NBA 2K Mobile: The iPad gaming goals keep intensifying for me with PvP Challenges now live
I love my PlayStation 5 but until a slimmer version launches, it’s all about taking the mobile gaming goals rocking on the road. So of course the iPad is getting ample usage notably with NBA 2K Mobile and with the newly launched - and much-needed - PvP Challenges active? Holy smokes.
Whether you want to shoot your shot - literally - against a random challenger or finally want the smack talk to come to an end with your roommate or friendly pals, being able to go up against a real-life person - sorry AI and computer generators - is finally real.
2K today announced a long-awaited new feature, PvP Challenges, within NBA® 2K Mobile, one of 2K’s flagship mobile titles with more than 41 million downloads*. Available to all players today, PvP Challenges bring the heat to NBA 2K Mobile, allowing players to directly challenge their friends and family to battle it out head-to-head on the court.
After beta testing PvP Challenges and listening to community feedback, NBA 2K Mobile has integrated a number of updates for players to enjoy. The updates include upgraded visuals, UI/UX improvements, smoother connections for players to find and challenge opponents and behind-the-scenes updates that will make matchmaking more stable.
The new hub for PvP Challenges can be found within the game’s Chat section. Challenges can be sent by going to player profiles. Unlike other modes in the game, there is no energy system - players can battle their friends all day and night! To celebrate the launch, all players will be able to redeem a code for a Jade Tier Jayson Tatum card** through June 6.
To play, download the free NBA 2K Mobile app for Apple devices with 4+ GB of RAM and iOS 11.0 or later or on Google devices with Android 8+ (Android 9.0 recommended). Only users that are on the same platform can play against each other – iOS vs. iOS and Android vs. Android. An Internet connection is required. NBA 2K Mobile’s live 2K action requires newer hardware. App includes optional in-game purchases.
Follow NBA 2K Mobile on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram for all the latest info and updates.
