Ready to completely load up on R&B? Look no further than crooner Raiche showing out with her new Making Room EP slated to arrive in the coming hours.
Raiche’s ‘Making Room’ studio album officially drops this week
While you’ll have to wait another day before getting your hands - and ears - on this project, Rai has you more than covered with a hard-hitting solid EP set to warm up your November.
Genre Defying Entertainment / Island Prolific / Atlantic Records artist Raiche is ready to share her highly anticipated new EP, Making Room, set to release on November 13. This 5-track project marks a pivotal moment in Raiche’s musical and personal journey, as she channels heartbreak, self-reflection, and growth into a soulful, empowering collection of songs. Making Room is a spirited celebration of moving on and embracing new beginnings, fueled by the strength she found during a transformative period in 2023.
After a difficult breakup, Raiche spent the summer in Atlanta, diving deep into self-help books and podcasts on love, heartbreak, and relationships, including Jay Shetty’s 8 Rules of Love and Paulo Coelho’s The Alchemist. It was here that Raiche found the space to heal, gather her strength, and create music that showcases her growth and resilience.
“I realized I have the power to restructure my thinking and change any relationship,” Raiche shares. “I learned you can be like, ‘I want to be happy today,’ and be happy.”
The EP includes standout tracks like the title track “Making Room,” praised by VIBE as an anthem of self-work and growth, and the emotionally raw “Hearts At War,” which has garnered praise from UPROXX, Rated R&B, and VIBE, and was selected for Nissan USA’s popular #NissanKicks campaign. Raiche’s bold transformation is also captured on the latest single, “You Made Me,” a funk-infused track about reclaiming her power and moving on from a toxic relationship. Her music has received acclaim from Billboard, ESSENCE, and more, and she recently delivered a powerful performance of Making Room on the #LateShowMeMusic series
Loe Shimmy: The Florida rap heavyweight delivers with an all-out 'Nardy World' album

Loe Shimmy has you covered with he ‘Nardy World’ studio album
It’s way more than just new tunes from Loe. Shimmy comes through with Cash Cobain and Brent Faiyaz-featured guest spots along with well over 10 solid tunes.
Following his recent link-up with Cash Cobain on "Confession", Loe Shimmy has just shared his new project Nardy World — out now. The tape arrives along with an accompanying music video for "For Me" (w/ Brent Faiyaz), a new remix of hit track "For Me" (30M+ Streams). Nardy World follows his Zombieland 2.6 project, the deluxe version of March's Billboard-charting Zombieland 2 album. He also recently wrapped runs touring with Sexyy Red on her Sexyy Red 4 President Tour and Rob49 and Skilla Baby on their Vultures Eat The Most Tour this summer. "'Nardy World' is dedicated to my brother, Nardy, who lost his life to gun violence," Loe Shimmy says. "I put a lot of emotions and a lot of feeling into this tape."
Since dropping his breakthrough project Z end in 2022, which was led by the Drake-approved track “Tina”, Loe Shimmy has been on a rapid ascent, collaborating with Florida mainstays like Kodak Black (“Get Away”) and Luh Tyler (“Santa” & “A Day In The Noya”). After a performance at Rolling Loud last year and collaborations with Veeze(“Dirty Soda Junkie”), BLP KOSHER (“Jay-Z”), and Luh Tyler (“Aretha Franklin”), Loe Shimmy is now making a name for himself as one of Florida’s most noteworthy new talents. Continuing his hot streak with each release by emphasizing his guttural cadence and knack for reflective storytelling, he has his eyes set on solidifying himself as an essential artist coming out of his home state's highly-competitive rap scene. Earning him his official debut on the Billboard and Apple charts, as well as direct support from Drakeon IG, Zombieland 2 was a clear-cut testament to Lo e Shimmy's growing stature and distinct talents that have set him apart from the rest of the Florida pack: a unique ability to flex while also remaining mindful of the struggles he had to overcome to get to this point.
Yatta Bandz: The Bay Area heavyweight comes through with a much-needed 'Acrylic' EP
Ready for some new tunes to warm up you through Turkey Day? Fortunately, West Coast musician Yatta Bandz is serving up courtesy of the Acrylic EP studio effort loaded with a solid eight tunes.
Ready for some new tunes to warm up you through Turkey Day? Fortunately, West Coast musician Yatta Bandz is serving up courtesy of the Acrylic EP studio effort loaded with a solid eight tunes.
Yatta Bandz has you covered with the new ‘Acrylic’ EP
Bandz has teased this effort for a few weeks and now the wait’s officially over. Just under ten anthems, the California artist paints more than pictures with his newest audio release.
A powerful lyricist and master of heartfelt melodies, Yatta Bandz best expresses his emotions through his music. Today, the Hayward, CA native paints a picture of life as a rising rap star on his new EP, Acrylic.
The eight-track project expands on the deeply personal narratives Yatta has shared in the past, diving into topics like heartbreak, the importance of love, self-growth, and more. He sets the tone for the project on opening track "All I Ask," a deeply personal track that finds Yatta begging his girl to make up her mind and stop playing games. He continues to fine-tune his art on the glistening "I Will," where Yatta promises to treat his girl better than the rest. Despite his past confidence, the Bay Area star gets introspective on "Bad Guy," recognizing his demons and the mistakes he's made in the past: "Know that I ain't perfect, but my loyalty is so legit / I've been tryna change the way that I live / I just kept it real, that's all that I did." As the project comes to a close, Yatta slows things down, showing off his vocal chops over harmonious strings on "Thank You." On closing track "A L O N E," Yatta is at his most vulnerable, letting go of the pain and hurt: "I been A L O N E, dear please G.O.D. / Can you talk to me, had it hard but thankful for them lessons that you taught to me / At war with all my demons, you the only one that fought for me."
Yatta shared his inspiration behind the EP and the project's title: "The reasoning behind me choosing Acrylic for my EP is because music is a form of art, and acrylics play a big role in not only painting but many things that are created in the art world physically. My form of art with music can't be seen, but can be heard and still have an impact on someone's heart as much as physical art can. Acrylics are one of the most versatile substances and I want my music to be the same way, making you feel love, pain, joy, and sadness."
The road to Acrylic began earlier this Fall with previously-released EP singles "My Mistake" ft. Lil Bean and "Work of Art." Born in Hayward, an East Bay city south of Oakland and north of Fremont, Yatta Bandz has quietly become one of the most popular rappers to emerge from the Bay Area this decade. The young rapper had a rough childhood, experiencing periods of homelessness during his elementary school years. He found his refuge in music, sharing freestyles to YouTube and building a following big enough to make his debut album a hit. Since releasing his debut project Perfect Storm in 2022, Yatta has generated over 480 million worldwide streams, including on hits like “Don’t Go” (40.3 million Spotify streams, 10 million YouTube views) and “Unseen Scars” (38 million Spotify streams, 6.7 million views on YouTube audio). Last year, Yatta followed up Perfect Storm with the heartfelt TUFF LUV, home to highlights like "Way Out West" and "Polaroid." A showcase for his sharp songwriting and achingly honest lyrics, TUFF LUV has racked up over 50 million streams to date across platforms.
With 3 million streams per week on his catalog and Acrylic out now, Yatta hopes to become the next Bay Area rapper to blow.

Feel like falling in love with a fire musician? Look no further than what crooner Sej is serving up these days courtesy of her new ‘2 Shots’ single igniting all types of happy tipsy vibes from start to finish.
Sej has me feeling more than just tipsy with the new ‘2 Shots’ anthem
The song is pure flames and goes well beyond summer heat. It’s all about embracing the global appeal of this tune and full-fledged music video from the sultry singer.
Rising singer Sej released her debut single “2 Shots,” which is available to stream HERE via Compound Entertainment.
The debut single marks the formal launch of Sej’s career under Compound Entertainment, which serves as her record label and home to three-time, Grammy award-winning artist NE-YO. “2 Shots” highlights Sej’s unique ability to blend pop, R&B and Caribbean rhythms.
It captures a carefree Carribean vibe with Sej seeking a night of escape and good times fueled by music and drinks to forget the past. The song is a celebration of living in the moment and raising glasses to keep the party going as she uses lyrics like “Two shots is all I need tonight, show me a good good time till morning light.”
The Trinidadian artist first got her start in the entertainment industry, appearing in a variety of fashion shows and music videos. Along the way, music icon Machel Montano eventually took notice of Sej’s budding potential as an artist and encouraged the songstress to move abroad to showcase her talent to a larger audience.
She ultimately bet on herself and moved to Miami in 2023, where she sharpened her songwriting and vocal skillset. The sacrifice, focus and dedication paved the way for Sej to get discovered, sign to Compound Entertainment and work with esteemed icons like NE-YO on new music.
With new singles on the horizon, Sej plans to continue exploring themes of modern love and relationships in her music while proudly representing her Caribbean heritage.
Sophie Faith: There's no more better chill audio flex than the new 'Hold My Drink, Watch This' album
I know, I know - it’s technically an EP but terminology isn’t enough from keeping me from calling my girl Sophie Faith’s new Hold My Drink, Watch This EP a full-fledged impressive studio album. I’m here for it and it demands plenty of repeat mode features.
I know, I know - it’s technically an EP but terminology isn’t enough from keeping me from calling my girl Sophie Faith’s new Hold My Drink, Watch This EP a full-fledged impressive studio album. I’m here for it and it demands plenty of repeat mode features.
Sophie Faith completely delivers with her ‘Hold My Drink, Watch This’ album
It’s six tunes deep but each one demands at least three to four repeats on the first listen. So soaking in what she’s serving up and knowing more is to come? Giddy up.
The captivating Sophie Faith releases her six-track EP ‘Hold My Drink, Watch This’, alongside the lead single ‘KOKO’ released under her own label Honey & Lemon Music, licensed by TLD Records. Executively produced by the esteemed multi-instrumentalist Fred Cox, this project captures the whirlwind of Sophie’s late twenties—navigating toxic relationships, unforgettable nights out with friends, and chasing exhilarating highs. ‘KOKO’ embodies this era, with Sophie and her friends often ending wild nights at the iconic venue. Releasing this project now, as she undergoes a transformative period in life, feels perfectly timed for reflection. Ten months into sobriety, Sophie chose the playful ‘Hold My Drink, Watch This’ to show her newfound confidence and resilience. Reflecting on the project, she shared, “I was fortunate to create this with amazing people I genuinely love and respect, including my favourite producers, Youth XL from LA and Fred Cox, who executive produced the whole thing.”
Sophie grew up in Brighton and spent most of her adult life in London, with music having always been her lifeline, helping her navigate life's challenges—from the loss of her father at a young age to her mother’s battle with alcoholism and the everyday complexities of living with ADHD. Her upbringing was far from conventional, Sophie moved frequently over the years, spending most of her time between London, Amsterdam, LA and Ibiza. During this time, her survival left her spiralling into a lifestyle of drugs, sex, debauchery and an ongoing search for contentment. Today, Sophie has found peace and balance and has undergone a profound lifestyle shift. Now, ten months sober, she has left London for the tranquillity of the countryside, where she devotes her time to making music and cultivating a healthy lifestyle - she’s on a mission to become self-sufficient, growing all her fruit and vegetables.
In addition to her creative pursuits, Sophie is passionate about mentoring and hosting regular showcases at 91 Living Room and Soho House for rising artists, which has featured Nia Smith, Nectar Woode, Amber Simone, MRCY lead singer Kojo, Izzy Withers, amongst others. She also works with Audio Active, a non-profit organisation that fosters social change through music and helps develop emerging talent. Sophie has a deep passion for both writing and performing while hosting regular jam sessions and supper clubs, collaborating with talented artists such as Stormzy, Reuben James, Erick The Architect, CARRTOONS, Jay Prince, Kwaku Asante, Fred Cox, and five-time Grammy nominee Linden Jay, (produced “The Right Side of Wrong” while also being a close friend) amongst others. These artists have become a second family, inspired her, and played a significant role in shaping her signature sound and style. Enigmatic and captivating, Sophie evokes the spirit of timeless musical icons. Drawing from a broad and diverse musical palette, her inspirations range from the soulful voices of Jazmine Sullivan, Marvin Gaye, and Donny Hathaway. Blending elements of Jazz, R&B, and Soul, Sophie's sound transcends genres.
Since her breakout in 2017 with the hit single ‘Say So’ featuring Midnight Phunk, Sophie has been making waves in the music scene. A significant milestone in her career came in 2022 when she collaborated with Stormzy on the single ‘Heart Is On My Sleeve,’ a standout track from her debut EP ‘The Right Side of Wrong’. The EP garnered widespread acclaim, solidifying Sophie’s place in the industry. 2024 has already been a standout year for Sophie. Her recent singles— ’Call You’ ’Freudian Slips,’ ‘Dopamine,’ and ‘Missing Me’—received praise from tastemakers like Victoria Jane, Target, Jess Iszat, Jamz Supernova and DJ Ace. Alongside these releases, Sophie embarked on her ‘Hold My Drink’ tour, performing across seven UK locations, culminating in a sold-out show at Lafayette. Sophie's live performances have become a must-see, especially with her band on stage. In the past year, while remaining sober, she has performed at Glastonbury, Jazz Café, KOKO, and even supported Odeal at the Outernet and Chic founder Nile Rodgers at his headline show at Ludlow Castle, further enhancing her reputation as a dynamic live act. Building on this reputation, her latest EP, ‘Hold My Drink, Watch This’, marks only her second EP release—but it's powerful. This project is filled with honesty, diving deep into her roots and journey, bringing a raw, unfiltered authenticity that truly sets her apart. Each track is a bold testament to her unique voice and perspective, making it a project that will stand the test of time and no doubt grow her fan base in the UK and beyond. ABOUT WALE
Few rap artists have been as versatile for as long as Wale. Since unloading his breakout project, 2008’s A Mixtape About Nothing, the DC rhymer has helped permanently collapse the worlds of backpack rap and the Billboard Hot 100, packaging spurts of striking social commentary with braggadocious bars, Seinfeld-indebted irony, and anthemic tales of romance and aspiration. In the process, he earned Platinum and Gold plaques while establishing himself as the one of most accomplished MCs the DMV’s ever produced. And he’s still pushing forward with his last album, Folarin II, a sequel to 2012’s fan-favorite mixtape Folarin. With its kaleidoscopic blend of fly-guy theme songs, infectious R&B collaborations, and genuine soul-searching, the record reaffirms his status as one of rap’s most innovative, exciting, and enduring curators. Before he had a legacy to contemplate, Wale was born and raised Olubowale Victor Akintimehin to Nigerian immigrant parents in Washington, D.C. After graduating from Quince Orchard High School in 2002, he attended Robert Morris University and Virginia State University on football scholarships before transferring to Bowie State University. Soon enough, though, he dropped out to pursue a rap career, with “Dig Dug (Shake It)”—a playfully confident introductory tune inspired by his hometown’s go-go movement—becoming his first local hit immediately upon its release in 2006. That same year, he was featured in The Source’s Unsigned Hype Column.
After a trio of mixtapes—Paint a Picture, Hate Is the New Love, 100 Miles & Running—Wale consummated his rise with 2008’s A Mixtape About Nothing, a project inspired by his favorite TV series, Seinfeld. For that project, the then-ascendant rhymer spit over go-go-inspired beats as he tackled subjects like fashion, the rap game, everyday racism, and domestic abuse with his now-signature blend of nuance, critical thought, and machismo. In an era where rap subgenres were debated and more obviously stratified, Wale's style was disruptively inclusive. Naturally, compromising his subject matter was never an option. “My goal was just to be successful and stay true to what I want to do,” he says. Wale has made good on that for a decade and a half.By the time he released his major-label debut album, 2009’s Attention Deficit, Wale was named a member of XXL’s prestigious Freshman Class, and his status as one of hip-hop’s premier rising artists had crystallized. In the intervening years, he transitioned from a promising up-and-comer to a venerable rap star. After aligning with Rick Ross and Maybach Music Group in 2011, Wale released Ambition, a sophomore LP coated in reflective rhymes and bars meant to inspire. It also includes the glittering ballad, “Lotus Flower Bomb,” a track that’s since been certified Platinum. Between 2012 and 2020, he continued fortifying his catalog with albums like The Gifted (2013), The Album About Nothing (2015), Shine (2017), and Wow...That’s Crazy (2019). During this period, he collected a Platinum plaque for “My P.Y.T.”; Gold for Ambition and The Gifted, and his Rick Ross and Jeremih-assisted single “That Way;” and more accolades. His last album, Folarin II (2019), spawned hits like “Poke It Out” with J Cole before he left Warner Records and took some time away from music.
He re-emerged in 2023 with a new deal at Def Jam, a feature on Odumodublvck’s “Blood On The Dance Floor” which went #1 in Nigeria for 8 weeks, a headline show at the Kennedy Center in DC for the first time to celebrate the 10th year anniversary of his album The Gifted, and his first Diamond record for the legendary Waka Flocka collaboration “No Hands . In 2024, he’s been putting the finishing touches on his 8th album, and readying fans old and new for his next chapter as one of hip hop’s greatest writers.

The bars alone are impressive but seeing both Benny and 38 showing out in front of the camera? I can’t get enough of the fall presentation. Completely tap in.
Jeshi: The new 'SAINT OR SINNER' anthem demands your endless repeat modes
If you know how I roll - I’m always riding for my London bruvs - always. So it’s no shocker I’m showing ample love over to hip-hop artist Jeshi and Sainté courtesy of highlighting their super fire ‘SAINT OR SINNER’ anthem ahead of a much-needed Airbag Woke Me Up studio album.
Jeshi completely delivers with the ‘SAINT OR SINNER’ single
The tune is such fire I can’t help but type out these words with it on repeat mode. But how about adding a little visual teaser, too? Say less.
London’s concept album King, Jeshi has dropped his new single “SAINT OR SINNER” featuring alternative rap talent Sainté. The futuristic production from JD. Reid, bb & RJ, creates a hazy, beautiful atmosphere on “SAINT OR SINNER”. Sainté, is the perfect collaborator to add to this musical vortex.
At the core of Jeshi’s sophomore effort is dynamism; the harnessing of movement and his quest to feel alive in every sense of the word. This sentiment has always felt core to Jeshi’s artistic mission. This has never been as palpable as on Jeshi’s electrifying second album AIRBAG WOKE ME UP set to release on January 24 2025.
It’s a collection of moment-capturing songs built to ignite reactions and start conversations. His scene-stealing jaunts to stages worldwide clearly influence his live-wire sound. Jeshi and his cohort smash through moods and tempos like kids let loose on dodgem cars. “I want to make things that have intent and feel like statements,” Jeshi declares. His versatile voice is the conductive thread that pulls everything together. “On [debut album] Universal Credit, my voice was used in one way, whereas on this it’s used in ten ways,” he explains.
Creatively, Airbag Woke Me Up embraces the full range of production at Jeshi’s disposable and finds something amorphous and ever-changing. “SAINT OR SINNER” is a perfect representation of the dichotomy that his endless searching unearths. Represented by the title but also in the mood shift that takes place halfway through the track as we are pulled into a tone change by eerie bass keyboards.
Jeshi elaborates on the new single, “‘SAINT OR SINNER’ is really about contrast and the lows inside of the highs we’ve been blessed with. It was sick linking up with Sainté for this as we were fans of each other for a minute, so it’s good to have him on the album. That switch at the end still gets me every time…”
“SAINT OR SINNER” comes after the chaos capturing “HURRICANE”. A beautiful track with haunting vocals from London singer-songwriter LEILAH and mind-melting visuals from The Uncanny (Corteiz, New Balance). “HURRICANE” is about grappling with the mayhem of life, trying to tame it and struggling.
Jeshi has jumped straight into releasing again after his 5 city and 7 date Australia & New Zealand tour and a packed London Fashion Week which included attending front row at shows by Ahluwalia, Fashion East, Labrum, Natasha Zinko as well as events with The Face, Slawn X Saatchi, Knwls, Jordan Luca & Wonderland.
Jeshi’s authentic realism and self-understanding has made him beloved with fans and critics alike. Introspective without dwelling and honest without being glum, Jeshi finds a unique balance to reflect his perspective.

The ‘My Ting Different’ hits way different and I love it
It’s way more than just a skim for the win. The production goes hard plus pairing up Tosh with signature bars courtesy of Double L? I’m here for it start to finish.
From the streets of NYC to the shores of Jamaica and the bustling cities in between, globally recognized singer/songwriter Tosh Alexander is back with a bang. Her new single, 'My Ting Different,' a collaboration with Rap sensation Lady London, is now available. Get it HERE and join the global celebration.
Hot off the heels of igniting Miami Caribbean carnival, Tosh Alexander and Lady London bring the vibrant energy of the West Indies to life with 'My Ting Different.' This tropical track, infused with base-knocking 808 beats and evocative steelpan instrumentation, is a dynamic blend of R&B, Hip Hop, and Reggae. As Jamaican-Americans, Tosh and London's seamless chemistry is a testament to their musical prowess, conveying a powerful message of embracing one's uniqueness boldly and fearlessly.
"My Ting Different" arrives on the heels of Tosh Alexander's debut 2024 single, "Chat To Me Nice," one of Tosh's most discussed singles to date. LADYGUNN coined Tosh as "a musical fusion of Jamaican soul and Brooklyn cool," furthermore stating that "Chat To Me Nice" "is a reflection of her [Tosh's] journey to self-acceptance and empowerment." Elsewhere, Kazi Magazine, Caribbean National Weekly, Global Grind, Rolling Out, Viper Magazine, and more followed suit with praise for the sultry, soulful release. Check out the official "Chat To Me Nice" music video HERE.
Tosh Alexander is a rising figure in her own right, pulling out all the stops to ensure her presence is known in music and beyond. Earlier this year, she curated an immersive exhibition that presented her sound, story, and style through music, fashion, and art in the heart of Tribeca, New York. The two-day event provided a striking glimpse into the world of Tosh Alexander for those who may be new to the International star's journey and fans who have supported her from the beginning. The exhibition displayed six five-foot tall mannequins styled a few of Tosh's most revered music video looks, including the most recent ensembles from her latest video, "Chat To Me Nice" and "Cum Yah." Decorated on the wall of the two-story event space, highlighted dazzling BTS photos from an array of Tosh's music videos since her emergence on the music scene. Pictures from "Ready Fi Dem," "Bubble," and more were placed into center focus, highlighting the rich ties between Tosh, the cultural roots exhibited in her music videos, and the overall prowess of Dancehall culture. Last month, Tosh made her New York Fashion Week debut in support of Jamaican designer Edvin Thompson of Theophilio, fresh from performing a profound tribute for the legendary Marcia Griffiths at the 2024 Caribbean Music Awards.
Exciting and daring, Tosh Alexander's journey takes a new turn with her latest release, 'My Ting Different,' featuring Lady London. Be sure to check it out HERE, and stay tuned for the official music video, which is set to drop soon.

Ready for a full-fledged countdown? Look no further than what’s brewing with West Coast musician Yatta Bandz preparing to deliver an Acrylic studio project to the masses this Friday.
Yatta Bandz is slated to deliver ‘Acrylic’ to the world this Friday
While you won’t have to wait long for the new EP, you can rest assured it’s set to be the biggest teaser of the season with just eight fire tunes to tease an even bigger release later down the road.
A master of vulnerable melodies and heartfelt lyrics, Yatta Bandz is one of the Bay Area's best kept secrets. Today, the Hayward, CA native officially announces his upcoming EP Acrylic, out next Friday 11/8. The eight-track project is set to expand upon the deeply personal narratives Yatta has shared in the past, diving into topics like heartbreak, the importance of love, self-growth, and more. Along with the EP announcement, the Bay Area riser shares a glimpse into the project, releasing a short trailer for the project. In the trailer, Yatta paints on a canvas while singing an acoustic version of "Work of Art," furthering the metaphor of the young star being a master painter, with an unlimited array of colors in his palette for him to express his emotions. Stay tuned for the trailer coming later this afternoon!
The road to Acrylic began earlier this Fall with Yatta Bandz's new singles "My Mistake" ft.
With 3 million streams per week on his catalog and a work of art on the way, Yatta hopes to become the next Bay Area rapper to blow. Stay tuned for the new EP, coming 11/8 via EMPIRE.
