YTB Fatt: On a Monday Night Raw day, it's all about the 'Ric Flair Woo' flex
Hard-hitting and fire - er - fire? You better believe it. YTB Fatt is coming through with the audio heat courtesy of the new ‘Ric Flair Woo’ anthem.
YTB Fatt delivers with the ‘Ric Flair Woo’ music video
The song is audio flames but getting the music video too? Super tough. It’s a cinematic glow up and YTB Fatt shows no signs of slowing down his self-created greatness.
Moving up in the world of Southern rap with undeniable style and nearly 80 million streams in the bank, YTB Fatt is here to stay. Channeling the spirit of the "Nature Boy," the Bread Gang rapper shares "Ric Flair Woo," his ultra-confident new video single. Kicking off with a motivational speech from the famous wrestler, "Ric Flair Woo" quickly morphs into a haunting Southern slapper, mixing somber violins with crackling percussion. Fatt inserts himself into the instrumental's copious negative space–including multiple sections without any drums at all–as he experiments with his flow, feverishly spitting his truth, and only stopping to take the occasional breath. In the video (live at 3pm ET), Fatt kicks back in the studio, counting cash and hanging out in a shiny new Maybach, as the visual effects transform him into the spitting image of his nickname: "Fox."
"Ric Flair Woo" is the West Memphis, Arkansas first new single since releasing Who Is Fatt, his scintillating debut album. Who Is Fatt is already charting on Billboard and Apple Music, reaching #4 on Billboard's Heatseekers Albums and charting as high as #12 on Apple Music's All-Genre Album Chart and at #6 on Apple Music's Hip-Hop Albums Chart. Fatt recently expanded his debut album with Who Is Fatt (Extended Clip), adding three new songs, including explanatory title track "Who Is Fatt." Home to the street hits "Get Back," "Calm It Down" (4.7 million total streams, gaining at 200k per day), and the Pitchfork-praised "Poppin It Hard," plus guest appearances from Rob49 (on "Bet I Whip It," 1.3 million views), Big Homiie G (on recent single “Us”) and FTO Sett, Who Is Fatt is available everywhere via Loaf Boyz Ventures / 10K Projects.
Who Is Fatt is the first full-length project from YTB Fatt, who has been rising steadily in the Dirty South since the beginning of the year. Born and raised in West Memphis, Arkansas, just across the Mississippi from the Tennessee rap hotbed, YTB Fatt caught the attention of an impressed Moneybagg Yo with songs like "Played Out" and "Don't Crash." Moneybagg Yo quickly signed Fatt to his Bread Gang label, collaborating with Fatt on the hit "Shot Off Gumbo" (5+ million YouTube views) and connecting Fatt with Lil Durk on "Rock Out"–both of Yo and Fatt's collaborations appeared on the Memphis rapper's Hard To Love album. Since then, Fatt has continued to drop more street hits, including “Get Back,” which boasts over 4.6M YouTube views, and recent single "Us" ft. Big Homiie G (1.1 million views), racking up nearly 89 million streams across platforms on his catalog in just a few short months.
With his debut mixtape under his belt, Fatt is tirelessly working to reach the top of the rap game. Stay tuned for much more.
