Moneybagg Yo and Sexyy Red unleash their ‘Big Dawg’

It’s all types of turning up vibes between the Memphis and Missouri natives. The duo come through with their hard-hitting new single and sparks off even bigger news of a new Gangsta Art 2 compilation album for the masses.

Memphis artist, established entrepreneur and CMG/NLESS multi-platinum recording artist, Moneybagg Yo joins forces with St. Louis upstart Sexyy Red for the anthemic new single “Big Dawg.” The track boasts mesmerizing interplay between the two artists over bone-rattling beats and sleek production. It's the latest win for Bagg in a year that is proving to continue to be a major breakthrough. Listen HERE via CMG/N-Less/Interscope Records. “Big Dawg” is set to appear on CMG The Label’s highly anticipated, forthcoming compilation album “Gangsta Art 2” set to release Friday, September 29th.

“I want a big dawg, a big dawg,” Red proclaims at the start of the track. "You ain’t got no bag, you can’t even look at me, n***a.” Later, Bagg chimes in to remind his collaborator of his financial bonafides. “She like my grillz, so when we fuck and I'm on top, she lick my teeth," he raps, before listing his favorite brands: "Prada, Balenciaga, Louis V." It's the kind of unfiltered banger that showcases both their strengths and creative chemistry.

"Big Dawg" is Bagg’s first track since dropping his sprawling mixtape Hard to Love, which was released this summer. The highly praised project includes hits such as “F My BM,”“Quickie,” the RIAA Gold Certified, “On Wat U On” featuring GloRilla, “Motion God,”“Keep It Low” featuring Future, “Ocean Spray,” which served as the first single and received support from Rolling Stone, Billboard, XXL, The FADER, and more.  Needless to say, the prolific rapper is keeping the hits and pointed bars coming at unprecedented speed.

Following the immense success of CMG’s debut compilation, Gangsta Art, next week the allstar roster is set to release Gangsta Art 2. The album boasts a combination of mega collaborations and solo tracks from CMG CEO Yo Gotti and the esteemed record label’s star-studded artists that includes Moneybagg Yo, Blac Youngsta, EST Gee, 42 Dugg, GloRilla, Mozzy, Lil Poppa, Big Boogie, and Lehla Samia

In just a few years, Bagg has cemented himself as one of the most versatile hip-hop voices in the club and on the streets. Beyond the undying love he receives from his hometown, he’s been celebrated by critics and fellow rappers alike. He has been nominated for Billboard Music Awards and iHeartRadio Awards, received acclaim from publications like Pitchfork and the New York Times, seen his collaboration with Yo Gotti, Mozzy, and Lil Poppa, “Big League,” chosen as the official song of the 2022 NBA Finals, and collaborated with A-list stars like Kanye West, 2 Chainz, and YG.

He also just wrapped up his “Larger Than Life” tour where he performed plethora of his catalog including his No. 1 hits that topped the radio charts including, “Said Sum,” “Time Today,” “Wockesha,” and “Scorpio.” The tour featured support from Finesse2tymes, Sexxy Red, Luh Tyler, Big Boogie, and YTB FAT. Now, with “Big Dawg,” Bagg states the obvious. When it comes to the year's dominant force in hip-hop, look no further.
