7x BET Award-winning and GRAMMY®-nominated hip hop powerhouse Big Sean announced that his highly anticipated album Better Me Than Youwill release this Friday, August 30 via Def Jam Recordings. In tandem with the release date, Sean unveiled the album’s cover artwork via social media.
Sean has released four advance tracks ahead of Better Me Than You, building a steady drumbeat of hype leading up to his sixth studio album. Kicking off with the critically acclaimed comeback single “Precision,” Sean followed it up with the hard hitting “Yes”which he debuted on Jimmy Kimmel Live!. Last week, Sean released the song’s official Lyrical Lemonade-produced music video that UPROXX described as “a little punk, a little polished gangster, and yet, it’s still very much in line with Sean’s past work.” Earlier this month, he teamed up with The Alchemist on “Together Forever” following the album’s heartfelt third single celebrating fatherhood, “On Up,” that he also performed on Jimmy Kimmel Live!.

Reminding everyone of his influential significance and undeniable legacy, Big Sean recently dropped a viral On The Radar freestyle in which he pays homage to fellow Detroit native Aaliyah, rapping over the 1996 classic “If Your Girl Only Knew.”
