AG Club’s ‘We’re All Brodies’ is ready for non-stop streaming
Just a few minutes in fun length, each track hits hard and solidifies their place as infectiously awesome music-making beasts. Audio flames from start to finish, of course.
Back with even more heat, super-duo Jody Fontaine and Baby Boy of AG Club ignite a scorching new three-pack project, “WE’RE ALL BRODIES” out now. Get it HERE via Epic Records.
Once again, the boys show out and reaffirm their status as the most dynamic of duos. “eva” hinges a barrage of relentless fast-paced flows topped off with braggadocios bars and an unexpectedly anthemic hook, “I’m having all the shit.” Elsewhere, off-kilter piano sets the tone for “Barry.” This calm only precedes a storm of tightly crafted lyricism and hilarious verses, “Back in the day I ain’t have no whip, I just pulled up in a motherfucking tank.” Then, there’s “CAJH DAY*.” Flute snakes through the 808s as the guys urge, “I hope you have a very CAJH DAY.” These three tracks find the boys in godmode as lyricists, turning cadences on a dime and speeding up without brakes.
It lands in the wake of this Spring’s two-pack 2MORE. Beyond posting up millions of streams, it earned critical acclaim from HipHopSince1987 and more. Billboardapplauded, “AG Club threw a one-two punch with their new two-pack,” before noting, “the duo strives to flip the industry upside down with their presence.”
Next up, AG Club will take the stage at Tyler, The Creator’s “Camp Flog Gnaw Carnival” on November 12th at Los Angeles’ Dodger Stadium. On the heels of their breakthrough Coachella set earlier this year, it promises to be as unforgettable as everything else they’ve done this year.
Making headlines, NYLON recently christened them “L.A.’s next big music collective”in an in-depth feature, while The Fox Magazine profiled them and attested, “Their sound has been compared to the likes of A$AP Mob and Odd Future, but it’s important to highlight their originality. The guys write their own lyrics inspired directly by life experiences, and it’s their cinematic visuals that inspire their fans that they too can make their wildest dreams come true.” While SF Gate proudly championed their hometown heroes tearing down the stage at Coachella “The flood of thousands of people who filled the audience within five minutes of their show were almost magnetically drawn to the pair’s energy.”
The next era of AG Club is underway now!
AG Club are hitting hard with their new 'Mr. Put It On' music video
Normally this would find itself in the videos section but when you have a song and music video hitting as hard as ‘Mr. Put It On’ does, you can’t help but give it prime time positioning. AG Club flex their partnership with Epic Records by releasing the new effort to the masses just in time for al the Friday releases.

AG Club drop ‘Mr. Put It On’ with Epic Records
The Bay Area’s fastest supergroup - AG Club - come through clutch with their new anthem on all digital streaming platforms. The release comes off the heels of major anticipation after they teased the track earlier in the month.

Over frenetic production punctuated by 808s and buoyant samples, Baby Boy and Jody Fontaine spit sidewinder sharp bars, locking into an unbreakable back-and-forth. With energy teeming like a powder keg, their rhymes collide with an instantly irresistible chant. In the accompanying visual directed by Ivan Collaco of their production team CAJH, AG Club turn up in a suburban neighborhood guerilla-style under the guise of “youth pastors”who are “demonstrating, like the terrors of sagging your pants.” They smash guitars, rap through a magnifying glass, and cause all manner of mayhem.
“We just tryna keep the energy up,” says Jody Fontaine. “We’re pushing for more consistency this year, so I hope anyone and everyone supporting us is ready to eat, ‘cause our season has only just begun!”
AG Club have incited widespread acclaim since the release of their EP Halfway Off The Porch in 2020, which includes their breakthrough single “Memphis.” The headlines don’t lie. Highsnobiety raved, “AG Club is redefining the boy band,” and Complex exclaimed, “AG Club: Keeping the DIY Spirit Alive in Music.” i-D crowned them “the Bay Area music collective you wish you could join,” and FLAUNT noted, “AG Club / Not your average hip-hop group.” UPROXX also dubbed them, “The Youthful, Disruptive Rap Band You Need To Know,” while Pigeons & Planes named them a 2021 Artist to Watch. They packed dates on their 2021 headline run, “Fuck Your Expectations” Tour, and graced the bills of Lollapalooza, Day n Vegas, and more. Between Halfway Off The Porch and 2021 2-part album Fuck Your Expectations PT. 1 & 2, they’ve collaborated with names like A$AP Ferg, NLE Choppa, ICECOLDBISHOP and more.
AG Club have been doing this for a long time
Well, maybe they haven’t done this for a ‘very’ long time but the Avant Garde Club have remained hungry and grinding dating back to 2017. Baby Boy and Jody Fontaine have such an epic sound and connection you can’t help but co-sign.
To be labeled avant garde, you have to always think outside the box. As genre lines continue to bend in music, new artists are experimenting with ways to express themselves through multiple influences and interests. The DIY spirit has been resurrected in crews like Odd Future, A$AP Mob, and Brockhampton, inspiring the next wave of social misfits to be just as impactful with their creativity and art. Poised to make a name for themselves is Avant Garde Club (AG Club for short), a 14-member group of creatives from the East Bay that is made up of musicians, directors, filmmakers, content creators, photographers, and designers.
Some projects you gotta listen to
Over the past few years, they’ve put out some projects and even linked with Memphis’ NLE Choppa and Harlem’s own A$AP Ferg.
Founded in 2017 after lead performers Baby Boy and Jody Fontaine connected in a session, the collective’s members developed their tastes through a wi-fi connection, expanding their influences and branding themselves beyond genres. After releasing In My Mind: The Prequel in 2019 and Halfway Off the Porch in 2020—the latter of which yielded their breakout single, “Memphis” and a remix that tapped NLE Choppa and A$AP Ferg—the group delivered parts one and two of Fuck Your Expectations in 2021 to acclaim. With a foothold in all aspects of creative, AG Club are poised to continue their eruptive rise through 2022 and beyond.
