Kanye West’s Trying To Secure $11 Million For Wyoming Ranch

According to reports, Ye is determined to get his Monster Lake Ranch off his hands for good. Located outside the city of Cody, the decision to put the location on the market comes more than 2 years after he copped it in September 2019.

As we reported ... it wasn't clear if Kanye paid the full $14 mil back then, but whatever he paid bought him 4,500 acres and a lot more than a mule. The Ranch comes with 8 lodging units and is known for "monster trout" fishing. There are also 2 freshwater lakes, a restaurant, an event center, meeting facilities, and of course ... a whole lotta horse barns and corrals. You may recall ... not long after Kanye bought Monster Lake, he dropped another $14 mil for another Wyoming property -- Bighorn Mountain Ranch. (TMZ)

Kanye West + Drake Might Agree On The Same Thing

OVO Sound boss Drake and Kanye West might not be hitting the studio together anytime soon but there’s at least one thing they’re in agreement on. The hip-hop pair are reportedly using their resources to help push for the release of Chicago street legend Larry Hoover.

Recently, Rap-A-Lot Records founder J. Prince went to his social media pages this past weekend to break the news to everyone. While details are slim, JP tagged both Drizzy and Ye in reference to helping get Hoover released from prison.

“IF YOU FAIL TO PLAN YOU PLAN TO FAIL. Good plans in the making to free our brother Larry Hoover with the support of @champagnepapi and @kanyewest#TheArtandScienceOfRespect

While Drake is connected to Prince through over a decade of having a close-knit relationship, Ye’s involvement might be a bit more personal. Yeezy has publicly acknowledged his support for Larry over the years and even referenced him in his music.

Kanye, who later re-posted Prince’s IG on his own account, has long been advocating for Hoover’s clemency. Back in 2018, West met with former president Donald Trump to ask for the 70-year-old’s release from prison. “There’s infinite amounts of the universe and there’s alternate universe,” Kanye said at the time. “So it’s very important for me to get Hoover out because in an alternate universe, I am him and I have to go and get him free.” (Complex)

Kanye West Is Still No. 1 Whether Drake Likes It Or Not

Drake might be a Certified Lover Boy but he’s not the top global artist in the game right now. His on-again, off-again mentor and idol Kanye West recently held down the crown as the top Global Digital Artist.

According to late September 2021 reports, the artist formerly known as Kanye West - simply going by ‘Ye’ these days - was the top global artist in the digital sphere. We’re not just talking hip-hop, this includes all genres.

Kanye West’s ‘Donda’ Album Is Still Evolving To This Day

Grammy-winning rapper Kanye West’s Donda album is far from complete. The hip-hop star is reportedly still making changes and edits to the studio project’s overall sound.

Kanye West’s ‘Donda’ Album Is Still Evolving

According to reports, the power of streaming services has allowed Ye to switch up how the album has formed. While details are still coming together, there are some noticeable changes including the disappearance of crooner Chris Brown’s presence.

The tweaked version started appearing on streaming services late Monday into Tuesday and was swiftly spotted (and just as swiftly dissected) by fans, including—among others—the folks over at Watching the Throne. A listen through the new version of the album—which, at the time of this writing, was showing up as a separate album on Spotify and Apple Music—reveals noticeable mixing changes on several songs. Most notable is the removal of Chris Brown from “New Again” and KayCyy from “Keep My Spirit Alive.” (Complex)

SZA Co-Signs Kanye West Firing His ‘Donda’ Engineer

West Coast crooner SZA knows how the business works. She recently went online to share a post addressing the stricter side of greatness and how a creative's process works. The Top Dawg Entertainment star put a post up on her Instagram Story regarding the firing of a Donda engineer by Kanye West for sleeping in hours late. Her post addressed how sacrifices are made for greatness and how the process is never an easy one.

Kanye West Fires His Engineer

The music mogul has no time for games, hence the reason for SZA’s post. After an iCloud hack, new texts have emerged of a Donda engineer getting the boot after being unable to pull up for a music grind due to sleeping in late.

Kanye reportedly texted the engineer in the morning to get working, but he never received a response. Two hours later he sent another text about firing the person on the receiving end, to which they responded about not waking up in time. Mr. West then hilariously told them to “stop texting” and “go find God,” which he added would be the one condition in which they could come back.

Jadakiss’ Son Played Role In The LOX + Ye Collabo

Most people are so grateful for the opportunity that they wouldn’t let themselves be late to working with Kanye. New York rapper Jadakiss is surely thankful, and actually might have his son to thank for helping the stars align with The LOX and Yeezy appearing on the newly released Donda album. The hip-hop veteran has provided context into how the unexpected collaboration went down.

In a new interview, Kiss dished on just how the must-hear “Jesus Lord Pt. 2” anthem went down. He even talked about Ye’s August 6 Donda listening event.

“Someone from Ye’s camp actually reached out to my older son – then Ye called us the next day after Verzuz, he hit me the next morning. We flew straight there and went straight to the studio and knocked the song out. Then went and rested and came back the next day and went to the event and flew back. … It was a different experience for us, but it was super dope.” (HHDX)
