Rostrum Records and DryBoy team up
While details are still coming together, it’s clear DryBoy is officially inked with Rostrum Records moving forward. With a growing buzz and big expectations, the new relationship will show sky’s the limit.
DryBoy is an emerging artist with a genre-blending mixture of alternative pop-rock, punk and emo hip-hop with elements of his Latin roots. His first release, “Summer Nights” in 2019, garnered over 15MM streams and his latest single, “Bad Habits” premiered on WorldStar and was playlisted on Apple Music’s “The Nerve” - leading to him amassing over 1.2MM total views on Youtube. In addition, he’s toured with multi-Grammy award winning rapper Lil Durk, along with G Herbo, YBN Nahmir and others. Fans can expect his first release with Rostrum Records to drop this Fall.
Edith Bo, Head of A&R said: “Dryboy is a genre blending artist who exemplifies Rostrum’s core values. He’s also a talented songwriter, guitarist and producer who’s been honing in on his skills from a young age, and is ready to begin releasing new music which we’re thrilled to be a part of.”
Celebrating 20 years in 2023, Rostrum Records has focused its year on growth under new President, Erika Montes, who took the reins from Founder Benjy Grinberg at the beginning of the year. DryBoy joins recent signee Fat Nick who released his debut album Hello I’m Vulnerable with the independent label. This Summer, Rostrum also dropped its first-ever documentary, Top Shelf 1988, named after its first project which celebrates the historical era in hip hop. Additionally, Founder and CEO Grinberg launched Rostrum Pacific, a parent company to incorporate an expanding portfolio of premium entertainment properties.
