It’s classic vibes going down around these parts and what better way to set the mood than paying homage to Philadelphia rap legend Beanie Sigel’s ‘Feel It In The Air’ 2005 classic? Rap heavyweights YTB Fatt and Rylo Rodriguez come through with their revamped ‘In The Air’ anthem.

YTB Fatt and Rylo Rodriguez come through with ‘In The Air’

It’s way more than just a fire audio anthem for the masses to embrace. The rap duo come through with a hard-hitting music video worthy of your full attention.

Memphis mainstay YTB Fatt has just shared his new single “In The Air” featuring Alabama heavyweight and CBFW supergroup member Rylo Rodriguez, along with an accompanying video. Defined by a soulful sample of Beanie Sigel’s 2005 hit “Feel It In The Air” and bolstered by a strong visual narrative, Fatt joins forces with Rodriguez for a moving track that sees the two rising stars trading heartfelt verses about the pain of watching a loved one get locked up. “In The Air” arrives on the heels of a breakthrough year for the Memphis emcee, who signed to Moneybagg Yo’s storied Loaf Boyz label in January 2023. A strong string of releases quickly followed, including YTB Fatt’s breakout single “Shot Off Gumbo” featuring Moneybagg Yo and Fat Wizza (24M Streams), “Bet I Whip It" featuring Rob49 (6.5M Streams) from his acclaimed debut mixtape Who Is Fatt, and December project Foxes Only, which boasted features from the likes of Lil Yachty(“Forreal”), GloRilla (“Embarrassing”), and BabyDrill (“Owe Me Some Money”).

Still riding the wave from a pivotal 2023 year during which he toured with the likes of Moneybagg Yo and Sexyy Red and received a co-sign from Lil Durk following the release of his viral single “Get Back” (38M Streams), recent months have seen the West Memphis, Arkansas native drop the YouTube Top 25-trending video “Same” (which samples Usher’s “Same Girl”) and link up with OT7 Quanny for April heater “I Did It”. Having just wrapped up his first headlining tour during which he performed sold-out shows in Houston and Atlanta, YTB Fatt is continuing his momentous run with “In The Air” as he gears up to release more music this year.

YTB Fatt: Who says you can't drop audio fire after Friday? The 'Same' anthem hits hard

We’re far removed from last Friday but it doesn’t matter when you’re dealing with hip-hop artist YTB Fatt and the newly released ‘Same’ anthem. The song goes hard and comes as a two-piece pack with the ‘I Luv U’ tune, too.

We’re far removed from last Friday but it doesn’t matter when you’re dealing with hip-hop artist YTB Fatt and the newly released ‘Same’ anthem. The song goes hard and comes as a two-piece pack with the ‘I Luv U’ tune, too.

YTB Fatt delivers with ‘Same’ for the masses

Forget a new music Friday, Fatt drops pure audio fire with ‘Same’ this week. A new tune and plenty more to come? Say less.

The new single finds Fatt entering his R&B era, flipping a nostalgic instrumental into a compelling tale about two friends falling for the same woman. Fatt’s throaty rasp cuts through the poignant piano chords with ease, expressing his disbelief that he was bamboozled by his lover’s double life. Previewed on Triller and TikTok in late February (43.2K+ creations to date) and recently earned a stamp of approval from Usher, “Same” continues Fatt’s run of loose singles that continue to boost his profile, following the “Brazi Blue Cheese” and “I Luv U.”

With Moneybagg Yo's Bread Gang behind him and over 140 million streams in the bank, YTB Fatt had a breakout year in 2023, highlighted by his recent mixtape Who Is Fatt. His first full-length project, Who Is Fatt charted on Billboard and Apple Music, reaching #4 on Billboard's Heatseekers Albums and charting as high as #12 on Apple Music's All-Genre Album Chart and at #6 on Apple Music's Hip-Hop Albums Chart. The project is home to his breakout hit "Get Back" (18 million YouTube views), and the Pitchfork-praised "Poppin It Hard," plus guest appearances from Rob49, Big Homiie G and FTO Sett. Fatt followed up Who Is Fatt with the take-no-prisoners 10-pack Foxes Only, featuring guest appearances from Lil Yachty, GloRilla, and BabyDrill. Both Who Is Fatt and Foxes Only are available on all platforms.

With his distinct flow and catchy lyrics, G explores various themes, while giving listeners an inside look at his status in the streets and luxury life. “$elf Made $elf Paid” is also a celebration of how far he’s come in his career with his own talent and dedication to his craft.

As you may know, G is signed to NBA legend Zach Randolph’s NLess Entertainment record label that boasts a promising roster with fellow labelmates Moneybagg Yo, BIG30, Dee Mula, Fredo Ruthless and more.

G originally started his music career as part of a group with Moneybagg Yo and Blac Youngsta before they parted ways to focus on their individual, solo artistry.  He eventually went to release his “Big Homiie Status 2” project in 2020 that included features from Pooh Shiesty, Fredo Bang, BIG30 and others.

The single alone does repeat-mode treatment but getting a full-fledged music video, too? Way too epic. Tap in.

Known for breathless flow and effortless flexes, YTB Fatt is taking the Dirty South by storm. He continues to prove why he’s next up, sharing “Brazi Blue Cheese,” his new single. Inspired by Gumbo founder Luka Brazi, the track finds Fatt spitting ferocious bars as he compares himself to the successful cannabis brand’s founder over menacing and pounding 808s. A boss in his own right, Fatt has made his way to the top of his city, learning lessons along the way: “It’s a hard knock life in this sh*t / I almost lost my life to this sh*t.” The video gives a glimpse into Fatt's life as a rising rap star, as he gets lit in the studio and performs for rabid crowds.

“Brazi Blue Cheese” continues YTB’s Fatt's streak of energetic bangers, following recent singles “Secrets” and “I Luv U.” With Moneybagg Yo's Bread Gang behind him and over 140 million streams in the bank, YTB Fatt had a breakout year in 2023, highlighted by his recent mixtape Who Is Fatt. Taking over the Dirty South with 90 million streams and counting, YTB Fatt is one of the top new stars from the bottom of the map. Coming through with another breathlessly intense slapper, Fatt describes his ideal woman in "She Legit," his new video single. Running roughshod over a sinister trap instrumental, the West Memphis, Arkansas rapper goes full Tex Avery after finding a beautiful woman who understands his street lifestyle: "Playing her role like she an angel, deep down she a demon," asserts Fatt in his charming Southern drawl. In the video, Fatt takes over a local club with some of his prettiest friends, as he shows off his ice and prepares for a long night ahead.

"She Legit" continues a streak of high-quality releases for YTB Fatt, most recently the fiery single “Let’s See” and the ice-cold three-pack Fox Prelude. Kicking off with a motivational speech from the famous wrestler, "Ric Flair Woo" quickly morphs into a haunting Southern slapper, mixing somber violins with crackling percussion. Fatt inserts himself into the instrumental's copious negative space–including multiple sections without any drums at all–as he experiments with his flow, feverishly spitting his truth, and only stopping to take the occasional breath. In the video (live at 3pm ET), Fatt kicks back in the studio, counting cash and hanging out in a shiny new Maybach, as the visual effects transform him into the spitting image of his nickname: "Fox."
