Mac Critter & YTB Fatt: The New 1017 standout comes through flexing in the 'Switches Dump' music video

Fresh from his recently released HIM 2 album, it was only a matter of time before Mac linked with fellow rap heavyweights YTB Fatt for their hard-hitting ‘Switches Dump’ music video. Peep the details and keep scrolling to see them in action.
In the video, directed by Shot By Dre, Critter can be seen in the studio alongside YTB Fatt and his friends dripped out in diamonds. The Memphis native delivers rapid-fire lyrics about girls, flying on private plans and money while YTB Fatt flaunts his grills and huge stacks of cash on his arm.
The release of visual comes off the heels of Critter’s two-disc project HIM 2 which serves as the follow to his debut mixtape, HIM and the official visual for “Blur My Vision” featuring BigWalkDog. The project features 16 tracks on disc one and eight previously released tracks on disc two. HIM 2 also includes appearances from Gucci Mane, YTB Fatt, Sett, Young Scooter, BigWalkDog and Lil Double 0.
Mac Critter signed to The New 1017 label at the end of 2022, and it was only a few months later when the Memphis native’s talents were recognized by his peers and industry tastemakers. Dropping music consistently from the start, his music was shared on Instagram by now fellow labelmate, Sett, and was instantly put on Gucci Mane’s radar. “Wop saw it and was like, ‘Damn’,” smiles Mac Critter. “I had never met him before then, but he was a big influence on my life. We were always listening to Wop. When he reached out to me, he felt where I was coming from. God blessed me with this opportunity now. I’ve been putting in work. I’m in a bigger position; I want to put my family in a position to be straight forever.”
Mac Critter is solidifying his place on the Memphis rap scene as hits like “Burst" continue to grow. “Burst” has now accumulated 760k+ US streams to date and 343k+ YouTube views. Stay tuned for more music to come from the rap phenom.
