“I want a big dawg, a big dawg,” Red proclaims at the start of the track. "You ain’t got no bag, you can’t even look at me, n***a.” Later, Bagg chimes in to remind his collaborator of his financial bonafides. “She like my grillz, so when we fuck and I'm on top, she lick my teeth," he raps, before listing his favorite brands: "Prada, Balenciaga, Louis V." It's the kind of unfiltered banger that showcases both their strengths and creative chemistry.
"Big Dawg" is Bagg’s first track since dropping his sprawling mixtape Hard to Love, which was released this summer. The highly praised project includes hits such as “F My BM,”“Quickie,” the RIAA Gold Certified, “On Wat U On” featuring GloRilla, “Motion God,”“Keep It Low” featuring Future, “Ocean Spray,” which served as the first single and received support from Rolling Stone, Billboard, XXL, The FADER, and more. It’s more than just a new studio effort, though. The Southern rap heavyweight has hit the green light on dropping his ‘Where Ya Big @’ music video to the masses.
To accompany the release, today he also shares the imaginative video for “Where Ya Bih @.” In the visual directed by whipalo, Bagg pays great homage to the 2005 Oscar-winning film, "Hustle & Flow.” The parallels between Bagg the main character are uncanny as the iconic movie follows the dramatic life of a hustler turned rapper named DJay (originally played by Terrence Howard), who’s also a native Memphian. Like Bagg, Djay’s an overachiever with a stop-at-nothing approach and a crystal-clear vision for his success, and in the video Bagg seamlessly taps into that role as he playfully paints the picture of his comparable drive and passion. The captivating video is set to release today.
In case you’re still keeping tabs on Moneybagg Yo and what he’s been up to for the past 24 months, tap into his never-ending journey into rap superstardom.
The mixtape, Bagg’s first since 2021’s A Gangsta’s Pain, was preceded by a lengthy letter posted to his Instagram account. “I gained and lost more than I ever thought I would,” Bagg wrote, “and had no other safe outlet for all the emotions and dark thoughts that came wit that other than making music.” That sort of to-the-bone honesty is the defining feature of Hard To Love. The Certified Speaker shared various singles including “Quickie,” "Motion God,” “On Wat U On,” his acclaimed collaboration with label mate, GloRilla, and most recently “Ocean Spray.” The mixtape also features “Keep It Low,” his breakneck collaboration with Future, which sounds as if it’s going to leap out of your speakers and rattle around the inside of your car; as well as additional collaborations with Fridayy, Bagg’s signee, YTB FATT, Shott Off, and Lil Durk.

Rican Da Menace and Moneybagg Yo tap in on ‘DUMB’
While she’s a hitmaker on her own, Rican doubles up with her newest release. The tune is bigger than audio gold so of course she had to come through with the cinematic visual.
Baltimore’s MVP Rican Da Menace unleashes her anticipated track “DUMB” featuring Moneybagg Yo, along with an exhilarating, action-paced 90’s movie inspired official video directed by BenMarc. The anthemic new song dominates with the 21-year-old artist’s defiant charm, packed with Instagram-caption worthy couplets. The new track was first teased by Rican on social media, promoting hundreds of thousands of views and mentions for the anticipated song.
The HitMaka & Tay Keith-produced “DUMB” serves as a fresh re-introduction for the riser as she establishes herself as one of the next rap stars in the game. With her previous singles “Ain’t Going Back”, “I Admit It” and the recent “Uh Ohhh”, Rican continues to add infectious bangers to the burgeoning relentless canon.
Still playing catch-up on Rican’s non-stop grind? Needless to say, she’s been putting in work and sparking all types of attention these past 12 months.
Building an online following with her unapologetic realness and posting unreleased music in popular videos, Rican can be seen in her element, showing off her confidence and relentless hustle creating a frenzy. Memphis rapper Moneybagg Yo is making sure today is bigger than just his born day. The hip-hop heavyweight has come through with his new ‘Blow’ anthem for the masses.
Moneybagg Yo’s ‘Blow’ anthem comes on his birthday
From the witty wordplay to the hard bars, there’s no shortcuts when it comes to a Moneybagg verse being light or forgettable. Staying busy-busy, Yo finds the time to come through on his newest audio gem.
Today, Multi-Platinum Memphis superstar, Moneybagg Younleashes his anthemic new single “Blow.” Relentless and unfiltered, the track displays the skill and the gravity that has made Moneybagg Yo one of raps most instantly recognizable voices — and one of its most colorful, acrobatic MCs. With this release, Bagg is featured on New Music Daily on Apple Music. Listen to the track HERE via CMG/N-Less/Interscope Records.
Where Moneybagg Yo has, in the past, drawn compelling tension between trauma and consumption, on “Blow” he smartly blurs the line between the two. The song’s cleverest turn is that it seems to apply the same scrutiny to human beings that one would use to suss out a fake Rolex. “Hard to sort out all the fake from the real,” he raps over punishing drums. “Gotta look at this shit for what it is.”
This year Moneybagg Yo has kept himself busier than ever. The rapper has been nominated for Billboard Music and iHeartRadio Awards, received acclaim from publications like Pitchfork, Forbes and the New York Times, and collaborated with A-list stars like Kanye West, 2 Chainz, and YG — with whom he recently performed on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. Moneybagg Yo has also established himself as a supreme scout and developer of talent: His artist BIG30 was recently tapped as part of XXL’s latest Freshman Class. Most recently he appeared on the CMG compilation Gangsta Art – a collaborative album with his labelmates. One of his songs from that album, “Big League,” which features CMG CEO Yo Gotti, Mozzy, and Lil Poppa was chosen as the official song of the 2022 NBA Finals. Prior to that, his most recent solo album, 2021’s No. 1 critically acclaimed A Gangsta’s Pain, was certified Gold.

Ari let the drama simmer quickly and relied on her social media page to get a little kinky with her bae by describing just how much she wanted to see him.
“I’m in the bed with your T-shirt on, nothing else… hurry back. If I’m sleep wake me ”

Moneybagg Yo + Ari Fletcher Are Going Nearly Vegan
It all started with Ari going to her Twitter page to reveal her plans to completely switch up her eating habits. In addition to falling back from traditional animal-based cuisine, she also restricted other types of tasty foods.
“30 days of meat, nothing fried, no pasta, no bread. Only fish/shrimp, veggies, brown rice, fruit and water. PRAY FOR ME.”
Fortunately, she won’t take this journey on her own. Fletcher’s ride or die boyfriend Moneybagg Yo is riding with her.

Rihanna Follows JAY-Z’s Vegan Blueprint
Earlier in the year, R&B superstar Rihanna made a major business move in the vegan industry. The Barbados native has reportedly taken a page from JAY-Z's book and further invested in a growing Black-owned company.
Vegan food brand Partake has raised almost $5 million from donors. This is Rihanna’s first investment that isn’t a personal venture, and it seems she’s done it by pitching some major funds to the company. Many other big stars have invested in the company as well, including Hov.
The allergy-friendly food brand closed a $4.8 million series A funding round in late December, led by investors including Rihanna (her first investment beyond personal ventures), Kevin Johnson’s Black Capital, Seattle Seahawks’ Bobby Wagner, Black Star Fund, Once Upon a Farm CEO John Foraker, CircleUp Growth Partners, FF2032 and Marcy Venture Partners. More than 50% of Partake Foods’ total $7.5 million in funding has come from Black investors such as Jay-Z’s VC fund, Marcy Venture Partners, and Grammy Award-winning singer H.E.R. (Forbes)
NLE Choppa Is Living A Healthy Lifestyle Too
Rap newcomer NLE Choppa isn't thinking twice about trying a vegan option at a local fast food spot. The hip-hop star has singled out some of the biggest spots ranging from McDonald's to Taco Bell over the iconic brands' determination to offer vegan options for customers.
Choppa went to his social media pages and didn’t mince words. The hip-hop heavyweight shunned the fast food places for trying to dig into vegan consumers’ pockets and encouraged those types of customers to seek out alternative options.
“McDonalds, Burger King, And Taco Bell Yall foul for trying to make vegan food. Do not eat that sh*t find a great vegan spot near you, not a commercial fast food place, or get groceries and cook it yourself, also grow your own food to cook. Love y’all 💜” -NLE Choppa’s Twitter
Summer Walker’s Vegan PSA
In summer 2018, R&B crooner Summer Walker admitted she had dealt with an uphill battle going vegan. She made a desperate plea on social media in an effort to resist going back to the opposite of plant-based food.
“PSA. I need a vegan chef who is like literally amazing in LA and I need them to come save me and rescue me because I’m about to give up on my vegan journey. It’s nasty as h*ll, it’s disgusting, it’s miserable. I don’t know who lied to y’all and said it’s good because it’s not. And if somebody doesn’t give me a vegan meal that is properly seasoned and tastes delicious, I’m just gonna be a fat, chicken-eating, grease-slurping – I don’t want, we don’t need to talk about it, I don’t want to go there. Somebody please tag them. LA vegan chef. Please Lord, help me, save me.”
