Yo Gotti Drops 'For The Record' To Celebrate D.C. United Power Move

Memphis rapper Yo Gotti is making sure the world knows it’s way, way, way deeper than rap in 2021. The hip-hop heavyweight celebrates his now-publicized co-ownership in Major League Soccer team D.C. United.

Granted - this is technically audio instead of a video - but it’s still worthy of getting the video placement and proper respect placed on its name as Gotti touches on his entrepreneurial ambitions, growth as a businessman and determination to lead the way for his CMG protégés.

The song comes days after the game-changing September 27 announcement of joining billionaires Jason Levien and Steve Kaplan as co-owners of the MLS team. It also comes months after Gotti revealed a partnership between his CMG record company and Interscope Geffen A&M with an aim to develop the careers of artists including Moneybagg Yo, 42 Dugg and EST Gee.
