Terrence J & Pronghorn: The new HBCU homecoming tour launches this week at Howard University
It’s all about diversifying your bonds and Terrence J knows it. The Hollywood heavyweight has teamed up with Pronghorn - the purpose driven capital investment firm dedicated to bridging equity gaps in underserved communities - for a full-fledged new HBCU homecoming tour.
Terrence J & Pronghorn’s new HBCU homecoming tour
Forget just keeping it in one spot, the tour is focused on hitting key Historically Black Colleges and Universities including Atlanta’s Spelman College and Morehouse College.
The inaugural program launches this Thursday 10/19 at Howard University in Washington, D.C. with its first ambassador, HBCU alum, actor and activist, Terrence J.
Pronghorn’s tour will descend upon three additional historically Black colleges (Spelman, Morehouse, and North Carolina A&T) to bring Pronghorn’s wealth tools, mentorship resources, and recruitment opportunities to thousands of Black students this fall. These critical capabilities were piloted via Pronghorn’s Bridgeco internship program debuted earlier this year which has created 100+ opportunities from spirits employers committed to industry equity and diversity while producing over $1.45M worth in value to its beneficiaries. The program has cultivated massive nationwide success through recently inked partnerships like its collaboration with Distilled Spirits Council of the United States (DISCUS).
In addition to extending these capabilities, Pronghorn will be bringing the first Black bar to HBCU alumni – a full bar takeover serving an explosive array of serves from the company’s network of 20+ Black-owned spirit brands. Terrence J will be formally unveiling the first look at the full bar takeover this week during Howard’s CultuRED Event with an exclusive celebrity mixologist session. The launch event will showcase three hero cocktail recipes from the Pronghorn’s family of Black founders to celebrate the heritage and legacy of Black excellence. The Black bar takeover will expand to other alumni events across throughout Howard’s homecoming week.
