Here's a rundown of this week's 'Hip Hop Homicides' finale

There’s no doubting how much WE tv’s ‘Hip Hop Homicides’ has contributed to the culture with its hard-hitting and pretty amazing series centered on the deaths of some of the rap game’s biggest names. So of course this week’s finale is going to bring it all full circle and have viewers ready for the re-up in 2023.

The ‘Hip Hop Homicides’ finale airs this week

After looking into the lives of everyone from Pop Smoke and King Von to Magnolia Shorty, the WE tv show ends the journey by looking into the rise of Chicago’s FBG Duck.

On Thursday, December 22nd at 9PM ET/8PM CT, FBG Duck helped define the signature sound of Chicago Drill Music only to be gunned down in a mob style hit on the city’s streets. Was he murdered because of his street ties? His disrespectful music? Or was he just from the wrong block in Chicago?

Giving a voice for the voiceless, TV personality and producer, Van Lathan, examines the staggering number of murders in the Hip Hop community. From Pop Smoke to XXXTentacion, the weekly series from Executive Producers Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson & Mona Scott-Young, takes a closer look at these shocking crimes, with the hope of providing loved ones and fans with the closure they seek. Dissecting the facts, exploring leads and featuring exclusive one-on-one interviews with those closest to the fallen…the series taps into artists such as French Montana, Juvenile, Mannie Fresh, Vic Mensa and many more, who share valuable insights throughout the season. The streets were talking, but no one was listening…until now.
