Unghetto’s new ‘Unghetto World’ EP is ready for the week if you are
From start to finish, the project goes hard and clocking in at just over 12 minutes, it’s enough firepower to make you ditch the protein bar and turn up with the audio anthems.
After piling up hundreds of millions of streams and views, Unghetto (formerly known as Unghetto Mathieu) unleashes a brand new EP entitled UNGHETTO WORLD, out now via Honorable Bizness/Epic Records. Listen to UNGHETTO WORLD HERE.
Comprising six tracks, the EP opens with the single “Seen.” Melodic synths accent an off-kilter beat as Unghetto laces the track with arresting rhymes and enigmatic flows. He reflects on the journey so far and just how far he’s come as he observes, “It’s funny cause they used to play with him, now that boy getting paid.” He lets out a laugh on the hook, “Ain’t texting her back, I leave her on seen.” Among many highlights, he links up with Kaelyn Kastle on “A.T.L.A.S.” Anchored by cinematic strings, he deftly balances punchy bars on top of the shimmering synth line. He leans into the chorus with an impressive vocal performance, “Wanna get a new girlfriend, I’m’ma take her all over the atlas.” Kaelyn Kastlematches his energy. The closer “Peyton” layers mesmerizing piano above kinetic 808s. He literally shares his story on the refrain, “Was just down on my ass, now we living fast cause I made a path.” He’s walking this road straight to the top.

The project also includes his buzzing single, “TADA.” The track has accumulated more than 711.3k Spotify streams, while the music video has tallied 1.1 million views alone. It also picked up a plug from the coveted Spotify editorial playlist, “Internet People.”
By changing his moniker earlier this year, he embarks on the next era with a clear and cohesive vision.
“I always wanted a straightforward one-word name,” he states. “So, I locked on the word I created—Unghetto. Everybody can wonder, ‘What does Unghetto mean?’ Its open for interpretation. For me, Unghetto is the manifestation of my desired life. When I was in the hood, I called myself ‘Unghetto Mathieu’. I’d see the suburbs, and I wanted my life to be rich like that. It was a manifestation. I’m more than just a street rapper who wants to run his blook. The world is huge. The universe is even bigger—I want to run that.”
Allow him to welcome you to Unghetto World now.
