Skilla Baby & BossMan Dlow: The duo double up for their 'Booby Trap On The River' music video

The fire power is going non-stop for Skilla Baby these days. Serving up fire tunes and then revamping those same anthems with deluxe projects? Super tough. So it’s all eyes on SB as he teams up with rap star BossMan Dlow for their ‘Booby Trap On The River’ music video.

Rising Detroit rapper Skilla Baby expands his breakout mixtape The Coldest with a brand-new Deluxe Edition out now via Geffen Records. Listen HERE. He notably added four brand new tracks to the record, presenting a cohesive vision in the process. To complement its arrival, he dropped the music video for the track “Booby Trap On The River” (feat. BossMan Dlow).” Watch HERE.

Among the expanded material, “Booby Trap On The River” opens up the Deluxe Edition. The song’s ominous piano loop practically chokes a tense beat, and he locks into a braggadocios back-and-forth with BossMan Dlow. On the hook, Skilla Baby proclaims, “In that Maybach, I be feeling like Rick Ross, baby. The music video projects this energy on-screen including interactions with fans and scenes from a performance. Skilla Baby and BossMan Dlow command attention in every frame. Notably The Coldest just crossed over 100 million streams to date. 

The glitchy bounce of “Body Bangin” brushes up against his lusty flow, “You look heaven-sent, baby Amen.A trap stomp sets the pace for “RYN” where he turns up with DaBaby and Baby Money. Then, there’s “Soulja Slimm.On the latter, he flexes alongside Rob49, comparing their chemistry to that of Juvenile and Soulja Slim and boasting,  “They know me by first name at Saks 5th and Neiman Marcus.
