As anticipation builds for the two-episode premiere set to go down on November 24 - yup, a day before Thanksgiving - the epic clip features both Jeremy Renner and the stunning Hailee Steinfeld sharing camera time both on and off-screen.
Stars Jeremy Renner, Hailee Steinfeld, Vera Farmiga, Tony Dalton, Alaqua Cox, Fra Fee, Brian d’Arcy James, Aleks Paunovic, Piotr Adamczyk, Clayton English, Carlos Navarro, Adetinpo Thomas, Robert Walker-Branchaud and Adelle Drahosand joined director/EP Rhys Thomas and directing duo Bert & Bertie tonight at Hollywood’s El Capitan Theatre to celebrate the upcoming launch of Marvel Studios’ “Hawkeye” on Disney+. Guests screened the first two episodes of the six-episode event that launches Wednesday, November 24 on Disney+. The new featurette features Renner and Steinfeld joining directors Thomas and Bert & Bertie to explore the great dynamic between Clint and Kate.
Marvel Studios’ “Hawkeye” is an original new series set in post-blip New York City where former Avenger Clint Barton aka Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner) has a seemingly simple mission: get back to his family for Christmas. But when a threat from his past shows up, Hawkeye reluctantly teams up with Kate Bishop (Hailee Steinfeld), a 22-year-old skilled archer and his biggest fan, to unravel a criminal conspiracy. The series also features Vera Farmiga, Fra Fee, Tony Dalton, Zahn McClarnon, Brian d’Arcy James and newcomer Alaqua Cox as Maya Lopez. “Hawkeye” is helmed by Rhys Thomas (eps 1,2 & 6) and directing duo Bert and Bertie (eps 3,4 & 5). Executive producers are Kevin Feige, Louis D’Esposito, Victoria Alonso, Trinh Tran, Brad Winderbaum, Rhys Thomas and Jonathan Igla.
