YTB Fatt: The 'Free Smurk, Big Eddie & Cam' music video is the ultimate salute flex
It’s safe to say rap star YTB Fatt is on the steady grind so it’s no shocker his ‘Free Smurk, Big Eddie & Cam’ single plus music video go extra hard. The cinematic appeal is tough but how about seeing past and present moments on display for the three minute-plus visual? Extra tough.
I’m here for all things Fatt with 2024 wrapping up and tapping into his must-hear Richest Foxx project, too. Completely tap in.
Following the release of his EP The Richest Fox, Memphis rap cornerstone YTB Fatt has just shared a new video for "FREE SMURK, BIG EDDIE & CAM"––out now via 10K Projects. The TWL-directed video is an MTV's Diary style montage of YTB Fatt, whosereminiscent delivery intertwines with a frigid piano riff and branch-breaking drums to supply a sobering message. "FREE SMURK, BIG EDDIE & CAM" is the intro to The Richest Foxx, a continuation of his Fatt Tuesday series. Over the weekend YTB Fatt huddled up with the Colorado Buffaloes football team––linked with Coach Prime, walked out with superstar QB Shedeur Sanders, and delivered a victorious locker-room performance. The EP features Quavo, is engineered / produced by lifetime friend Frenchie, and features production from frequent collaborators of Moneybagg Yo, Lil Yachty, and Glorilla. The Richest Foxx follows the release of his mixtape On Zai and the project's deluxe EP. The8 song EP dives deeper into YTB Fatt's universe and comes equipped with back-breaking street anthems such as the Quavo-assisted "WHEN DEY COME" and the YouTube Top 10-trending "HAHA".
After touring with Moneybagg Yo and Sexyy Red and wrapping up his first headlining tour YTB Fatt is continuing his momentous run on a nationwide tour with Rod Wave. This summer his mixtape On Zai peaked at #1 on the Billboard Heatseekers chart, boasted contributions from Lil Baby, Rylo Rodriguez, Blac Youngsta, GloRilla, NoCap, and Fatt Macc, and followed singles "Score", "Get Up On It", and the Beanie Sigel-sampling "In The Air" (feat. Rylo Rodriguez). In recent months, YTB Fatt received a co-sign from Lil Durk following the release of his viral single "Get Back" (38M Streams), dropped the YouTube Top 25-trending "Same" (which samples Usher’s “Same Girl”) and linked up with OT7 Quanny for street banger "I Did It".
GloRilla: The 'Yeah Glo!' music video is as fire as you'd expect
There’s no L’s for GloRilla - ever. So it’s clear when she’s stomping in the recording studio with an anthem like ‘Yeah Glo!’ it’s only a matter of time before a fire music video arrives.
There’s no L’s for GloRilla - ever. So it’s clear when she’s stomping in the recording studio with an anthem like ‘Yeah Glo!’ it’s only a matter of time before a fire music video arrives.
It’s two for one with Glo getting the new anthem plus the cinematic reveal premiered at the same time. It’s all eyes on Glo from every angle. Tap in.
Mac Critter: It's vintage 80's video filming in the 'Mixed Emotions' music video
Is there any slowing down what’s brewing from The New 1017 these days? Turns out rap artist Mac Critter is showing no signs of slowing down and keeps delivering courtesy of the new ‘Mixed Emotions’ single.
Is there any slowing down what’s brewing from The New 1017 these days? Turns out rap artist Mac Critter is showing no signs of slowing down and keeps delivering courtesy of the new ‘Mixed Emotions’ single.
The new song itself goes hard but putting out a visual, too? Super tough. Tap in.
The somber song provides fans with a different perspective of Critter as he raps about how the hustle keeps him focused over a melodic beat. The video, directed by Liquid Chrome, has a nostalgic aesthetic reminiscent of an 1980s home video. Critter also gives fan a personal side of his life in the visual as he spends time at home in his backyard with his dog while flashing wades of money.
This visual comes off the heels of Critter’s prior single, “All It” and his two-disc project HIM 2 which serves as the follow to his debut mixtape, HIM and the official visual for “Blur My Vision” featuring BigWalkDog. The project features 16 tracks on disc one and eight previously released tracks on disc two. HIM 2 also includes appearances from Gucci Mane, YTB Fatt, Sett, Young Scooter, BigWalkDog and Lil Double 0.
Mac Critter signed to The New 1017 label at the end of 2022, and it was only a few months later when the Memphis native’s talents were recognized by his peers and industry tastemakers. Dropping music consistently from the start, his music was shared on Instagram by now fellow labelmate, Sett, and was instantly put on Gucci Mane’s radar. “Wop saw it and was like, ‘Damn’,” smiles Mac Critter. “I had never met him before then, but he was a big influence on my life. We were always listening to Wop. When he reached out to me, he felt where I was coming from. God blessed me with this opportunity now. I’ve been putting in work. I’m in a bigger position; I want to put my family in a position to be straight forever.”
Thus far, Critter has garnered 47M+ US Streams and 21M+ YouTube views. Mac Critter is solidifying his place on the Memphis rap scene as hits like “Burst"continue to grow. “Burst” has now accumulated 760k+ US streams to date and 343k+ YouTube views. Be on the lookout for new music as he solidifies himself in the Memphis rap scene!
ABOUT MAC CRITTER
Mac Critter may often conceal his face with a signature ski mask, but it only draws more attention to his voice and his story. The Memphis rapper flaunts a fiery flow punctuated by a croaky cadence, woozy inflection, and quotable rhymes. He channels trials and tribulations into a tight and tough style of his own. Generating millions of streams and views and attracting Gucci Mane and The New 1017 to his corner, he puts his stamp on the game with a series of singles and his debut project, HIM, in 2023. He angled himself towards a breakthrough by releasing music at a prolific clip of “damn-near a project per month” and generating over 3 million views and counting.
Across tapes such as Return, Project X with Tony Show, Red-Demption, HIM, Da Menace, and many others, he gained traction with tracks like “Kids Sing,” “Torture,” “SPIN THE BLOCK,” and “MR SPIN THE BLOC” as well as “LASER QUEST” and “MURDA” both featuring Lil Double-O. Rising through the ranks, he even caught Future’s attention and gained his support. Serendipitously, fellow recent 1017 signee Sett bumped Mac Critter’s tunes on his story, and Gucci Mane instantly reached out. Now, he pops off on bangers a la Gucci Mane’s “Shit Crazy (Remix)” [feat. BIG30, Sett, & Mac Critter]. No matter the setting, he instantly shines with infectious and irresistible intensity. In the end, you’re going to remember Mac Critter the moment you hear him because he encodes an enduring message in this gritty vision.
Lil Q: The Memphis rap diva turns completely up with the 'Who Dat (Make It Clap)' music video
Need to get moving around at the start of the week? Look no further than what hip-hop newcomer Lil Q is serving up courtesy of the ‘Who Dat (Make It Clap)’ music video.
Need to get moving around at the start of the week? Look no further than what hip-hop newcomer Lil Q is serving up courtesy of the ‘Who Dat (Make It Clap)’ music video.
The energy is non-stop and she delivers from start to finish with the new cinematic offering. Peep the details and keep scrolling to see Q in her rap bag.
18-year-old Lil Q might look delicate, but appearances can be deceiving. Armed with a snapping flow and a bottomless bag of bars, the Memphis native displays just a fraction of what she can do on "Who Dat (Make It Clap)," her new single and music video. Produced by BLWYRMND (Offset, Tinashe, IDK), "Who Dat" does not need much to inspire pandemonium, just crisp snares and 808s boosted enough to make walls shake. Lil Q uses her force of personality to fill in the copious negative space, her sirenic southern drawl sitting halfway between "cheerleader" and "drill sergeant" as she makes sure listeners know exactly who they're dealing with: "And I'm gettin' A's and B's, none these b*tches C'ing me/I put that Dawg up in D, and I make this sh*t look E-Z," she spits.
The new single arrives with a music video that showcases Q's compelling screen presence. Dressed in all-white everything, the young artist performs in front of a white background, before the screen transforms to illustrate her lyrics and show clips from her recent high school graduation.
Growing up in Memphis, Lil Q developed a love for music at a young age, inspired by artists like Kendrick Lamar, Meek Mill, and others. Though her family was not very musical, she found an early sparring partner in her older brother, Freeband Lil Steve, who she would cypher with in their parents' home. While she started recording as early as 13, her primary focus during her teen years was basketball–Q was a high-level AAU player, and while she excelled, her heart lay not in athletics, but her artistic pursuits. Still, her basketball career helped her build a local profile that aided her rapping ambitions, giving her a social platform to showcase her talent and drawing attention of popping local rappers like Big Boogie, Gloss Up, and Glockianna. Last year, Q earned praise from ABC 24 Memphis after winning the legendary Stax Academy’s Mic Drop Talent Showcase. Q recently strutted her stuff with a live performance of her song "Going In: Reloaded" on On The Radar, and showed her prodigious freestyling ability on Memphis's own "Famous Animal."
This Fall, as she prepared to launch her rap career into a new stratosphere, Lil Q and her family were rocked by a tragedy: the passing of her brother Lil Steve. Growing up in Memphis, Lil Q had experienced loss before, but the loss of her brother, who was the first supporter of her rap music, took a massive toll. Lil Q resolves to honor his memory by becoming the star he knew she can be, honoring his memory with every word of every verse.
Sett: It's big bucks and flash glowing in the 'Last Hook' music video
There’s plenty to smile about these days if you’re Sett. New music and getting the cameras rolling as seen in big flexes like the new ‘Last Hook’ music video? Tough.

It’s all types of must-see action, big spending and big grinning from start to finish. Peep the details and keep scrolling to see Sett glowing up.
The visual was shot by 6K Jefe and shows Sett rapping in front of giant speakers with glares of flashing neon lights. On the song, the Memphis native talks about being humble and not taking life for granted as this could be his last hook on a song. He goes on to express gratitude for being able to expose his friends to the finer things in life and being a boss in his own right. The release of the visual for “Last Hook” comes off the heels of Sett’s two prior videos, “300,” “Lawless” and “He Ain’t”.
Sett made his mark on The New 1017 this summer with his highly-anticipated debut mixtape Life of a SlimeCrook, a two-disc project with 19 new tracks that consists of appearances from Key Glock, NLE Choppa, Rob49, NoCap, Co3, and Action Pack on disc one. Disc two features 10 previously released singles with appearances from Gucci Mane, Finesse2Tymes, and label mates Mac Critter and KATO2X along with production from with Grammy-award winning producer Tay Keith.
Life of a SlimeCrook symbolizes how Sett is a 'smooth criminal' in his music. Signed to The New 1017 label at the end of 2022, it was only a few months later when Sett's talents were recognized by his peers and industry tastemakers. “2 For 1” was the final standalone single prior to the release of his debut mixtape and comes on the heels of his breakout Memphis anthems, “Piss Sett Off” (7.8M streams to date, #1 on Spotify Local Pulse Memphis chart, #52 on Spotify Top Songs Memphis, #1 Shazam in Memphis) and “Snap” (highest weekly streaming number to date, #1 on Spotify Memphis Local Pulse Chart). With his string of releases piling up, Sett will continue to flood the market with hit after hit.
Sett was also featured on Audiomack’s 10 Rappers You Should Know Right Now. The Memphis native is proving he’s the real deal while solidifying his spot in the Memphis rap scene with co-signs from fellow Memphis peers, Finesse2Tymes, NLE Choppa and Moneybagg Yo. Musical talent also runs in Sett’s family as he is also the cousin of fellow Memphis rapper Pooh Shiesty.
Need to learn more about Sett? Want to understand more about his Southern roots? Say less.
When you think of Memphis, TN from the outside, landmarks like Sun Studio, Graceland, or Beale Street may immediately come to mind. At the bottom of the city though, you will find South Vegas. This stretch of town flaunts its own “lingo” and what locals refer to as “a little casino with fast cars and gambling.” Sett calls this neighborhood home. He absorbs the unrestrained energy around him and transfers it into searing and scorching rhymes. Piling up millions of views and streams, he welcomes everyone into this world on his forthcoming debut for The New 1017/Atlantic Records and more to come.
“On our street, there’s fools stealing, gambling, and racing all day every day,” he notes. “We’ve got our own way. Everyone knows what’s up with us. Memphis definitely inspired me. It’s different. It’s the new Houston or Atlanta. I’m real; I’m not acting. I’m going to give the city hope though, and I’m setting it off.”
As the ninth of ten kids, he learned how to be heard at a young age. Shuffling in and out of jail, he lost his mom and older brother, but he found purpose in music. Before passing, his late friend Cam encouraged him to rap in 2020, and he adopted the name “Sett” as a nod to the classic film Set It Off. “I’ve been losing people all my life,” he laments. “This is real life, so I put it in the music.”
He gained traction with “Free Marvin”—a tribute to his incarcerated brother—before landing back behind bars. After hearing Sett on “GOT MOTION” featuring TayG in 2022, Gucci Mane signed him to The New 1017. “Gucci got me out,” he recalls. “He had confidence in me. He said, ‘We’re going to get this paper’. He showed me how to get myself right. He’s very wise. I watched him, and I learned to make everything count.”
During 2022, the buzzing rapper ignited his next era with “Break Out Dat Cake” with Gucci Mane. Right out of the gate, it gathered over 700k streams and 500K YouTube views. On its heels, he tore through a Zaytoven beat on “First Day in the A.” He consistently developed an incendiary flow punctuated by hard-hitting hooks. “I’m different,” he says. “I have my own joint. I’m not forcing it. I’m not in competition with anyone. I do what I do. I stick in my lane. I can run anybody over.”
Now, he’s about to take off at full speed. “When you hear my songs, I hope you’re motivated,” he leaves off. “I stand firm on everything. If I want this shit, I’m going to get it. You can just make it happen. I’m proof you can.”
EST Gee: The new 'A Moment With Gotti' music video lives up to its title

Let’s just keep it 100 - there’s something special brewing out of the South. Especially when you connect Kentucky’s EST Gee with Memphis legend Yo Gotti in their new ‘A Moment With Gotti’ music video.
The chemistry ignites immediately and the major on-screen flexing? Super tough. It’s all eyes on the duo for just over two minutes.
Rising Louisville superstar EST Gee teams with Yo Gotti on relentless new single “A Moment With Gotti” from forthcoming album El Toro 2, which was teased via Gee’s social channels earlier this week. A continuation of Gee’s 2019 debut mixtape, El Toro, the forthcoming El Toro 2 pays homage to the Louisville native’s early career while simultaneously showcasing his exponential growth over the past four years. Stream “A Moment With Gotti” (CMG Records/ Warlike/ Interscope Records) by EST Gee featuring Yo Gotti.
“A Moment With Gotti” comes in the wake of MAD, the mixtape that bolstered Gee’s reputation as one of rap’s most honest writers, and “Turn the Streets Up,” the agile single from earlier this summer that will also appear on El Toro 2. Prior to MAD, Gee could be heard on Gangsta Art, a CMG compilation that features the label’s all-star roster; his joint album with 42 Dugg, Last Ones Left, which was met with critical acclaim and debuted at No. 7 on the Billboard 200; and on his blockbuster debut album, last fall’s I Never Felt Nun, which was also hailed by critics, and reached No. 8 on the same Billboard chart.
Gee’s string of successful releases dates back to 2021 with his acclaimed mixtape, Bigger Than Life Or Death which reached No. 7 on the Billboard 200 chart, captured the No. 1 spot on Apple’s All-Genre chart and elevated his career to the next level. In 2021 he also collaborated with Lil Baby, Young Thug, Lil Durk and many more, received MAJOR co-signs including Jay-Z and Drake, performed on Jimmy Kimmel Live! with fellow Louisville rapper, Jack Harlow, and garnered praise from Complex, who named him “One of the Best Rappers in Their 20’s”, The New York Times, who crowned BTLOD one of “Best Albums of 2021” and topped Rolling Stone’s Breakthrough 25 Chart. The Louisville native reached a new career milestone in Oct. 2022, when he shined during his first-ever, nationally-televised performance at the BET Hip-Hop Awards alongside Jeezy. He also delivered on his collaborations, cracking the Billboard Hot 100 with fiery verses on Future’s “CHICKENS” and Lil Baby’s “Back and Forth.” Gee has cemented himself as one of the top rising artists in the game and, as fans like to call him, “your favorite rapper’s, favorite rapper.”

Young Dolph: It's all about the 'Love For The Streets' for the late Memphis icon
Memphis rapper Young Dolph’s legacy will never be in doubt so it’s only right to keep his memory going with the new ‘Love For The Streets’ music video. It’s hard-hitting and reminds you why Dolph was a one of one.

Peep the details and keep scrolling for the full-fledged visual.
Young Dolph built his empire from the ground up, in the streets of Memphis that he called home. Today, the label he built, Paper Route Empire, shares the new video for “Love For The Streets,” the opening song from his posthumous album Paper Route Frank.
The video for “Love For The Streets” opens with an audio clip of Dolph explaining that he wrapped his fleet of luxury cars in the same, signature camouflage wrap, not for the love of the cars themselves, but to be different: “I’m doing stuff that can’t nobody do, and that’s the hardest thing to do, is stand out.” As the clip fades into the track’s introduction, the camouflaged convoy takes to the streets of Memphis, passing local landmarks like the memorialized Adolph “Young Dolph” Thornton, Jr. Avenue and the Dolph Land memorial mural in Castalia, with old footage of Dolph interspersed as though he never left. At the video’s closing, Dolph is seen toasting his Paper Route Empire family as he lays out his plans to keep the empire growing, saying, “I love all y’all. This sh*t living forever.”
The video for “Love For The Streets” arrives as Paper Route Empire continues to work harder than ever to honor Dolph’s legacy and continue to fulfill his vision. Last month, Key Glock shared his new album Glockoma 2, before embarking on SiriusXM’s Hip-Hop Nation Presents: Key Glock – Glockoma Tour, where he honors his mentor every night with a performance of “100 Shots.” Tickets for SiriusXM’s Hip-Hop Nation Presents: Key Glock – Glockoma Tour are available now at keyglock.com. Fans of Dolph and Glock can pay tribute to Dolph at the traveling Dolphland museum, which has made stops in New York, Dallas, Los Angeles, Denver, San Antonio, Chicago, and Washington, DC, with upcoming dates in Atlanta and Memphis to be announced soon.
Released in December, Paper Route Frank drips with the same commanding charisma and booming Tennessee bass that defines Dolph's impeccable catalog. Featuring appearances by Gucci Mane, 2 Chainz, PRE’s own Key Glock, Big Moochie Grape, and SNUPE BANDZ, Paper Route Frank is available everywhere via Paper Route Empire.

The anthem hits extra hard and clocking in at nearly five minutes in length, it’s all types of cinematic value. Peep the details and keep scrolling to see how Choppa is taking over the next 12 months.
Today, Memphis hip-hop sensation NLE Choppa kicks off the new year with his celebratory-yet-menacing new single “23.” True to form, the 20-year-old makes no bones about his undeniable stature in the rap world, calling out detractors and listing goals throughout the no-holds-barred track.
Boasting an elegant string arrangement punctuated by a bombastic beat, NLE lets everyone know exactly where he stands. “New year, new me, it’s 2023,” he proclaims over the booming production. “Old shit ain’t going for it — this newer me probably knew me last year, but you don’t know me.” It’s clear the breakout artist has points to make and fires off lyrical barbs at will, often with highly quotable results.
“23” is the latest in a cavalcade of introspective music from the rapper. Recently, the hitmaker linked with 2Rare for the lighthearted dance hit “Do It Again,” where he proclaims, “Victim of love, won’t get me again.” The single is steadily climbing the charts, approaching Top 10 at radio with 6.9 billion global streams and over 17 million YouTube views for the video.
The new single is a taste of what’s to come from Choppa’s sophomore album, slated for release this spring. Leading up to it, he’ll be promoting the NLE Reading challenge across the country to empower youth in low-income and at-risk environments. Self proclaimed “Awakened Choppa” will be making pop-up appearances on his vegan food truck, This Can’t Be Vegan Food to encourage healthy eating habits in the hood and sharing his travel adventures on his highly popular YouTube channel.
Since topping Billboard’s Emerging Artists chart for a record-breaking 24 weeks in 2019, cracking the Billboard 200 albums chart with 2020’s Top Shotta, and earning a spot on Billboard’s 21 Under 21 list, NLE has established his superstar credentials. Now with “23,” he’s leveling up yet again.
Moneybagg Yo and GloRilla clash as a frustrated couple in 'On Wat U On' music video
Memphis rapper Moneybagg Yo and GloRilla really have one with their new ‘On Wat U On.’ While couples won’t want to admit it in public, for the most part, these types of clashes and arguments happen on the regular. So it’s only right the duo put it on full display courtesy of their new music video.

The single goes hard but the visual is extra hard-hitting. Peep the details and keep scrolling to feel the energy they both deliver on-camera.
Tennessee rappers Moneybagg Yo and GloRilla join forces for the ferocious new single “On Wat U On,” out today via CMG/N-Less/Interscope Records. The ready-made crowd-pleaser, which finds the collaborators trading bars, cleverly breaks down a lover’s quarrel. The no-holds-barred track is accompanied by a fiery video that captures a heated argument about trust and infidelity.
Over a classic, bass-heavy beat and propulsive piano arrangement, Bagg expresses exasperation about the work it takes to make romance go the distance. “Asking me ‘bout b****es in a city that she think I’m f***ing,” he spits, “Look dead in her eyes before I lie, I’d rather tell her nothing.” GloRilla isn’t about to take that disrespect and fires back: “Ain’t got s*** to say now huh, dumbass?” As catchy as it is relatable, “On Wat U On” is a surefire hit.
The visualizer takes a literal approach, showing a couple in the midst of a heated argument. Inspired by scenes from the cult classic movie “Baby Boy,” GloRilla finds a pack of contraceptives in the backseat when they pull up to a drive-thru window and calls out Bagg. The back-and-forth makes its way back to their apartment, and finally outside again, where Glo picks up a large rock and aims for his windshield to truly show her anger.
“On Wat U On” arrives a month after Moneybagg Yo released his titillating track “Quickie.” Prior to that, the hitmaker appeared on the CMG compilation Gangsta Art. One of his contributions, a collaboration with Yo Gotti, Mozzy, and Lil Poppa called “Big League,” was chosen as the official song of the 2022 NBA Finals. Moneybagg Yo has also established himself as a supreme scout and developer of talent: his artist BIG30 was recently tapped as part of XXL’s latest Freshman Class.
In just a few short years, Moneybagg Yo has established himself as one of the hottest voices in the club and on the streets. The rapper has been nominated for Billboard Music Awards and iHeartRadio Awards, received acclaim from publications like Pitchfork and the New York Times, and collaborated with A-list stars like Kanye West, 2 Chainz, and YG — with whom he recently performed on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.
Now with “On Wat U On,” Bagg is poised to add another hit to his stacked discography with a little help from hometown breakout GloRilla.
Jay Fizzle delivers late night fun in 'Won't Cost Shit' music video

Jay Fizzle is having too much fun these days and shows no signs of slowing down. The hip-hop artist comes through with the visual treatment to his new ‘Won’t Cost Shit’ anthem.
From turning up in the strip club to throwing stacks up in the studio, it’s all mind-blowing vibes in the eye-opening visual. Peep the details and keep scrolling to see Jay in his music bag.
Jay Fizzle floats above Tennessee trap instrumentals, delivering sturdy street stories with a fast-talking flow. Celebrating his success with his chosen family, the Paper Route Empire rapper shares the new video for "Won't Cost Sh*t." Riding an atmospheric instrumental and toe-tagging the thudding percussion, Fizzle puts on a master class in flexing like only he can: "So much ice around my neck I coulda bought a 'Rari/Plus I walk in with my strap, reach for my chain you get it poppin/Got all these racks they think I sold my soul to 'luminati/They say 'how he get so rich but he ain't never went to college'?" In the video, Fizzle shows the world how he moves in Memphis, flashing his racks and his ice, sitting in the front trunk of his purple Tesla, and hosts a raucous party in the city, with guests like PRE brethren Key Glock, PaperRoute Woo, and many others. "Won't Cost Sh*t" is the latest clip from DonaFizzo, Fizzle's latest album, following in the wake of the star-studded “Dust Town Livin” ft. Big Scarr & Big Moochie Grape.
Released last month, DonaFizzo finds Jay fitting his flow into unexpected pockets on each stellar instrumental–including beats from heavy-hitters like Bandplay, Ayoza, and Sosa 808–with mutant-like machismo. With a style inspired by his own Master Splinter, Young Dolph, Fizzle’s desire to ascend from the gutter can be felt in every track. From the arcade villain-esque “Nike Check,” to the Mission: Impossible-esque bounce of “50 Freaky B*tches” ft. 21 Lil Harold, to the furiously flex-heavy “Nothing Into Something,” DonaFizzo hits harder than a bo-staff from start to finish.
With a knack for invention embodied in every flow he creates, it’s not hard to see why Jay Fizzle identifies so closely with his favorite purple Ninja Turtle, Donatello. Enlisting Big Scarr and fellow Paper Route Empire artist Big Moochie Grape as his fellow Memphis Mutants, Fizzle shares the new video for “Dust Town Livin” from his recent mixtape, DonaFizzo. The track finds Fizzle laying the groundwork for the trio’s pursuit of the paper, casting Scarr and Moochie as his Leonardo and Rafael with each artist’s unique talents combining to heighten the strength of the team.
DonaFizzo is the latest salvo in a busy year for Jay Fizzle and the rest of PRE. Fizzle kicked off the year with purpose, sharing “LLD,” a heartfelt tribute to his mentor Young Dolph. Adorned with lush harmonies and a star vocal turn from Ricco Barrino, “Long Live Dolph” finds Jay Fizzle baring his soul, the South Memphis native audibly emotional when he relays his gratitude to his mentor for teaching him everything he knows: “The way I talk, the way I walk, the way I act, the way I dress/The way I do my thing up in the booth, I learned it from the best.” With over 1.8 million views on YouTube, “LLD” is the opening track from Paper Route Empire Presents: Long Live Dolph, a compilation album from the independent label, which features appearances from nearly every artist on PRE, including Key Glock, Big Moochie Grape, Kenny Muney and more.

So unfortunately Young Dolph’s memorial in Memphis is going to be coming down for now. The whole situation is y’all know Young Dolph got shot and killed back in November of 2021 and it was horrible. He was right inside Makeda’s Cookies, which is a famous cookie spot.
Some people saw him through the window and decided to gun him down. He was shot through the glass and everything. No suspects for now are arrested and there may be people pointing fingers at each other but the whole situation is though, it’s dangerous in Memphis right now.
There’s gunfire going back and forth. One side to the other. So the owner of Makeda’s Cookies wants to reopen her store but she’s like, ‘I cannot reopen it for safety concerns.’ There’s a memorial up and there will be people coming by trying to vandalize the memorial.
They actually vandalized Young Dolph’s gravesite more than once. With that being said the owner said, ‘Listen, I can’t afford security around me 24/7, so we’re not even going to open up the store anymore.’ So Makeda’s Cookies could be in danger of going out of business so the owner of the building itself said, ‘We’re going to try to keep the memorial up as long as we can but we need Makeda’s Cookies to open back up because we need the money. So we’ve gotta take this thing down.’

If you just want to say what up, if you want to tell me you love my videos - you can tell me that you hate my videos but the best way to do that is on Instagram. Peace y’all, Jonny Fastlane here. So, unfortunately, Snootie Wild has passed away. Let’s talk hip-hop.
For y’all that don’t know, Snootie Wild is a rapper from Memphis. He came out with that song a couple years ago, ‘All I know is yayo.’ I think he might have been signed to Yo Gotti back in the day. The whole situation though is that he was in the South Side of Houston on Friday night and all this is on surveillance footage. The cops already know what happened, they just don’t know who did it.
But they saw Snootie Wild kind of back up into an alley by a mistake. Not even on purpose or nothing like that, maybe he was lost or trying to get his footing or whatever. A car pulls up and some dudes get out and they start talking to him and they’re like, ‘Yo, what’s going on?’
Then one of the guys just shoots Snootie Wild in the neck as he’s sitting in his car and they get up out of there. Snootie Wild ends up getting out of his car, I guess he was stumbling and he ends up falling in a ditch in that alley and then that’s where the cops found him.
He was still alive when the cops found him. He had got shot in the neck, they had took him to the hospital and he was in critical condition. So all day people were like ‘R.I.P. Snootie Wild’ and then a statement was actually shared by his management. They came out on Facebook and said, ‘Yo, Snootie Wild is not dead. But he is fighting for his life. Out of respect for the family, please refrain from sharing anything that is not communicated through his official accounts. Thank you.’
We were hoping he would pull through but unfortunately he succumbed to his gunshot wounds. So this is sad. He had a family. He had plans for today.
He was only 36 years old. My condolences go out to his family and all his peoples. This situation is crazy but let me know what y’all think about this in the comments.

Memphis rapper NLE Choppa is hungrier than ever with the passion he’s putting into the music. The rap heavyweight has come through with a hard-hitting and must-see ‘Stompin’ video.
The clip features him doing everything from literally throwing down on a potential neighborhood rival to dressing up as the rap game’s real-life Batman. Check out the new visual and keep scrolling to get put up on NLE Choppa’s rise to the top.
NLE Choppa raps with a confidence, maturity, and magnetism few his age can match. The 19-year-old Memphis superstar came up making street-ready hip-hop full of grit, but his recent hits—and forthcoming Me Vs. Me project—showcase new depth and perspective. To be sure, Choppa still raps his ass off, churning out ecstatic, radio-ready hits. But he also turns inward, reflecting on his devotion to healthy living and numerology, and sharing more of himself than he ever has.
Choppa grew up in the roughest parts of Memphis, an upbringing that’s loomed in his head even as he began racking up successes—including Platinum single “Shotta Flow” and his Top 10 debut album, Top Shotta. His songs about overcoming struggles and celebrating wins have won support from Billboard, The New York Times, Forbes, GQ, and Complex.
And he’s secured support across the rest of the industry too, garnering over 5 billion global streams, thirteen RIAA-certified plaques, a spot on the 2020 XXL Freshman list, and a nomination for the 2020 BET Hip-Hop Awards’ Best New Artist. Never one to rest on his laurels, he’s continued to drop music at an enviable pace, dipping and diving between modes, unleashing raps that are intimidating, inspiring, and hysterical in turn. As one of the most flexible young rappers working, NLE Choppa already has the discography and accolades others dream of, but he’s still only just beginning to share his full vision with the world. With Me Vs. Me, he’ll introduce us to all of himself.

It’s hard to believe there’s ever a reason for him not to rock any ice. There’s everything from shiny diamond watches, rings, bracelets to necklaces.
There’s no sign of his boo Ari Fletcher but you have to imagine she can’t be too far behind. Moneybagg Yo is living up to his name with the wealth to prove it.
Yo Gotti Drops 'For The Record' To Celebrate D.C. United Power Move
Memphis rapper Yo Gotti is making sure the world knows it’s way, way, way deeper than rap in 2021. The hip-hop heavyweight celebrates his now-publicized co-ownership in Major League Soccer team D.C. United.

Granted - this is technically audio instead of a video - but it’s still worthy of getting the video placement and proper respect placed on its name as Gotti touches on his entrepreneurial ambitions, growth as a businessman and determination to lead the way for his CMG protégés.
The song comes days after the game-changing September 27 announcement of joining billionaires Jason Levien and Steve Kaplan as co-owners of the MLS team. It also comes months after Gotti revealed a partnership between his CMG record company and Interscope Geffen A&M with an aim to develop the careers of artists including Moneybagg Yo, 42 Dugg and EST Gee.

This is Cyrus from AttackTheCulture.com with your Tuesday news.
Yes - it’s going to be quite possibly the toughest 30 days of the couple’s relationship goals. Forget any type of affair unless we’re talking cheating on their diet with pasta, bread, fried or meat-based foods. Ari Fletcher has vowed to restrict her diet to only fish/shrimp, veggies, brown rice and water - ONLY.
Instead of staying mum, Moneybagg Yo made sure to share a major co-sign and asked the world to pray for them.
If they’re able to pull through on this diet, their status as near-full vegans will elevate them to the likes of musicians like Miley Cyrus, Billie Eilish and the Carters.
