The ‘It Is What It Is’ show returns with the legend Michael Irvin

It’s no secret the NFL season is back-back and so are Cam’ron, Treasure ‘Stat Baby’ Wilson and Ma$e. How about turning things up a few notches with a fresh addition like retired Dallas Cowboys superstar Michael Irvin? Oh yes.

Cam’ron and the “It Is What It Is” sports show announce Michael Irvin as the show’s newest football analyst for season 5, starting September 2nd.

Michael Irvin worked for the NFL Network for 15 years as an analyst. Irvin also spent several years providing football analysis on ESPN’s First Take, GET UP, Sunday NFL Countdown, and other ESPN programs.

Before his commentary career, Michael Irvin was deemed the “playmaker” for the Dallas Cowboys. He was a key piece in the Cowboys' football dynasty, which won three Super Bowl titles in the 1990s.

Michael Irvin is a member of the Hall of Fame All-1990s NFL team, a 5x Pro Bowler, a 1x All-Pro, and a member of the Pro Football Hall of Fame. In his 11-year career, he caught 750 passes for 11,904 yards and 65 touchdowns. He earned his 5 Pro Bowl selections from 1991-1995.

The September 3rd episode discussed Anthony Edwards’s comments about the skill set of the Jordan era of NBA legends, the NFL’s historical record of 15 Black Quarterbacks starting week 1, and whether or not Bills Quarterback Josh Allen is overrated.

But giving an opportunity to his show’s co-host Treasure ‘Stat Baby’ Wilson and seeing her glow up? It’s all types of proud mentor moments.

Cam’ron puts huge respect on Treasure Wilson’s name with her glow up

Just a few months after putting the world onto what ‘It Is What It Is’ and turning it into a massively successful program, Cam hit up his Instagram page to dish on the story behind Wilson’s glow up at just 22 and now a proud home owner.

This March I hired this up and coming broadcaster who was still in college. She was pretty, professional and came across the screen sensational!! As soon as people saw her theY gravitated to her because of her personality. She would go to school and after come moderate for @itiswhatitis_talk (even if we would film at 2am sometime) leave and go back to school. She graduated from UM in March and along the way capturing an NAACP award for broadcasting. As the show grew so did she.

6 months later im proud to say she’s become a star an earning 6 digits annually. In just 3 months out of school. She just got her first crib. I said “stat this ya first crib?” She said “Yea Cam I just graduated school, I’ve been a dorm for four years and I just turned 22 🤷🏾‍♂️” lol

Anyway I’m very proud of this moment and that I can help people out who are talented and qualified to do their thing. I put so many people on and they catch amnesia 🤦🏾‍♂️

But this isn’t my moment it’s hers!! Congrats sis!! Proud of you and we gone get that 6 digits up to 7 sooner then later!!

@producerkspence thx for finding her and convincing me she dope and could be a asset to the team, because she’s been more then that!

It Is What It Is: Cam'ron and Ma$e's must-see sports talk show hits the jackpot

Pay day! Well, at least for Dipset legend Cam’ron and his longtime pal Ma$e. The duo known as the face of their overnight smash ‘It Is What It Is’ hip-hop sports talk show have leveled up in a major way after securing an eight-figure deal with Underdog Fantasy.

Pay day! Well, at least for Dipset legend Cam’ron and his longtime pal Ma$e. The duo known as the face of their overnight smash ‘It Is What It Is’ hip-hop sports talk show have leveled up in a major way after securing an eight-figure deal with Underdog Fantasy.

Cam’ron and Ma$e secure major payday with ‘It Is What It Is’ deal

While the rap game and entertainment world all anxiously await the show’s mighty return in the coming weeks, the massive news is too big to wait for them to broadcast about. While details are still coming together, it’s clear the New York-based sports platform has secured easily one of the best forms of entertainment in the culture.

The highly popular sports talk show, “It Is What It Is” hosted by Cam’ron Giles, Mason (Ma$e) Betha, and Treasure “Stat Baby” Wilson, signed an eight-figure deal with popular sports betting platform Underdog Fantasy. Their partnership will last for eighteen months.

The “It Is What It Is” show, under Giles' Come And Talk 2 Me network, will be back in the first week of September after a successful first season earlier in the year. The sports talk show featured guests in hip-hop and sports culture with the likes of Ice Cube, Stephen A Smith, Paul Pierce, Andre Drummond, Brandon Marshall, and more. The two New York rap legends and the analytic hostess creates a perfect blend of cutting-edge journalism with the delivery from a robust New York culture.

The Brooklyn-based sports platform, Underdog Fantasy, has cosigned other major sports platforms like Gil’s Arena hosted by former NBA player Gilbert Arenas. It’s a fast-rising sports betting platform available in most states. One can start making bets at eighteen (except for MA and AZ where you have to be 21+, and AL & NE where you have to be 19+).

“Thank you Nick (Nicholas [Rudman] of Underdog Fantasy),” says Giles, “We appreciate you seeing the true value of ‘It is What it Is.’”

Cam'ron: Killa is going to become the rap game's Oprah Winfrey

New York rapper Cam’ron is much more than just nice-nice with the rapping. He’s proving to be an all-out entertainer both on the mic and on-screen - notably with his latest venture into sports talk broadcasts and it’s only right to geek out over new projects he has lined up.

New York rapper Cam’ron is much more than just nice-nice with the rapping. He’s proving to be an all-out entertainer both on the mic and on-screen - notably with his latest venture into sports talk broadcasts and it’s only right to geek out over new projects he has lined up.

Cam’ron’s new venture into the TV world is officially with multiple projects on deck

It’s bigger than his recently launched ‘It Is What It Is’ series - Cam is juggling multiple programs slated to premiere in the coming months from his ‘Come & Talk To Me’ to his longtime pal Ma$e’s upcoming ‘Fix My Life’ series.

Cam’ron Giles announces three new shows under his “Come And Talk 2 Me” network. “Es Lo Que Es," "Come And Talk 2 Me,” and “Ma$e’s Fix My Life” will premiere this fall.

In February 2023, Giles launched the sports talk show “It Is What It Is” alongside fellow co-hosts Mason Ma$e Betha and Treasure “Stat Baby” Wilson. Months after the show’s rapid rise in popularity, “It Is What It Is” is expanding their coverage with an all-hispanic show in “Es Lo Que Es.”

“Es Lo Que Es” (@esloquees_talkshow) focuses on baseball coverage by a Hispanic/Latino cast with actor Cuban Hunter(@thecubanhunter), hardworking dad Fidel Gocio (@fgocio), and known blogger Loopy (@everybodylovesloopy). The sports show currently has a few episodes out now on YouTube and became the first show to branch from “It Is What It Is” on the“Come And Talk 2 Me” network.

When asked about the show’s vision, producer BBinc stated, “I want it to be presented as if we’re giving barbershop talk or block talk you would see in NYC about baseball. Not only do we want to talk about what’s going on currently, but we would also like to discuss the great moments in the history of the sport. It’ll feel very natural as if you’re drinking a Corona and watching the game with your friends.”

“Come And Talk 2 Me,” hosted by Cam’ron, where Cam’ron helps people with their personal issues. Whether it’s relationship problems, family issues, or job troubles, Cam’ron wants to be an open ear and provide his best advice on any matter. The trailer has Cam’ron Giles helping a married couple overcome adversities such as the wife being handicapped and the husband expressing how tired he is taking care of her.

Betha’s new show, Ma$e, Fix My Life will focus on people overcoming difficulties in their lives.

Giles explained his interest in developing these different shows with a desire to transition into show production. “I have been trying to work with others to be on networks or shows to no avail. I’m forty-seven. I’m tired of waiting for calls back. I told myself “let me take a chance on myself” and that’s what I did.” said Giles.
