Iman Nunez comes through with his hard-hitting ‘Current Location’ anthem
The song is loaded with lyricism and signature high energy from Nunez. But he takes things the extra mile going all-in with a cinematic music video clocking in at just under two minutes.
Yonkers rapper Iman Nunez has produced his new single, “Current Location!” In his new song, listeners can explore the lyricism that Iman continues to share: expressing loyalty, not needing acceptance, and proving others wrong. He reflects on how he second-guesses people’s actions as “Current Location” dives into the truths of a relationship requiring a test of loyalty.
Iman raps, “Loose tongues can’t hang around me, we cut them off, incisions. Same game, just new emotions. New lanes with newer potions. New money means newer motion… can’t make you understand I’m out for blood. Same time I was looking out for a couple of peers and was left in dust, broke the bank just to up the ranks in a different state until I pulled the plug…”
The single is produced by Haysuse and mixed by Mike Kuz. In the video, Directed By: Isaiah Sosa & Iman Nunez, Shot & Edited By: TwentyTwoTime, Iman can be seen riding around different parts of Yonkers, telling his story.

Iman Nunez delivers with his newest single
The song goes hard from start to finish delivering memorable lines from the rap lyricist. Add in Camp Audio production, too? Super tough.
Yonkers emcee Iman Nunez is delighted to announce the release of his latest single, “I Got Time,” produced by Camp Audio. Iman gets straight to the point in the two-minute song. He uses that time to get things off his chest, such as his current status in music and assessing who’s around him.
Iman raps, “Too many debts with some people that ain’t never really been ‘bout it. Too busy watching my pockets with hoes they can see how I really just got it. Doubled up profits, no sweat, it’s just time to stop calling my phone, no I don’t got it… Got the appeal, the moment’s been real, I just got up out of the deal. I run it back, and I double my stacks and laughing to the bank…
Camp Audio comprises three producers: @levygrey, @lifeofthom & @jamesburnsbeats on Instagram. “I Got Time” was mixed by @mike_kuz. @bthevisionary & @drehartwell made the cover art. Iman Nunez can be found on Instagram @imannunez

Iman Nunez: The unexpected 'What's Next?' 2-pack is must-hear
Normally I would slide this type of post into the PREVIEWS, REVIEWS & MORE section but Iman Nunez has remained gritty and non-stop grinding for the past few months and has earned some major spotlight. The new What’s Next? studio effort hits different and comes as a much-needed two-pack.

Iman Nunez’s new ‘What’s Next?’ 2-pack has arrived
The bars are always precise but the production? Hard-hitting and super on point getting things rolling with ‘Growing Pains’ and then setting the entire tone with ‘Coast.’
After a cross-country tour to start off 2023, Iman Nunez asks himself, What’s Next? Prior to the two-track project and his tour, he released his prior EP Rosedale, which gained notoriety from various platforms in the tri-state area. The two-song pack “What’s Next?” contains the songs “Growing Pains” featuring Dizzy Banko and “Coast.”
“Growing Pains” focuses on maturing and breaking free from environments that held him down. He opens the song with the lines, “I love your soul but I cannot have you around me. I’m working to be better than I am, and you’re just stuck on who I was so I can’t have you drown me. No disrespect, but we ain’t kids no more and now I got more people I’m providing for…”. Iman raps about his awareness of people watching him succeed on “Coast.” His blunt honesty about his journey toward superstardom is supplemented by his confident flow. Iman states his values as being his family and the bag; anything else that isn’t that is irrelevant to him.

Iman Nunez delivers with his new ‘Rosedale’ album
It’s the ultimate tease with only six tunes on the album but Iman makes each one count. Nunez’s new studio effort features collaborations and signature production plus witty wordplay.
The young Yonkers emcee Iman Nunez is no stranger to self-reflection. Rosedale is a lyrical journal of what Nunez ponders about his personal life while he reaches his goals. His latest single “Pieces” featuring Annalise Azadian is an example. “Pieces” reflected on the aftermath of a breakup and the struggle between holding on and moving on. The single was well received on Rap Radar along with the lyric video that visually shows the emotions and personal moments discussed in the song.
Iman’s rapping ability is displayed in different ways from the introspective “Pieces” to the cutthroat single “Northeast” with DJ Steph Cakes where Iman raps on how his competition projects their insecurities onto him due to their lack of skill and drive. The production of “Northeast” is a strong contrast compared to the other songs on the six-track project as it shows a more competitive side of Iman.
