It's March and here's 11 movies/shows you gotta see this spring

Normally a post like this would end up in the PREVIEWS, REVIEWS and MORE section but whenever movies are involved, I can’t help but geek out quite a bit. January and February are long gone but there’s no reason to frown, instead let’s turn those upside down and get ready for three months packed with huge Hollywood blockbuster flicks.

It’s my personal pleasure to toss up a Spring Preview List of must-see films and projects you can’t miss over the next few weeks from Kid Cudi a.k.a. Scott Mescudi’s X to Sandra Bullock’s The Lost City and Idris Elba’s Sonic The Hedgehog 2. Kick back and check them out.

1. Amazon Studios’ Master

Three African American women begin to share disturbing experiences at a predominantly white college in New England. March 18, 2022.

2. Roadside Attractions’ Alice

Alice, an enslaved person yearning for freedom on a Georgia plantation, escapes through the woods and stumbles through time into the year 1973. March 18, 2022.

3. STX Films’ Operation Fortune: Ruse De Guerre

Special agent Orson Fortune and his team of operatives recruit one of Hollywood's biggest movie stars to help them on an undercover mission when the sale of a deadly new weapons technology threatens to disrupt the world order. March 18, 2022.

4. A24 Films’ X

In 1979, a group of young filmmakers set out to make an adult film in rural Texas, but when their reclusive, elderly hosts catch them in the act, the cast find themselves fighting for their lives. March 18, 2022.

5. HBO Max’s Moonshot

In a future where Mars is terraformed and colonized by the best humanity has to offer, two college students wind up joining forces and sneak onboard a space shuttle to the red planet in order to be united with their significant others. March 24, 2022.

6. Paramount’s The Lost City

A reclusive romance novelist on a book tour with her cover model gets swept up in a kidnapping attempt that lands them both in a cutthroat jungle adventure. March 25, 2022.

7. Disney/Marvel Studios’ Moon Knight

A former U.S. Marine, struggling with dissociative identity disorder, is granted the powers of an Egyptian moon god. But he soon finds out that these newfound powers can be both a blessing and a curse to his troubled life. March 30, 2022.

8. Sony’s MORBIUS

Biochemist Michael Morbius tries to cure himself of a rare blood disease, but he inadvertently infects himself with a form of vampirism instead. April 1, 2022.

9. Spectrum’s Long Slow Exhale

J.C. Abernathy, the successful head coach of a competitive women’s college basketball team, finds herself in the middle of a potentially career shattering scandal that forces her to do everything she can to protect her players, her family, and career. April 1, 2022.

10. Paramount’s Sonic The Hedgehog 2

Sonic teams up with his own sidekick, Tails, and together they embark on a journey to find the emerald before it falls into the wrong hands. April 8, 2022.

11. Paramount’s Top Gun: Maverick

After more than thirty years of service as one of the Navy's top aviators, Pete Mitchell is where he belongs, pushing the envelope as a courageous test pilot and dodging the advancement in rank that would ground him. May 27, 2022.
