The 'Hocus Pocus 2' flick is actually really worth watching and bae will agree
Not trying to date myself here but watching the original Hocus Pocus as a kid? Classic. From the acting to the witty characters to just the overall charm of a slightly spooky Halloween movie targeting kids but what parents could enjoy too. We’re talking about Bette Midler after all, right?
Leave it up to Disney+ for coming through clutch with a solid sequel decades later and starring the original cast. Spoiler: This is Date Night approved and for all of the right reasons. It’s simple and fun enough to kick back at home and enjoy plus there’s no need to really have watched the beginning.
So whether you’re like me and dating women of all ages - leaving little chance to the post-2000 women having ever watched this - although the original is such a classic you have to imagine most have seen it in some capacity - or your bae is a hardcore Disney head which loves all these types of releases - it’s worth watching.
It’s also a great at-home movie because you don’t have to worry about dropping stacks on popcorn, beverages and everything in-between for a movie not named Amsterdam or even Halloween Ends. There are just some movies meant to be viewed on the big screen and Hocus Pocus 2 ‘could’ land there but gives you theatrical feel from the comfort of home.
