AG Club: The fire duo come through blazing with a must-hear 'We're All Brodies' project
In a rush? Not down for 20-plus songs even if they’re fire? Look no further than hip-hop pair AG Club coming through with a solid 3-piece in the form of their new We’re All Brodies studio gem.
AG Club’s ‘We’re All Brodies’ is ready for non-stop streaming
Just a few minutes in fun length, each track hits hard and solidifies their place as infectiously awesome music-making beasts. Audio flames from start to finish, of course.
Back with even more heat, super-duo Jody Fontaine and Baby Boy of AG Club ignite a scorching new three-pack project, “WE’RE ALL BRODIES” out now. Get it HERE via Epic Records.
Once again, the boys show out and reaffirm their status as the most dynamic of duos. “eva” hinges a barrage of relentless fast-paced flows topped off with braggadocios bars and an unexpectedly anthemic hook, “I’m having all the shit.” Elsewhere, off-kilter piano sets the tone for “Barry.” This calm only precedes a storm of tightly crafted lyricism and hilarious verses, “Back in the day I ain’t have no whip, I just pulled up in a motherfucking tank.” Then, there’s “CAJH DAY*.” Flute snakes through the 808s as the guys urge, “I hope you have a very CAJH DAY.” These three tracks find the boys in godmode as lyricists, turning cadences on a dime and speeding up without brakes.
It lands in the wake of this Spring’s two-pack 2MORE. Beyond posting up millions of streams, it earned critical acclaim from HipHopSince1987 and more. Billboardapplauded, “AG Club threw a one-two punch with their new two-pack,” before noting, “the duo strives to flip the industry upside down with their presence.”
Next up, AG Club will take the stage at Tyler, The Creator’s “Camp Flog Gnaw Carnival” on November 12th at Los Angeles’ Dodger Stadium. On the heels of their breakthrough Coachella set earlier this year, it promises to be as unforgettable as everything else they’ve done this year.
Making headlines, NYLON recently christened them “L.A.’s next big music collective”in an in-depth feature, while The Fox Magazine profiled them and attested, “Their sound has been compared to the likes of A$AP Mob and Odd Future, but it’s important to highlight their originality. The guys write their own lyrics inspired directly by life experiences, and it’s their cinematic visuals that inspire their fans that they too can make their wildest dreams come true.” While SF Gate proudly championed their hometown heroes tearing down the stage at Coachella “The flood of thousands of people who filled the audience within five minutes of their show were almost magnetically drawn to the pair’s energy.”
The next era of AG Club is underway now!
