Exactly ten years to the date of “Power” first launching on STARZ with its June 7, 2014 premiere, STARZ will air the premiere episode of the fourth and final season of its hit series “Power Book II: Ghost.” “Power Book II: Ghost” was the first spinoff in the expansion of the greater “Power Universe,” which followed Tariq St. Patrick. Two more spinoffs included “Power Book III: Raising Kanan,” exploring the early life of Kanan Stark and “Power Book IV: Force” following franchise-favorite Tommy Egan. Additionally, STARZ recently announced plans to expand the Power universe with the development of a new prequel series, “Origins,” that will continue to explore the “Power” universe in a fresh way, delving into the origin story of fan favorite characters Ghost and Tommy.
In season four of “Power Book II: Ghost” new alliances have been formed with each faction and Tariq and Brayden must find a way back into the game. But Brayden starts flirting with a new, reckless lifestyle, leaving Tariq to wonder if there really is room for two at the top. With Monet left for dead, Davis facing potential disbarment, and Effie looking to secure her future at Stanford, everyone’s on their own. Diana and Dru continue to question their roles while Cane levels up and starts working with Noma. As Noma is fighting to establish her business in the States and keep her daughter Anya in line, she finds her way on Tariq and Brayden’s radar. With the fate of his future in the game and his family at the forefront, Tariq must reconcile his past to rise to the top of the food chain and become who he needs to be to protect those he loves most.

‘The Greater Good’ is all about trying to maintain
The third episode of STARZ’s “Power Book II: Ghost” season two premieres on Sunday, December 5, at 8 pm. In “The Greater Good,” Tariq (Michael Rainey Jr.) tries to keep CourseCorrect from going under. While Diana’s (LaToya Tonodeo) wary of Cane’s (Woody McClain) motives, Dru’s (Lovell Adams-Gray) distracted by his heart, and Zeke’s (Daniel Bellomy) future is put at risk, everyone is wondering, where’s Monet (Mary J. Blige)?
In case you need a refresher on where things stand in ‘Power Book II: Ghost’ season two, here’s a quick rundown.
POWER Book II: Ghost” begins its second season with Tariq St. Patrick still running from a legacy that haunts him. Forced into the choice to take the life of his professor, Jabari Reynolds, Tariq finds himself drifting further from that which he’s been fighting to protect: his family. With Tasha in witness protection, Tariq knows he must sacrifice anything to save what’s left of his family. Unable to do it alone, he turns to those wielding power and influence: Davis MacLean and his new partner, Cooper Saxe, as well as Rashad Tate. Of course, all of these options come with a steep price. So, it’s back to business with the Tejadas. But now with two murders involving Stansfield, Monet Tejada has to question if Tariq is what’s best for her family, as she seeks to protect her nephew’s NBA prospects at all costs. Her kids, Dru and Diana, question her moves as she grows more distracted, especially when Monet goes as far as trusting Cane again despite his actions against the family. In doing so, Monet finds herself in bed with Mecca, a man who wants to show her a whole new world, potentially at the cost of destroying her old one. Forcing Monet to lean on Tariq, who must decide what he really wants and what he’s going to sacrifice to get it.
