Inayah pours her soul into the new 'Insecure' EP

R&B singer Inayah isn’t holding back with the wordplay. Instead, she’s going all-out with her lyrics and coming strong courtesy of her new Insecure EP.

Inayah’s ‘Insecure’ EP is streaming everywhere

The studio effort comes packed with nearly 10 songs and each one goes hard. Inayah comes clean on everything from life and love to postpartum while also delivering visuals like her ‘Truth Is’ to the masses.

Embracing the good and the bad, the highs and the lows, EMPIRE’s R&B royalty Inayah officially releases her most vulnerable project to date with Insecure. To coincide with the confessional EP’s release, Inayah also gave music enthusiasts powerful visuals for the track “Truth Is.”

Insecure is an emotional rollercoaster of me attempting to sanely navigate my postpartum journey. The project healed me and I hope that it can touch and do the same for anyone listening.” -Inayah

Not a stranger to creating music based on her personal experiences and life changes, Insecure highlights the lyricist’s journey from finding love, becoming a mother for a second time to facing her own self-doubt and postpartum battle. Always giving listeners an unfiltered relatable look into her own personal reality, the eight track EP will take listeners on a ride of lows and triumphant highs. The Houston native’s Insecure project follows the success of her 2021 EP Side A, and her RIAA Gold Certified single “Best Thing” which hit over 48 million views.
