New York rapper 50 Cent might be a troll at heart but he knows marketing more than the average hip-hop superstar. The Queens native has come through with some teaser snapshots of himself on-set the upcoming Expendables 4 movie.

Fifty went to his Instagram page this week with a couple looks of himself draped in military stitches. 50 shared the pics and confirmed they’re from the upcoming action-packed flick.

50 Cent almost appeared in the Expendables flicks

Over a decade ago, Fifty had plans to appear in the Expendables movie. However, his music career ultimately forced him to fall back.

50 Cent was initially cast in the inaugural Expendables movie in 2009 but ultimately had to turn down the role because it conflicted with a commitment to work with Dr. Dre and Eminem on his fourth studio album Before I Self Destruct, which debuted that November. Ten years on, the fourth installment in the franchise is slated for a premiere sometime in 2022 and will continue the action-packed storyline of its squad of veteran mercenaries.
