New York flexing? You better believe it. Buffalo’s own Benny The Butcher suits up and gets ready for a full-fledged new album rollout courtesy of a ‘BRON’ music video.
With buzz building for the Everybody Can’t Go album, it’s all eyes on the basketball inspired tune with ‘BRON’ sparking must-see feels.
Benny The Butcher, the Grammy-Nominated and Emmy-Award-winning member of Buffalo’s acclaimed Griselda collective, unveils a new single and music video entitled “BRON” out today via Def Jam Recordings. Listen HERE and watch HERE. It brings us another step closer to the arrival of his highly anticipated new album, EVERYBODY CAN’T GO, on January 26, 2024. Pre-order/Pre-save HERE.
The track’s soulful keyboard loop wraps around a thick beat as Benny lyrically muscles his way into the spotlight with a warning, “The Butcher coming!” He leans into a confident and charismatic cadence with bold bars. He affirms, “In my city, I’m King Kong,” and cleverly confides, “I can’t resist all this winning. It’s like me and success built a bond.” The black-and-white visual finds him in a Hapeville, GA school gymnasium at 5am. Local basketball players hit the court, while he raps in the locker room and in the paint. It undeniably evokes the victorious spirit of his rhymes.
“BRON” furthers the momentum from his recent anthem “One Foot In” ft. Stove God Cooks, produced by HIT-BOY. Beyond racking up 441K Spotify streams and 524K YouTube views on the music video, the latter incited critical applause. Stereogum noted, “Benny’s new single “One Foot In” is all about existing in the music business and the criminal underworld at the same time — a difficult proposition for anyone.” Clash professed,“‘One Foot In’ goes hard from the first note to last,” and REVOLT highlighted how “the track gives fans a vivid look into the Buffalo emcee’s dark past.” Brooklyn Vegan put it best, “Everyone’s in top form on this one. It’s gritty and gleaming all at once, with a hook you’ll be humming after one listen and verses from Benny and Stove God that find them going as hard as ever.” Listen HERE.
Benny set off his Def Jam era with “Big Dog” featuring Lil Wayne. “Big Dog” has already amassed 3.2 million Spotify streams and counting, in addition to 2.5 million YouTube views on the music video. It earned widespread critical acclaim as The FADER praised how “they are clearly having fun with their bars.” Stereogum raved, “Sometimes, Benny The Butcher and Lil Wayne get together to rip an Alchemist beat to pieces.” Brooklyn Vegan proclaimed, “It finds the Butcher’s boom bap revival sounding as gritty and alluring as ever.”
Benny The Butcher’s flow might be the only thing colder than the winter in his native Buffalo, NY. He realized his destiny at just 10 years old, honing his lyricism with wisdom and wit. He quietly established himself as one of the most elite rappers in the game with a series of mixtapes under the moniker of B.E.N.N.Y. During 2014 he joined forces with his cousins and Westside Gunn and Conway the Machine, to form the trio known as Griselda.”
The group flipped the game upside down as Benny prolifically dropped solo projects, including My First Brick and Butcher On Steroids with DJ Green Lantern. 2018 saw Benny reach critical mass with Tana Talk 3, paving the way for the tastemaker-approved Burden of Proof in 2020. The latter cracked the Top 30 of the Billboard 200 anchored by “Legend,” and “New Streets.” He leveled up again to another stratosphere in 2022 with Tana Talk 4, debuting in the Top 25 of the Billboard 200 and spawning the hit single “Johnny P’s Caddy” [feat. J. Cole]. The single reached gold status vaulted onto the Billboard Hot 100, and tallied over 100 million streams and counting. However, he comes out swinging in 2024. Benny’s icy flow, infectious hooks, and irresistible sense of soul drive his 2024 opus, EVERYBODY CAN’T GO [Def Jam Recordings]. The Butcher is back, and the bars cut deep. Beware.
Benny the Butcher & Stove God Cooks: It's steady serving in the 'One Foot' music video
While some might shiver around this time of year, you know someone like Upstate New York rapper Benny the Butcher isn’t feeling nippy in these temps. The case remains the same courtesy of the ‘One Foot’ music video.

Benny The Butcher - the Grammy-Nominated and Emmy-Award-winning member of Buffalo’s acclaimed Griselda collective - unleashes a new single and music video entitled “One Foot In” ft. Stove God Cooks, produced by HIT-BOY, via Def Jam Recordings.
“One Foot In” turns up the volume and sets the stage for the release of the Butcher’s highly anticipated new album EVERYBODY CAN’T GO, arriving on January 26, 2024.
A head-nodding beat sets the tempo for the track as he lays down some ground rules. “Everybody can’t go, and you probably won’t make it.” He threads together one quotable rhyme after another with a precise flow. Taking a victory lap, he gets braggadocious, “You beat out the best, and then you weed out the rest,” and he confesses, “Now look at God, I wrote this verse in my GRAMMY outfit.” Meanwhile, the hook illustrates his duality as he examines a life with one foot in the streets and one in the rap game. The accompanying visual illustrates this vibe on-screen as Benny simply shines.
Last month, the proud member of Buffalo’s Griselda collective served up the single “Big Dog” featuring Lil Wayne. “Big Dog” has already amassed 3.2 million Spotify streams and counting, in addition to 2.5 million YouTube views on the music video. The video finds the drill duo strutting their stuff in a graffitied soundstage, flanked by Brooklyn baddies and an emerald green Lambo as they energetically perform their verses.
"WRAP EM UP" is a highlight from NIGHTMARE ON DA FIFTH, a sinister project that dropped on Halloween. The new tape continues to cement the Canarsie native's chokehold on the Brooklyn drill scene, while also taking the time to showcase the talents of DUSTY's 95MM crew, including 3Kizzy, Kajun Waters, who recently teamed with DUSTY for the new banger "Chevelle," SFIV5, Stelly Hundo, and OMB Jay Dee. Home to highlights like "PRESSURE" and "FLU GANG," and the buzzing single "ROLANDO 2 (Catch The Rain)" (1.1 million views in 2 weeks), NIGHTMARE ON DA FIFTH is available everywhere via EMPIRE.

Earlier in the year, DUSTY dropped the ROLLIN N CONTROLLIN EP, which collected each installment of DUSTY, “ROLLIN N CONTROLLIN ” singles, including the recent “ROLLIN N CONTROLLIN Pt. 3 (BEEN ROLLIN),” it’s TikTok-viral predecessor, and the GOLD certified original. The EP also featured his second-ever single, “Rolando (Caught In The Rain),” which generated hundreds of millions of streams across platforms.

Instead of just hitting the booth, AC relies on the power of mind-blowing visuals as she takes her swimsuit goals to the sauna. Check out the details and watch Caesar blast away on her newest anthem.
Before she even dropped her debut project, Griselda’s First Lady Armani Caesar received a “Best Rap Verse of 2020” nod from Complex for her contribution (“Lil Cease”) to Westside Gunn’s Flygod Is An Awesome God 2.
Armani’s Griselda debut project, The Liz (2020), was met with immediate press and fan acclaim, and the project was highlighted by esteemed press outlets such as Pitchfork, Rolling Stone, Complex, Fader, Stereogum, Hypebeast, CoS, XXL, HNHH, Uproxx, DJbooth, Forbes and NPR just to name a few. The Liz featured appearances from Griselda’s core (Westside Gunn, Benny The Butcher and Conway The Machine) and production from DJ Premier, Camouflage Monk and 808 Mafia.
Since The Liz was released, Armani raised her profile exponentially, ripping guest verses on Westside Gunn’s the aforementioned Flygod Is An Awesome God 2 (“Lil Cease”), his Shady Records debut Who Made The Sunshine (“Liz Loves Luger” & “98 Sabers” Feat Conway The Machine & Benny The Butcher) and #HWH8 (“Forest Lawn” which also featured 2 Chainz), Conway The Machine’s From King To A GOD (“Anza”), two songs on Griselda’s Conflicted Official Music Soundtrack (“Mission Accomplished” with Westside Gunn, Conway & Benny & her solo offering “Nerve Of You”) and most recently with her fellow 716 queen Che Noir’s Food For Thought (“Ladies Brunch”). Armani also performed standout sets at Coachella (both weeks), Rolling Loud (NYC, Miami & LA), Made In America Festival, Day In Vegas, and Art Basel.
With #ARMANISZN now approaching, she sets the table for her forthcoming sophomore drop, The Liz 2, with a new freestyle and visual for “Poker Night.”

New York rapper Conway The Machine is staying extra busy with his new God Don’t Make Mistakes studio album. The hip-hop heavyweight comes through with the visual treatment to standout banger ‘Stressed’ clocking in at nearly six minutes and packed with emotion.
From the opening sequence to getting a reminder of how close Conway came to his own death, the video is an emotional rollercoaster. Peep some details and check out the full visual.
The road to Conway The Machine’s Shady Records major-label debut album has been eventful and incredibly redemptive. Along that long and winding path, many things were learned, chiefly among them was that to touch souls, you must first reveal your own and that is exactly what Conway achieved with God Don’t Make Mistakes.
In sharing his story with the world, Conway broke down his own barriers and because of that candidness, God Don’t Make Mistakes displays him in an entirely different light. Vulnerable and reflective; Conway supplied his fans with a mirror into his life. God Don’t Make Mistakes is an honest and real accounting of a man wrestling with his own demons and inner-turmoil.
“Do anyone care that I’m stressed”? Perhaps, no one track from God Don’t Make Mistakes accentuates that window into his soul better than “Stressed.” Conway touches on his cousin’s suicide, childhood abuse, the loss of his infant son, addiction, trauma, and the debilitating Bells Palsy diagnosis that he has suffered from since being shot in the head; and that almost killed him.
Now, Conway has released the visual for “Stressed” and its 5-minutes of free therapy that serves as a reminder to check on your strong friends.
God Don’t Make Mistakes is now available at all DSP’s and features appearances and production from Lil Wayne, Rick Ross, Benny The Butcher, Westside Gunn, Jill Scott, T.I., Beanie Sigel, Hit-Boy, The Alchemist, Daringer, Beat Butcha, Bink, J.U.S.T.I.C.E. League, Novel, Keisha Plum, Cosmo Beats and Conway’s Drumwork label artists Jae Skeese and 7xvethegenius.

If you just want to say what up, if you want to tell me you love my videos - you can tell me that you hate my videos but the best way to do that is on Instagram. Peace y’all, Jonny Fastlane here. So, Benny The Butcher is accused of stealing some woman’s earrings. Let’s talk hip-hop!
This situation is crazy as hell and I don’t even know how true this sh*t is. It’s all alleged but Benny The Butcher’s being accused of stealing some woman’s earrings. So allegedly allegedly the whole situation went down a couple weeks ago when he was at a hotel with some shorty or whatever and then apparently the following day she realizes that her $10,000 diamond earrings are gone. She calls Benny like ‘Yo, where’s my earrings at. It was only me and you up in this hotel room.’
He’s like, ‘Oh yeah, I do have them. I’m going to return them to you.’ Allegedly allegedly. I mean it just sounds weird. It sounds like some shit that ain’t really happen but anyway, this is what she says. happens right. Then she says she called him again a couple days later and he says you know what, those earrings, I lost them. My bad.
So then she files a police report on him and instead of just being like ‘Fuck it just give me the money,’ you know Benny’s got money so he doesn’t really have to steal anybody’s earrings. The whole thing just sounds weird to me.
But let me know what y’all think about this in the comments.

For now, we’re just left with December 1989. Regardless of the date being confirmed, denied or anything in-between, it’s still dope to see Fontaine turning up like he’s 10 in 1999.
Pardison Fontaine's working in a wig shop
Or is he? The ride or die to rap star Megan Thee Stallion is teasing big things going down from a beauty supple store but there’s more than meets the eye. Just when you think we’ve caught Pardison Fontaine on a side hustle, logic - and production equipment - suggest this is all part of a music video shoot.

Could this be a ‘Thot Sh*t’ remix? Maybe a new freestyle? Either way, the anticipation is here.
Benny the Butcher doesn't want you wearing fake watches around him

The footage is funny but super cringe at the same time. Kick back and let the giggles make you reconsider the ‘fake it to make it’ concept.
