NBA 2K23: The new player ratings are all about Damian Lillard and Donovan Mitchell

Scoring 71 points in one season by any single player is insane. Hi Donovan Mitchell! How about a couple months later doing it again in a whole different conference and flexing on the fellow superstars? Hi Damian Lillard! Needless to say, NBA 2K23 is keeping tabs on your favorite ballers and the latest player rating updates have all eyes on the two 71-point superstars of 2022-2023.

It’s all in the NBA 2K23 player rating updates

Whether you’re balling in the Eastern Conference or sticking to the jam-packed Western Conference, key players like Dame Time and Donny are lighting up the boards with the stats to prove it and the playoffs around the corner.

2K today unveiled the ninth NBA 2K23 player ratings update, featuring improvements for Damian Lillard, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Julius Randle and more. 

Portland Trail Blazers star and, NBA 2K21 cover athlete, Damian Lillard: 95 OVR (+2) is having a career year, averaging 32.4 points per game this season, culminating in a 71-point explosion against the Houston Rockets in his first game back from the All-Star break. Oklahoma City Thunder guard Shai Gilgious-Alexander showed once again why he was named an All-Star in 2023 by returning from injury and immediately leading the Thunder to back-to-back wins, averaging 35.5 points in that stretch.

More major updates include New York Knicks forward Julius Randle: 88 OVR (+1), Miami Heat forward Jimmy Butler: 92 OVR (+1), Cleveland Cavaliers guard Donovan Mitchell: 91 OVR (+1) and more.
