Lil Flip's lowered his Verzuz asking price from $3 million

How much does the rap game need to see Lil Flip join the Verzuz craze? Turns out the Houston rap veteran is up for an insane face-off at a reduced post-holidays rate.

Lil Flip’s Verzuz could really go down now

In a new interview, Flipp reveals the going rate ‘could’ go up to a few million but for the love of the culture, he’s down to make it possible at around half a mill.

“At first my number was, like three, and then it was a million, but now, after I got a chance to go be on the Verzuz set in person and have fun, anything around the $500K mark is cool because I had so much fun,” he said, referencing him showing face at the controversial Bone Thugs-N-Harmony and Three  Mafia Verzuz.”

Kodak Black's down to Verzuz JAY-Z with major stakes

Florida rapper Kodak Black really wants to put his music to the test on the Verzuz stage. The rap heavyweight is either taking capping to new heights or truly believes he stands a chance at doing a bout against the living hip-hop icon JAY-Z with some serious repercussions on both sides.

KB hit up his social media pages to share his thoughts on going head to head with Young Hov. But instead of making it about respect, Black believes some major possessions are needed based on who wins.

“I’ll do a versus wit Jay Z “IF” he win he get 15 % of my catalog ! I win he make me Vice President of roc nation”

Black went back to his Twitter page to possibly downplay the tweet’s seriousness and reference folks coming at him over his Twitter fingers.

“I Love All My Fans & Supporters ! Love To Receive New Fans ! Love All Da Motivation & Inspiration , I Hate The Hating Can’t Take It I Jus Love When Everybody Love Me & Say I’m They Favorite”

JAY-Z believes he’s unstoppable even in a Verzuz battle

Despite potential matchups including Kanye West and Eminem or even Snoop Dogg being fan-suggested, the Jigga man recently said he couldn’t see himself with any worthy opponent on the grand Verzuz stage.

“No one can stand on that stage with me. It’s not a chance in hell that anyone can stand on that stage with me.”

JAY-Z says no one - yes, even you Kanye West - can see him in Verzuz

There’s some extra high confidence in JAY-Z these days. In all fairness, he’s always viewed himself as a one of one and his Twitter fingers are making sure any potential Verzuz contenders know the competition is none.

JAY-Z is a fan of the Verzuz series though

Young Hov might not see any competition but he does know how to hand out accolades. JAY has saluted The LOX’s Jadakiss for recently putting on an epic bout with his crew against Verzuz rival group Dipset.

“That’s one of the best performances of the year.”

VERZUZ Wants To Reward You For Guessing The Next Battle

Diddy Verzuz Dr. Dre - Or JD?

There could be a super slim chance Diddy and Dr. Dre could battle it out in the next VERZUZ bout. But then again - possibly not especially after Puff Daddy recently shut down going up against So So Def legend Jermaine “JD” Dupri.

It all started with JD hitting up Twitter last night to let Puff Daddy know he was in attendance for the publicized Ja Rule and Fat Joe Verzuz battle. He even tagged Puff and told him to start training for their inevitable bout.

“Somebody let @Diddy know I’m @thegarden right now ! And he gon need some training for me”

Instead of staying silent, Diddy responded to JD’s dicey words and said he could easily defeat him with his late artist Notorious B.I.G. and the iconic Mary J. Blige. The Bad Boy Records boss ultimately shut down the request and said he would hold out for fellow producer Dr. Dre.

“Beloved you my nigga but your arms too short to box with God!!! You aiint got enough hits. I’ll smash you with just biggie n Mary . But I do have the upmost respect on you as a musical legend – Dre the only one can get in the ring w me . – LOVE 🖤”

Fat Joe + Ja Rule’s Verzuz

While the world will have to wait to see if JD can eventually convince Puffy to battle, hip-hop fans were treated to a memorable Verzuz battle last night. Fat Joe and Ja Rule delivered epic moments including surprise appearances from Nelly, Ashanti, Remy Ma, Lil Mo and former Murder Inc. artist Vita

Despite going head to head, they both made sure to acknowledge each other’s hits. Joey Crack went the extra mile to show Rule love and they even performed their classic “New York” anthem together.

“I want my brother to get the props he deserves. I f*cking love Ja Rule, with all my heart.”

Ja Rule Addresses 50 Cent Verzuz Cameo Rumors

A few weeks ago, Ja Rule made it clear if his longtime rival and enemy showed up, it wouldn’t faze him or throw him off. The “Mesmerize” rapper noted how 50 Cent denied squaring up to him on a best hits Verzuz battle, and Ja will take on Joey Crack at Madison Square Garden on Tuesday.

“I will say, 50 had his shot. I wanted him in the dog house first. He didn’t want to come to the dog house. So me and crack are going to represent for the city and do it right and put on a beautiful, beautiful show. But you know, me and Crack are both competitors. It’s going to be a fight, a great show for people.”

When asked about the possibility of a 50 Cent appearance, he shut it downimmediately. Ja Rule did say, though, he’d have to give both Fif and Joey the work in that case.

“Listen, that would be the dumbest thing ever. You didn’t want to get in the gauntlet with me, but you want to make an appearance? Come on — bring it on, baby! I ain’t fearing nothing, yo. If that happens, that just means I have to give both of them that work!”
