Need some real-life inspiration? Tap in to WORLD Channel's 'Stories from the Stage' season 6 premiere next week

We all love the glitz and glamour of fictional stories but there’s a reason why documentaries and tell-all releases always do blockbuster numbers - the people want the real. So of course the WORLD Channel’s much-anticipated season 6 premiere of its ‘Stories from the Stage’ is a big deal this coming week.

Lock-in Monday, September 26 at 9:30 PM ET for the major debut of the latest season focusing on real-life stories and reveals from people you might have even met in real life. Check out the details for what’s to come in the next 96 hours.

Stories from the Stage, the acclaimed WORLD Channel storytelling series that presents real-life people of all backgrounds sharing true stories of the ordinary and the wonderous moments in life, returns this month for its sixth season. The season 6 premiere episode features one woman’s personal story of living with hair loss from alopecia and learning to readjust her views of herself and her ideas of beauty. The episode is airing this month for Alopecia Awareness Month.

Luciana Naldi’s story is told in the season opener episode called Changemakers on Monday, September 26 at 9:30 p.m. Eastern/6:30 p.m. Pacific. The episode spotlights three women who paved the way for change for themselves and those around them. Luciana lives with alopecia and challenges expectations on beauty; Robin Schoenthaler breaks glass ceilings as one of the few female EMTs in 1980s Oakland, California; and Su Joun learns that sometimes you have to break the rules to help those in need.

The episode premieres nationwide on television and will continue streaming at worldchannel.org. Audiences in the US and around the world can also hear it as part of Stories from the Stage: The Podcast starting that day as well. Featuring hosts Wes Hazard and Theresa Okokon, new episodes of Stories from the Stage air every Monday at 9:30 p.m. ET on WORLD Channel and stream on worldchannel.org this fall.
