E-40 and Deebo Samuel team up for the ‘NFL 2K Playmakers’ hype video

It’s all in the trailer and then some. E-Dub and Deebo link up for a fire and jam-packed teaser clip promising some epic gaming on the popular mobile game.

Today, 2K and the National Football League announced the kickoff of Season 1 and the new Gamechangers mode, available now in NFL 2K Playmakers, the free-to-play card battling mobile game developed by Cat Daddy Games. To celebrate the arrival of Gamechangers mode, which leverages real-time statistics from NFL games coinciding with the start of the NFL 2024 Season, San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Deebo Samuel and Bay Area rap legend E-40 team up in a new trailer, encouraging players to “Make Every Snap Count!”

Gamechangers mode is powered by real-life NFL data and rewards users for calling their shots by picking weekly game and player outcomes. Players assemble their roster of NFL cards, make predictions on game outcomes, and earn exciting in-game rewards based on real-life action during live NFL games.

On September 5, in celebration of the NFL Kickoff, players will have access to a free pack in-game that includes* a Gold Tier Deebo Samuel Card, perfect for boosting an existing roster or helping rookie players build a collection from scratch. In celebration of the NFL's first game in Brazil on September 6, players can also earn unique Brazil-themed cards by participating in in-game activities, including playing the MVP Mixup Mode or purchasing the Kickoff Pack in the store. For details on how to earn the cards make sure to keep an eye on the official NFL 2K Playmakers social media channels. These cards will also be available to use within Gamechangers mode.
