GRAMMY®-nominated, diamond-certified producer and global superstar Metro Boomin unveiled a new music video for his hit single, "Walk Em Down (We Don’t Kill Civilians)," in celebration of the two year anniversary of his critically acclaimed, award-winning 2022 album, HEROES & VILLAINS. The cinematic visuals marked a significant milestone in the success of theHEROES & VILLAINS campaign. Recognized as one of the 25 most-streamed rap albums of all time, the album has amassed nearly 9 billion streams, with its iconic debut in the critically acclaimed Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse film soundtrack cementing its place in cultural history.
Directed by esteemed filmmaker Hidji, and produced by the talented Ceze and Ricky Zanders, the noir-style music video portrays a powerful message, addressing deeply impactful themes surrounding youth violence. Featuring artists on the track, 21 Savage andMustafa, the video employs striking imagery to explore heavy themes of pain, breaking harmful cycles, and the resilience of individuals and families affected by violence.
This has been a monumental year for Metro Boomin, as he just recently received four nominations for the 2025 GRAMMY® Awards, celebrating his chart-topping dual-album projects; ‘We Don’t Trust You’ and ‘We Still Don’t Trust You’ in collaboration with Future.
