Dax: Of course the rap lyricist is delivering summer heat with his 'What is Life' album

If there’s one thing you can count on when it comes to hip-hop artist Dax? Lyricism. Boom boom. It’s as simple as hearing him piece together words in the most intricate ways which is pretty mind-blowing so it’s only right to geek out over the news he’s putting out a What is Life EP for the masses this month.

Dax’s new ‘What is Life’ EP arrives August 18

While you’ll have to wait another week before grabbing the project, Dax’s seven-song title is slated to arrive mid-August and precede an upcoming cross-country tour.

The 7-track project bends genres and pushes boundaries as Dax continues to make a name for himself in the music industry by creating topic-driven music that sparks conversation. What is Life features previously released tracks “God’s Eyes,” “To Be A Man,” and the nearly Platinum-certified single “Dear Alcohol.” Our focus track upon release will be the project’s final song “Life” with an official video for opening track “The Abyss” dropping on EP release day (August 18). See full tracklisting below.

In support of What is Life, Dax will embark on a US tour this fall with Phix supporting. The 14-date run kicks off October 6 in Iowa and includes stops in Minneapolis, Chicago, Louisville, and more before concluding in Denver on October 26. Ahead of his US dates, Dax will perform throughout Canada in September – visit https://daxofficial.com/pages/tour for full routing, tickets and more information.
