Hip-Hop powerhouses Tyga and YG dropped their highly anticipated collaborative project HIT ME WHEN YOU LEAVE THE KLUB: THE PLAYLIST through Last Kings Music / 4Hunnid Records / EMPIRE. The electrifying effort showcases the incomparable chemistry between the duo by highlighting the classic sounds that fans have come to know and love from the artists in conjunction with a newly ignited dynamic sound.
HIT ME WHEN U LEAVE THE KLUB: THE PLAYLIST exhibits a thrilling fusion of energetic beats and introspective lyricism paired with that familiar Compton fire YG brings to the table, which Tyga complements with unmistakable vocals and infectious melodies. When asked about the project, Tyga and YG describe “the playlist” as delivering an unforgettable compilation with vibes fit for a night out.
The final output features 14 tracks and marks an unwavering delivery from these two legends defining the new West Coast sound and joining forces for their debut project to the world. Adding timeless iconic flare, we see features from Hip-Hop greats and fan favorites Lil Wayne featured on “Brand New,” with a snippet from none other than Snoop Dogg, and the unmatched energy of Busta Rhymes gracing the hook of the record “Big One” midway through the project.
No strangers to collaborating on viral chart-topping hits for the past decade and creating captivating party anthems like Go Loko ft. Jon Z, Run ft. 21 Savage and BIA, and BOP ft. Blueface. Earlier this summer, Tyga and YG came together for several singles ahead of the project release including "Platinum", “Party Time”, and “West Coast Weekend" ft. Blxst.
