Doja Cat's falling back from touring over a medical setback
Who doesn’t want to see Doja Cat perform live? Unfortunately there’s a slight setback for seeing the West Coast crooner hit the stage after announcing plans to have tonsil surgery.
Doja Cat’s hitting the pause button for a minute
According to Doja Cat, she’s going to sit tight and let her body heal up before rushing onto tour stages. She feels super crushed about the situation but provides some excitement about what’s to come.
“Hi guys. I wanted you to hear it from me first. Unfortunately I have to have surgery on my tonsils asap. The surgery is routine but the recovery is going to take awhile due to swelling. That means I have to cancel my festival run this summer as well as The Weeknd tour. I feel horrible about this but can’t wait for this to heal and get back to making music and create an experience for y’all.”
