opening up doors that I haven’t opened up in a while. This is my story and sharing it all with the world is different for me, but I was happy to do it” Conway states. “I know fans will love it.”
The non-stop Griselda grind
In just two years, Conway has remained committed to putting out studio fire and taking his talent to live performance stages and memorable spots on other artists’ studio albums.
The road to Conway The Machine’s Shady Records debut album has been eventful and incredibly redemptive. His prelude project, From King To A GOD (2020), was universally hailed and received “Best Album Of The Year” accolades from influential outlets such as the New York Times, Complex, Pitchfork, Noisey, Hotnewhiphop & Uproxx among many other esteemed outlets. Conway and Griselda’s run in 2020 was so epic, they took up acreage on Jay-Z's Yearly Tidal Playlist, Stereogum had to create an entirely separate year-end playlist just to chronicle their greatness and Conway capped off the year with his inventive NPR Tiny Desk Concert.
Building anticipation for God Don’t Make Mistakes, Conway’s 2021 included a rousing performance of “Scatterbrain” on ‘The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon’ featuring J.I.D. and Ludacris, the honor of contributing a verse too, “Hood Blues,” which was selected as the lead-single for DMX’s posthumous album Exodus, a headlining performance at the Jay-Z curated ‘Made In America’ Festival, a collaborative single with Jay-Z and Jadakiss, “King Kong Riddim” (from The Harder They Fall OST) and a standout performance (“Keep My Spirit Alive”) on Kanye West’s DONDA.
