Yung Pooda’s new ‘Buss Down’ is all types of summer vibes

Houston artist Yung Pooda released his new song “Buss Down” via It’s a 10 Records.

On the track, produced by Grammy award-winning producers Cool & Dre, Pooda unleashes a rapid-fire flow as he reflects on his humble beginnings over a dreamy, whimsical beat. Pooda compares the days where he rode the bus to present day where rides in a drop-top and purchases expensive jewelry.

“Buss Down” is Yung Pooda’s second musical release of 2023 and comes off the heels of his song “Already Know” featuring A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie and Angelica Villa which currently sits at over 9 million views on YouTube and has over 2.9 million streams on Spotify. Recently, the song was also featured on Ebro’s Discovered on Apple Music. “Already Know” also charted at No. 25 on Top 25 on Urban and Rhythmic Radio.

Yung Pooda also stopped by On The Radar at the 2023 BET Awards and blessed the mic with a freestyle. The Houston native has been receiving co-signs from industry heavyweights such as Fat Joe who was also featured on Pooda’s other recently release track, “Did It Again”. Now, Yung Pooda gears up for the release of his upcoming debut project Vivid Pictures that will feature production from beatsmiths Cool & Dre.
