About Russ:
Thirty-one-year-old multi-platinum rapper, singer songwriter, producer and best selling author Russ walks his own path, at his own pace. In his 10+ years of releasing music, Russ has developed an extensive catalog of music that has collectively surpassed over 22 billion career streams and 25 million singles sold to date. By doing so, he’s proved that he doesn’t need a major label, making the Forbes “30 Under 30” list in 2019, selling out arenas across the U.S. and around the globe, and becoming one of the most popular engaged rappers and thought leaders in the world right now. His method is simple: love and believe in yourself absolutely and work hard no matter what. In his best-selling self-help book “It’s All In Your Head,” Russ inspires readers to walk to their individual rhythms and beat their biggest obstacles: themselves.
Known for his unique rollout of dropping new singles every few weeks and producing his own tracks, Russ’ album There’s Really A Wolf released in 2017 is now RIAA certified 2x platinum and spent 84 weeks on the Billboard 200 albums chart with standout singles “What They Want” and “Losin Control.” His albums SHAKE THE SNOW GLOBE and Zooadditionally hit the Billboard 200 chart and are now RIAA certified gold. Russ has an incredibly loyal fan base, with his song “3:15 (Breathe)” hitting a peak of over one million daily streams in 2023 when it was originally released in 2021. In 2022, a champion for independent artists, Russ launched his indie label DIEMON (an acronym for “Do It Everyday Music Or Nothing”) with partner and longtime collaborator Bugus Thompson. With DIEMON, Russ launched artist Ktlyn after her remix of his platinum single “Handsomer” went viral, inspiring the open-verse trend on TikTok.
Last summer, Russ released his deeply introspective album SANTIAGO, which debuted at #12 on the Billboard 200 chart and explores Russ’ journey of self-approval, finding his self-worth, self-love, and moving on from seeking validation from others. He brought his immersive world of SANTIAGO to his fans, holding pop-ups across the country through an entirely self-funded and self-executed marketing strategy. Russ also released a short film inspired by the album also titled SANTIAGO, which debuted over a 2-night special event in 88 theaters across the US and UK.
Russ’ artistry knows no bounds, crossing over from his usual rap/hip-hop style to going acoustic with single “Drives” and even orchestral with a remix of his songs “Drives,” “Psycho Pt. 2,” and “3:15 (Breathe)” recorded live with Strings From Paris. Russ is always releasing new music, having recently dropped his new single “In The Dirt.” He’s performed on some of the world’s largest stages and wowed audiences – including performing “Patience” on Jimmy Kimmel Live! - watch HERE.

Albee Al: The 'Albee For President' anthem has me flexing political drip
Forget the presidential election, it’s all eyes on a New Jersey big flexer in the form of hip-hop artist Albee Al. The flexing isn’t slowing down anytime soon and with a full-fledged ‘Albee For President,’ why not dumb out on a repeat-worthy anthem?
Forget the presidential election, it’s all eyes on a New Jersey big flexer in the form of hip-hop artist Albee Al. The flexing isn’t slowing down anytime soon and with a full-fledged ‘Albee For President,’ why not dumb out on a repeat-worthy anthem?
Albee Al delivers with a certified ‘President’ anthem
It’s signature raps and pure confidence whenever it comes to Albee. But getting a full cinematic drop for ‘Albee For President’ too? Tough.
Albee Al starts his 2024 in a presidential way with his newest video, “Albee For President.” Albee Al makes it known in the song that he wants to bring the homies who struggled with him to the same presidential lifestyle that he lives.
Al raps, “Albee for president, shit got a ring to it. Look at my campaign, gang on the airplane. I left Dubai. I’m in the sky. and I’m drinking champagne.”
The video has Albee in the Oval Office rapping his proclamations. Albee gives insight into the fake love some people try to give him with the lines “You told me you love me, that shit was fake. How could I fall for it? Like, how could I fall for it? I had to ball for it. They told me I would never make it to the league, I was too small for it. I feel like a small forward.”
Al used to fight his way to the top in the Marion Projects out in Jersey City, New Jersey before his rap fame. His journey has been documented before on Sway In The Morning with Sway and Heather B. Gardner last year.
Those lines are coupled with the visual of Albee’s crew and beautiful women turning up in the Oval Office with him. He further raps about his presidential-like luxuries in life as different clips of political news play throughout the video. The new “Albee For President” song and visual is a single for his upcoming Albee For President album that drops Friday, January 26th.
Albee Al: The new 'I'm From Marion' album is stacked with anthems
Need some hard-hitting tunes? Look no further than New Jersey rap heavyweight Albee Al - fresh from putting out new music and he’s back-back with even more audio fire in the form of his new I’m From Marion studio effort.
Need some hard-hitting tunes? Look no further than New Jersey rap heavyweight Albee Al - fresh from putting out new music and he’s back-back with even more audio fire in the form of his new I’m From Marion studio effort.
Albee Al’s new ‘I’m From Marion’ album is now streaming everywhere
Albee goes hard when it comes to the wordplay and his latest studio effort has some certified guest features with Lil Tjay and Leaf Ward joining the fun.
Albee Al was dubbed the Jersey City Gladiator throughout his career, but specifically his home will always be Marion Projects. I’m From Marion is his declaration that anything is possible. The fourteen-track album covers his maturation from his humble beginnings in the projects to becoming one of EMPIRE’s many superstars.
His prior release Follow The Leader, set the tempo for Al’s 2023. In the single, he talked “boss talk” rapping about holding down a chick that was with him when he was down bad, being around beasts, and becoming the wolf to lead the pack.
And of course when it comes to cinema, Albee had to go all-out with his ‘Top Opp’ music video with Lil Tjay.
“Top Opp'' featuring Lil Tjay emphasizes never forgetting where you come from and keeping your head up in rough times. Albee opens his verse by revealing his pain due to his brother’s death. His pain can be felt as he raps about betrayal, keeping his mom fine during times of turmoil, and making everything he can happen from nothing. The visual, directed by Twizz Shot It, has Albee and TJay in the studio vibing and working on some music. Lil TJay raps about how he’s not wasting time on petty beef because he has million-dollar meetings to attend. He shares how he had a narrow road toward his goals and is not afraid to be in the superstar type of position he is in his career.
The features in the album include Leaf Ward, Lil Tjay, and Shani Boni. Earlier in the year, Albee Al and Leaf Ward were featured on “Risk Takers” by Millyz.
Russ' 'If Not Now, When' surprise EP deserves ample replays

It’s only four songs deep but my goodness does Russ deliver with his surprise If Not Now, When EP. The project hits different and arrives right before his world tour as an unexpected and much-appreciated audio gift to his day ones.
Russ’ new EP deserves ample replays
The project officially arrived this past Tuesday but when you’re dealing with Russ, is there ever a wrong time to listen up? This is going to receive repeat mode nods through at least the start of May.
RUSS dropped a new EP as a gift to his fans right before his world tour called “If Not Now, When?” The EP is fully produced by Russ himself and will consist of 4 songs: “Star,” “Waves,” “Back from London Freestyle,” and “Never Again.”
This comes off the heels of Russ rebranding his world tour to: THE JOURNEY IS EVERYTHING TOUR and announcing collaborator KTYLN joining as tour support alongside BIA & BUGUS.
After San Diego Native KTLYN joined Handsomer for the remix, within a few weeks of it’s release the single hit #1 across all genres on I-tunes, #6 on US Spotify chart, debuted at #1 on the weekly Digital Song Sales Chart with an up of 636% in sales, sat #1 on Billboard’s Week of March 19th hits, and Currently sits @ #40 on Billboard Hot 100 jumping 20 spots in just a week!
Russ’ non-stop grind
Over the past 12 months, Russ has remained committed to bossing up. The hip-hop star even put together his very own record company called DIEMON Records back in March.
This isn't the first time we are seeing RUSS exercising his A&R chops as he recently A&R his whole CHOMP 2 EP with notable names such as Snoop Dogg, Westside Gunn, Joey Bada$$, Big Sean, Jadakiss, Hitboy, Wale, and even a verse from the elusive Jay Electronica. This also won't be his last time A&R ing a record with an exciting announcement coming in Q2.
In December 2021 Russ dropped CHOMP 2 the follow-up to his critically acclaimed EP CHOMP. The sequel boasts a host of rap-heavy hitters and celebrated producers. Arguably making a run for Best album rap album of year the project went on direct sale to fans for $4 and was able to sell over 7,000 units in just a few days - this not including streaming downloads. You can read more about the project from the street week press run he did for CHOMP 2: Ebro, LA leakers, Breakfast Club, and Rory & Mal.
Hits on hits on hits
He’s not just doing it by himself. The hip-hop crooner has put out impressive collaborations with some of the biggest names in both the R&B and gritty rap side of the culture.
His first single of 2021 ”Ugly” ft. Lil Baby is the No.1 added song to urban radio, and single “Take You Back” ft. Kehlani currently sits at #39 on radio charts. Other 2021 releases include “Own My Masters” by Jackboy Ft Russ, “Fck Boys” by Blxst Ft. Russ, “Hard for Me”, “Misunderstood” video and single, “SMALL TALK” single, and “BANKRUPT” single and music video with accompanying merch.
These singles follow the success of Russ and Bia’s RIAA platinum-certified viral hit “Best on Earth,” which has over 400 million streams worldwide to date off his final studio albumSHAKE THE SNOW GLOBE (DELUXE) released top of last year. He then surprised fans by releasing his first independent project “CHOMP EP” ft. Busta Rhymes, BlackThought, Benny the Butcher, Alchemist and more a few months later. Changing lanes Russ also dropped a book last year called “IT’S ALL IN YOUR HEAD,” where he reflects on the lessons he’s learned from his career, family, and relationships. In the book he pushes readers to bet on themselves, take those leaps of faith, and recognize struggles as opportunities.

Lady London's invading NY's famous S.O.B.'s and we can't wait to see her live
It’s one thing to hear your favorite hip-hop artists on a digital streaming platform but it’s an entirely different experience when you see them live up to the hype in-person. For fortunate folks in the New York City area this Saturday (February 19), the chance to see rap spitter Lady London throw it down at the legendary S.O.B.’s - you know, the place Drake had everyone losing it at the start of his career - is a no-brainer.
