Jay Fizzle: The Paper Route Empire heavyweight delivers with 'F**k Being Famous'

Dropping a song is cool but it’s even more of a big flex when you have a full-fledged studio effort, right Jay Fizzle? Turns out the Memphis rap heavyweight is coming through with a much-needed F**k Being Famous studio mixtape for your listening pleasures.

Jay Fizzle’s ‘F**k Being Famous’ has arrived

Loaded with anthems and cover art delivering all types of messaging, it’s start to finish goals with Jay’s newest release now up for grabs.

Jay Fizzle's brand of flex-heavy, slick-talking street music has established him as one of Memphis's most respected street rappers. Content with his status in his city as he rejects the spotlight and hangers-on that comes with success, Jay Fizzle just released his newest mixtape, F**K BEING FAMOUS, out now via Paper Route Empire.

Putting on for PRE for over half a decade, Jay Fizzle is a master of the searing street rap that serves as the bass-booming heart of Memphis music. The mixtape features appearances from his PRE family, like Big Moochie Grape and SNUPE BANDZ, and a guest spot from his high-powered peer 03 Greedo. On this project, Fizzle leans into his knack for invention as he hones his flow into unexpected pockets.

Fizzle proves to have excellent chemistry with L.A. legend 03 Greedo on the ultra-funky "Still The Same," as the two bond over their enduring love for the color purple, and he goes toe-to-toe with Chicago rapper Kash Mirr on the steely "Blackout." Fizzle leans into his knack for invention on this tape as he hones his flow into unexpected pockets. Home to the single “Dickie Set” where we see Fizzle bobbing and weaving over menacing keys, finding every which way to get to the bag.
