Danny Towers: The 'Where You Been?' music video is a daily grind routine
Keeping it 100? Rap artist Danny Towers is clearly a one of one and delivers such a signature voice to his tunes. But getting a full-fledged music video too? It’s all eyes on the ‘Where You Been?’ visual, of course.

It’s a real-life Grand Theft Auto Online type flex for Danny. Tap in.
Orlando’s very-own cold-blooded trapper with expensive taste, Danny Towers, just dropped his new single “Where You Been?” out now via EMPIRE. The track is a slinky, glistening anthem for the dealers, mixing G-funk synths, sparkling keys, and Fender Rhodes that put the Vice in Miami. Danny gracefully maneuvers through the 1000 thread count instrumental, as he talks strictly business: "They like 'Danny where you been,' I been walking down a mil/I'm countin' up this paper, I ain't have to do no drill." In the video, directed by Benny Flash, Danny counts cash, dodges the law, and flirts with a baddie who is blissfully unaware of his most-wanted status.
These singles arrived in the wake of Safe House, his 2023 collaborative project with DJ Scheme, home to the viral single, "Florida Water" ft. Luh Tyler & Ski Mask The Slump God, which earned praise from XXL, Stereogum, HotNewHipHop, and more. "Florida Water" inspired a photo dump trend on TikTok, where creators drop the flyest selfies in their Photos app as the beat drops and Danny’s infectious hook, “Threw him in that water, I’m from Florida, but my wrist Cuban,” gives way to Luh Tyler’s croaking verse. Peaking at #1 on TikTok's trending charts, the song generated over 200k video creations on TikTok, over 35 million streams on all platforms, and reached the top spot on SoundCloud's daily chart. With additional guest appearances from Denzel Curry, Robb Bank$, and more, Safe House is available everywhere via TC Music LLC/EMPIRE.

It’s all eyes on Loe coming courtesy of his newly released ‘Murda Dance’ single and music video. Kick back and embrace the fun.
Pompano Beach, FL artist Loe Shimmy has just shared his new single "Murda Dance", along with an accompanying music video. As a fundamental member of Florida's Hip-Hop scene, Loe Shimmy has carved out his own lane through his distinct raspy voice and croaky delivery of his introspective bars. His new single “Murda Dance” finds Loe Shimmy stretching his strained vocals and tapping into his melodic flow as he hones in on the depths of his struggles and successes – "Pour a deuce of Wok in my cup and I'm sippin', I'm floatin', get high like a pigeon / I got all these racks, but there's still something missing". Fresh off of his breakthrough year in 2022 that came complete with a Drake co-sign, collaborations with the likes of Kodak Black & Luh Tyler, and his biggest song to date in “Fallin" (6M+ Streams), Loe Shimmy has been continuing his momentum into 2023 with a performance at Rolling Loud, a collaboration with DJ Scheme & Danny Towers in “Chunky Monkey”, as well as an impressive string of solo singles that fully showcase his intimate songwriting, including “Can’t Blame Em”, “Wok & Minute Maid” and now "Murda Dance".
As Loe Shimmy effectively continues his hot streak with each new release, emphasizing his guttural cadence and expanding his knack for reflective storytelling, Shimmy has his eyes set on solidifying himself as an essential artist coming out of Florida’s saturated scene. His raspy voice highlights his mixture of candid wordplay and a selective yet eclectic beat selection, which has resulted in Loe Shimmy garnering critical acclaim from the likes of The FADER, Pitchfork & more. "Murda Dance" serves as the latest release in a balanced slew of singles throughout this year, which includes the deeply introspective “Maybach Curtains”, as well as “Safe Route” and “Can’t Blame Em” – both of which showcase his artistic strength of getting off flexes while simultaneously reflecting on what he's gone through in order to get here.

Pompano Beach, FL artist Loe Shimmy has just shared his new video single “Leave In”. Loe Shimmy is a fundamental member of the sprawling Florida Hip-Hop scene, who has quickly stood out amongst his contemporaries through his raspy voice & croaky delivery that complement his introverted bars. Fresh off of his breakthrough year with a Drake co-sign, energetic collaborations with the likes of Kodak Black & Luh Tyler, and his biggest song to date in “Fallin" (6M+ Streams), Loe Shimmy has been continuing his momentum into 2023 with a performance at Rolling Loud, a collaboration with DJ Scheme & Danny Towers in “Chunky Monkey”, as well as an impressive string of singles that includes “Can’t Blame Em”, “Ain’t Enough” and “Wok & Minute Maid”.
His new single “Leave In” serves as the latest addition, finding Loe Shimmy tapping into his vulnerable side as he works through the state of his mental health and relationships – “I’m off perkies while I’m leaning / Can't fill up my cup, I’m codeine dreaming / Tired of fighting with these demons, I’m just tryna go fill up arenas“. As he effectively continues his hot streak with each release, stretching his guttural cadence and expanding his knack for reflective storytelling, Loe Shimmy is continuously solidifying himself as an essential artist coming out of Florida’s saturated scene.
Fresh off of his breakthrough year in 2022 that saw him release his project Z end, the viral yet reflective single “Fallin” & “Bounty” (feat. Kodak Black), Loe Shimmy has been carefully selective with releases this year. Standout collaborations with contemporaries like Kodak Black, Luh Tyler, Wizz Havinn & C Stunna, as well as his string of solo singles, have helped to fully capture Loe Shimmy's uniquely guttural voice and imaginative wordplay. In the process, Loe Shimmy has been continuously championed by his mixture of candid wordplay and a selective, eclectic beat selection – emerging as not only a Florida mainstay, but also a key player in pushing the boundaries of the ever-changing Hip-Hop scene forward. This has resulted in Loe Shimmy garnering critical acclaim from the likes of The FADER, Pitchfork & more. "Leave In" is just the latest release in a balanced slew of singles that includes the deeply introspective “Maybach Curtains”, as well as “Safe Route” and “Can’t Blame Em”, which showcase his artistic strength of flexing while simultaneously reflecting on what he's gone through in order to get here. With each subsequent release, Loe Shimmy is further flexing his vivid lyricism and experimenting with his straining cadences.
Loe Shimmy: Florida's own comes through with the 'Can't Blame Em' music video flex
Singles are always the go-to but adding a visual flex to your fire tune? Always tough. So it’s no surprise Loe Shimmy made sure to get the cameras rolling for his new ‘Can’t Blame Em’ anthem.
Singles are always the go-to but adding a visual flex to your fire tune? Always tough. So it’s no surprise Loe Shimmy made sure to get the cameras rolling for his new ‘Can’t Blame Em’ anthem.
It’s all types of cinematic blazing from start to finish. Peep the details and keep scrolling to see Loe star in his latest visual.
Loe Shimmy is from Pompano Beach, Florida that has a sound like really nobody else out of the state. He has this soft, melodic tone mixed with the hard-nosed style of South Florida -– resulting in something that sounds like if The Weeknd grew up in South Florida. After blowing up with "Bounty" featuring Kodak, "A Day In The NOLA" with frequent collaborator Luh Tyler, and his viral Tik Tok hit "Fallin" (#loeshimmy has 3.9M views + co-signed by Drake), Shimmy is beyond poised to have a breakout moment this year. He also just hopped off Luh Tylers first multi-city tour + performed at Rolling Loud Miami. He also just had a stellar freestyle on On The Radar and is gearing up to release a mixtape in the Fall.
Hailing from the city of Pompano Beach, Florida, Loe Shimmy is an artist quickly on the rise – using his combination of a distinctive croaky voice & expressive lyricism to captivate fans, peers and critics alike. Articulating his intimate feelings and working through them through his use of vivid wordplay typically delivered through his uniquely raspy voice, Loe Shimmy is continually proving to be a standout member of his state’s flourishing Hip-Hop scene. Although he’s only dropped two full-length projects – 2021’s Zuper PowerZ & last year’s Z end, which was led by the Drake-approved track “Tina”, Loe Shimmy has been on a speedy ascension thanks to his string of popular singles, music videos & collaborations with the likes of Kodak Black (“Get Away”), and Luh Tyler (“Santa” & “A Day In The Noya”).
Both of them have released albums this year boasting a feature from Shimmy – a strong testament to the faith that his state’s heavy-hitters have in his craft & dynamic storytelling abilities. While tracks like the “Motion” remix – a Florida posse cut alongside his close collaborators Wizz Havinn & C Stunna, and “Not the Same”, find Shimmy flexing his imaginative flexes & charismatic personality, others like the jazzy “Bounty” (feat. Kodak Black) & “scarz” (1.4M+ Streams), find him delivering deeply Introspective and melodic performances, addressing mental health struggles & reflecting on the consequences of his lifestyle through his croonful delivery. Although Loe Shimmy consistently raps in a deceptively chill manner, he never shies away from getting deeply introspective, often doing so over production that calls back to jazz and R&B – it’s this type of tasteful beat selection that helps Loe Shimmy in fully flexing his diversity as an emcee.
In a crowded Florida Hip-Hop scene, Loe Shimmy has been putting on for his city while actively setting himself apart from his contemporaries through his strained delivery, charismatic raps & expressive incorporation of melodies into his otherwise grimy sound. Coming off of his breakthrough year in 2022 & having recently wrapped up a tour alongside Luh Tyler & Trapland Pat, which came to a close this past weekend with his performance at Rolling Loud Miami, Loe Shimmy has thus far been calculated with his releases this year – dropping a few feature verses, singles & YouTube videos, including the candid “Maybach Curtains”. With critical acclaim from major publications like The FADER, Pitchfork, Passion of the Weiss & others, as well as growing popularity on TikTok, where #loeshimmy has 3.9M views & counting, while “Fallin” has been used in nearly 12K videos on the platform, popularizing his bars like “I’m tired of spinnin’ Benz and killin’, I’m tryna get rich like Roddy”, Loe Shimmy is well on his way to transitioning from a local star to international success story thanks to his truly singular sound.

If you just want to say what up, if you want to tell me you love my videos, you can tell me that you hate my videos but the best way to do that is on Instagram. Peace y’all, Jonny Fastlane here. So, 6ix9ine’s girlfriend gets arrested for slapping him. Let’s talk hip-hop!
So this situation is crazy. 6ix9ine’s girlfriend Jade got arrested for slapping him last night. And y’all know Jade. She’s been with 6ix9ine for about four years now, since even before he went to jail, before he told on everybody and all of that.
The whole situation is apparently, and y’all know this, 6ix9ine is a protected government informant so he always has police around him. Whether on-duty or off-duty, so anyway, 6ix9ine and his girlfriend were in Florida. They were being escorted somewhere and then they start arguing. She starts getting up in his face. She slaps him. Scratches him. And then tries to grab his chain too.
That’s when 6ix9ine pretty much walked away from her and then went back and told one of his top security g guards. ‘Hey you know, she just slapped me.’
So they went and started asking a bunch of witnesses and the witnesses said, ‘Yup, she slapped him,’ and then they arrested her.
So then 6ix9ine actually spoke with TMZ because the whole situation went down and he was telling TMZ, ‘Yeah, she slapped me but I think she was drunk and I’m trying to bail her out now.’ He said he’s not going to press any charges or anything like that.
She’s still in jail right now and 6ix9ine is probably right outside the parking lot in his bullet proof sprinter waiting for him to come out and we will see what happens but this whole situation is crazy.
It sounds like another Blueface and Chrisean Rock situation. The only thing is Blueface don’t be running to the police. Let me know what y’all think about this in the comments.

There’s no slowing down Trapland Pat these days. The hip-hop star has stepped up to come through with the visual treatment to his ‘Mad’ anthem and it’s all turn up feelings and vibes from start through finish.
The Florida native drops another cinematic video from his Trapnificent project and proves he’s having fun doing what he does best.
With his radiant intensity and his dexterous flows, Trapland Pat is a force of fun in South Florida trap. Determined to elevate to a worldwide audience, Pat shares the new video for “Mad,” a highlight track from his recent project, Trapnificent. The Dizzy You Violated-produced track finds Pat skating over slick Latin-flavored guitar licks and pitter pattering hi-hats as he paves the way for a bright future while staying true to his humble roots: “Hundred bands cash, I can tell you never seen that/And I don’t talk money cause my people ain’t rich yet/My people stuck in Haiti, I can’t even much fix that.” Directed by WesHype2.0, the video for “Mad” finds Pat cool as a cucumber at a kickback, toting burner-shaped liquor bottles, reclining on a couch surrounded by baddies, and even using a D’usse bottle as a microphone, which he previewed in a clip on Instagram last week.
“Mad” is the first video from Trapnificent since the project’s release last month. The follow-up to last year's Thru Da Door, Trapnificent is home to standout singles like the joyful “Trap Dance” and the sinister “D.O.A.” Pat taps frequent collaborator PepperJack Zoe, who produced his breakout hit "Big Business," to handle the bulk of the production, his creeping piano-led beats providing grounding for Pat's larger-than-life bars and hummable melodies. Trapnificent rolls out the red carpet for a tasteful selection of guests, including Sacramento street hero Mozzy, Fredo Bang, who signed Pat to his imprint Bang Biz and appears twice on the tape, NYC Winners Circle maestro Eli Fross, and Memphis' own BIG30. Trapnificent earned praise from Pitchfork, who called the project a "zippy distillation of his regional roots" and said that Pat's music is "extremely regionally and culturally specific, like so much exciting and promising new rap music."

“Rich How I’m Dyin” is one of the first new singles this year from Hotboii (alongside “WTF” and “Lately” which released earlier this Spring), both following up on the momentum from his breakout year. He closed 2021 supporting Polo G’s tour with a gripping set that included fan favorites like “Don’t Need Time”, his viral hit which catapulted him to success, and “Nobody Special” featuring Future. Last year’s run of tour dates also included his major festival debut at Rolling Loud Miami, where he celebrated an iconic slot at one of his home state’s most beloved festival. This year he’ll return to the Rolling Loud stage in Miami on Saturday, July 23rd to play another thrilling set filled with a mix of fan-favorites and new hits.
